紅點桌邊飲 Redpoint Brewing Co. Taproom - Bar in Taipei, Taiwan
紅點桌邊飲 Redpoint Brewing Co. Taproom in Taipei
Description
beer is tasty. apple pie was awful.
The happy hour is only till 7pm. Many comments online state that it is until 8. Im not a big fried chicken fan but theirs is good. The beers are flavorful but with consistently low ABV. Hoping for some more interesting brews beyond the pale ale and IPAs and light stouts.
MoreProbably the best Bar in Taipei, especially at their happy hour prices. Food is great and the Red Point beer is amounts the best in Taiwan. Did I mention friendly staff…. What’s not to like. It is definitely more an American bar style over a Pub, but I won’t hold that against it!
MoreIts a best place in Taipei for beer. I like it. Quite spacious and co-operating staff members. Recommend it.
MoreIts hard for me to really explain how much I love the chicken wings at Redpoint because Ive never had ones like this before. They are so beefy that six is almost too much, so I usually get 12 and feast for the next few days at home. The beer is perfectly made and the service is top notch. I try to go to Redpoint Taproom as much as I can
MoreBeer is good, but a bit overpriced compared to the costs in Taiwan.Food is fine, nice that the kitchen is open late during the week. Taipei goes to bed early during the work week.Inside can be a bit dirty sometimes. Needs a good clean.Would be 4 stars if they had more drink specials.
MoreIts a great place to have delicious chicken wings and beer, dont forget the hot sauce if you enjoy a little bit of spiciness.I like the beer they provided, I tried 2 types and both of them are very aromatic and delicious.
MoreJust paid 10% service fee for two waiters to be on their phones during service. Had to call them over for orders three times, also left the menu on the table and had me get up to hand them the menus. Oh yeah you had to get your own water btw, take time to digesting that logic, of course by that time your food might be defrosted. Food was mediocre af, my partner got diarrhea. Paid 1200 for two burgers and an appetizer, what a waste :(
MoreOne of the best American food experience in Taipei, especially love their Reuben sandwich and nachos! Should definitely try their brewed beer as well!
MoreConsistently excellent service and the beer is *chefs kiss* 💋. I wish they had more to offer vegetarians, since there isnt much in terms of meal options. I ended up with garden salad while I longingly looked at my friends gyros and mac and cheese.
MoreYoud have to be a real nitpicker to give this place any fewer than 5 stars. Great beer, excellent service, and supremely good food.
MoreBy far the best in its category.- I tried almost all dishes in the menu on multiple visits and I was always more than pleased. In particular the seabass and the burgers make for a quite pleasing experience. Burgers are made with simple, good quality ingredients, never greasy nor dry, meat is mostly well cooked. No strange sauces or else, makes for a quite healthy experience.- Beers are really good. I adventured on some different ones over time but I am mostly stuck on one of their most known and now widely available IPAs.- Service is always good, polite and not pushy, except the rare occasion in which they seem to want you to go for a second glass...I deem that fairly part of the game.- Bathroom is very clean, no strange smells, no signs of dirt.- Tables overall properly distanced- Simple yet warm design. Makes you want to stay.- Eccellent price-quality ratio.Sole thing missing to me is a dine outside experience as those we get in Europe but for the rest i highly recommend it
MoreI primarily come here for their wing nights on Tuesdays. They do a great wing+beer combo that day and have a really vast selection of seasonal and regular beers. Their wings are lollipop style slathered in a tangy/hot BBQ sauce served with cucumbers and ranch. If you like wings and beer, this place should be on your list.
MoreAt least 10 different kind of beer to choose. Definitely have to try the Frenched chicken wings. Bloody addictive
MoreGreat brunch meals, like the blueberry pancakes and a sneaky beer and OJ will leave you satisfied until the evening when you can enjoy a line up of great draft beers. Bring back the strong cherry infused IPA. 🤤
MoreThe friendliest and most welcoming staff in Taipei!Great bar, locally brewed pints, tasty food and loads of Irish people for some reason. Highly recommended!
MoreThis restaurant offer good food, good beer and good vibes. The meals have big portions and seems to taste more authentic than other Western-style restaurants or beer bars. The drinks are also veru good since they sell beers in retail stores with the same name/brand. It is also good for large gatherings such as birthdays and company events since the space is a bit big but make sure to reserve ahead. They also have some cocktails and mixes but their beers are the highlight. English is available in their menu and there are some offerings daily that differ each day. Foreign credit card is accepted as a mode of payment.
MoreFirst time visit last night to celebrate a friend’s sendoff. Service was excellent by the staff on hand, courteous, efficient and polite despite a full house and our party of 20! Food was surprisingly good with the best Reuben I’ve had in Taipei and hot wings are worth returning for. Fun night and will revisit again.
MoreI love the Hazy IPA here and the staff are great. It’s a tasting room and run more like a restaurant than pub as apparently that fits more of local expectations. I really like going to the super happy hour the first hour of opening when it’s quieter and less busy. Fun place to occasionally meet people and go with friends or just enjoy a beer. Definitely recommend and the food is good too. My favorites are the cuban, reuben and nachos. Big enough portions to share as well.
MoreRedpoint accomodated a large birthday dinner party (28and handled everything seamlessly. We preordered our meals and were checked off as we came in. The food came quickly and was delicious as always. Drinks were delivered swiftly also. Great service!
MoreGreat selection of beers, and awesome wings, probably the best in Town!
Really an amazing place for foreigners in Taiwan and also Taiwanese 😍❤.The food is nice and also the atmosphere is calm and friendly. Just not spacious. Price of the food is affordable. Parking is just opposite from the place which is just splendid.
MoreNice brunch, friendly staff. Pretty good beer choice.
Great craft beer bar and restaurant with an excellent line of brews on tap as well as outstanding menu of western food. The Reuben is a must-have (make sure you come in with an empty stomach though). The Disco Macaw juicy pale ale is a personal favorite. Located within a 10-minute walk from Da-An MRT station.
MoreSome of the best beer Ive had in Taiwan! The food is also well worth the stop. If youre craving a break from Taiwan Gold, definitely take time for a visit.
MoreLove the place so much, good vibe, fantastic service!I love their beer and food a lot.
MoreService is great. They are helpful and kind. And as many commented already, the chicken .... (I had legs, not wingsare fabulous.Beer, red point locally brewed, is a welcome change to regular Taiwan beer.I will be back. Soon!
MoreLove the food and brew! Probably the best wings Ive had in a long time. Fantastic find!
MoreDelicious food with big portions, a lot of beers to select from and friendly service.
MoreI have been in this pub for the second time and I have not been disappointed. The choice of beers is very wide and their food is delicious. I have personally tried the house burger and I have to say that the meat was juicy exactly...as I like it. Good service and clean place. Good for a dinner or just a quick beer among friends.
MoreThe place offers a decent range of beers, all of which can be free to “taste” upon the customer’s request before making an order. The range of flavors ensures you find the type of beer you want. Additionally, there is great food to order if you feel hungry, including fries with steak pieces, garlic butter shrimps and cheese bacon tacos were just the few we had that night. However, be sure to stay away from whiskey. For some reason, the portion given for whiskey orders are a joke. The volume you get doesn’t even compete with a tequila shot! When we told the waitresses, nothing was done, so we returned the whiskey. The staff was also clueless why or what to do, but we carried on. The overall atmosphere of the bar is nice, with pretty good music to accompany late into the night.
MoreThe best chicken drumsticks I’ve ever had in Taipei so far. Very crowded on weekends so be patient if there’s no seat available. The craft beer options are great and they let you taste them before ordering! (I’ve asked other places and some of them don’t allow you to). Great food, staff and place. Definitely will go back.
MoreReally like this bar/restaurant. Nice craft beers and the vibe feels very western, if youre into that kind of thing. Prices are definitely on the higher side but food and drink definitely worth it in my opinion. One downside is that there arent a ton of seats so might want to call ahead for seating or go earlier.
MoreThis pumpkin beer was amazing. Fully recommended. Didnt have any food, but it smelled delicious
MoreGreat happy hour, tasty fresh draught craft beer at exceptional prices for Taipei.
MoreLarge choice of beer, price is ok. Maybe table outside would make it nice
Friendly and efficient service. Good menu. I had the garlic prawns complimented by the Tres Cerveceros Mexican Lager. Nice combo and very tasty. The Firefly Pils quenched my thirst after a walk from the Bannen Line station. Fujing?
MoreWorst experience. The promotion is a fraud— the waiter did not explain any rules in advance and the waitress just said they can do nothing when giving me the bill. Very loud. Bad service.
MoreVery comforting niche for an American missing home. Burger with cheddar cheese, bacon and mushrooms is the perfect combo. Alert! The party will come medium rare with quite a bit juicy redness. So if its not your preference specify medium well. Nachos were Awesome! The chili, cheese, or crispy chips delivered. Very friendly staff lives up to the 10%service charge.
MoreNice place with good craft beer selection and delicious food. The chicken drumsticks, chicken pita and mac and cheese were all great. Service was also very friendly.
MoreAttentive staff.Great tasting food.Pricing for beers and food is shockingly good for the location! Will be back to eat through the menu 💕💕💕
MoreGood craft beers although the lager was pretty ordinary. Really good happy hour prices between 5-8pm outside that beers are on the pricier side as expected for craft beers. Service was quite good.
MoreGreat sandwiches, fantastic beer, delicious dessert, and rock tunes to tie it all together! My favorite spot in Taipei.
MoreGreat food and craft beer! It’s a nice haven for westerns who are looking for a taste of familiar flavors. I’ve been there twice now and have been very impressed with the quality of food. I absolutely love the fried cauliflower and the apple cider sea bass is incredible. Probably one of the best meals I’ve had in Taipei! Went there on a Sunday and discovered they have trivia night the second Sunday of every month
MoreMy favorite place to go for the best American food. Pretty much every dish was amazing. Atmosphere is like a bar suitable to hangout with your buddies. Will definitely be back for more. Lets also not forget the wide range of red point craft beers. My fav beer is the disco macau.
MoreGreat beer, great food, friendly staff!
This place is off to a great start. Really comfortable seating, with a big open area and non-cramped seats. The high windows and mirrored walls gives the place a breathable vibe. They have a balanced range of beers with signature IPAs, some lighter easy drinking options and heavier stouts and porters. All are moderately priced and the option of "wee pints" and full pints. If youre a beer lover, this place needs to be on your list.
MoreSuper friendly barman (and brewer!Beers were all reasonably priced for craft brews, and the food was delicious. Would recommend Disco Macaw with some chicken wings and battered cauliflower
MoreGreat beers, great prices, amazing staff. Try the Reuben.
Great food. Great locally brewed beer. Good atmosphere.
