Redwood Circle - Park and Garden in Tijuana, Mexico
Well it seems to me the San Diego Park service could have spent more time caring for these ((((REDWOODS))))guys. You sawed all but one. If it was beetle kill its because you overlooked we actually had nearly 200 year old REDWOODS...SHAME ON BALBOA PARK.Two stars because one is still alive.
Sadly, most of the redwoods have been cut down at the circle (and it is a very short paved hoop around a grass field); however, there are still some across the little street by the restrooms. Directly next to the circle is a simply stunning, partially palm tree covered trail: Bridle Trail- this trail makes it worth it! The whole area is very beautiful!
Absolutely 💯 beautiful 😍
If you love nature and beautiful weather this place is a great visit during the day, and it’s good cruisy dusk nightfall pit stop. I’m from Pennsylvania originally where there’s a sh*t ton of trees and even I was impressed with the foliage there #yestonature
Perfect place to relax on the grass and catch some sun.
Beautiful
Very much improved since my last review the transient population has reduced dramatically ( I do wish them well ). Was most happy to see families with young children walking the lower trails again. Regretfully all the picnic tables have been removed and most of the trees are being cut down, I dont think many Redwoods are left.
Rest point after a walk through the trails
Doesnt feel like a big city park, yet is very open, quiet and beautiful.
My holistic health practitioner, helped helped me align my chakras. It was a beautiful spot.
Its a good place to eat lunch or just go out and walk
A little hidden gem in Balboa Park. The grass is so soft you can run around barefoot while you play frisbee.
The 100 year old red woods have been cut down. No more forest :(
Hot boyz
Beautiful!!!
That one guy named juiice is the man to hang out with
Beautiful scenery, but crazy people.
Awesome greenhouse
Its got a nice, spacious grassy area surrounded by woodland . One maybe two(?Picnic tables. Friends and I enjoyed a nice barbeque dinner there. Plenty of room for the dogs to run around and have some fun too💞🐕 I love Balboa Park🌻
I realy enjoy ed watching the Sqiurells run aruond and play with each other .
The redwoods have been cut down due to them dying of insect infestations. Not a very lovely place to visit at all.
Timber!!! Another one bites the dust!!! 🔪 🌳= mulch
During the day, a nice place for a picnic. At night its a popular place for men to meet men.
Careful, this has become a pretty well established homeless camp.
A nice secluded part of Balboa Park to have a picnic. A lot of homeless congregate around the area unfortunately. They should rename it homeless circle.
Its yet another part if the park , this one is purely natural, and great place to just simply commune with nature
Never seen
Beautiful grove of old Coast Redwoods visible from the 163. Sadly, they have been left without enough water and are dying. See them while you still can!
