Red Satay in Moncton

Absolutely delicious, as always. My only complaint about this restaurant is their limited hours; there has been more than one occasion that we’ve wanted to go just to find they’re closed.

I ordered the Cantonese chow mein which I have had at different chains, the noodles were crispy and dry- essentially raw- and way too salty. Looked like a birds nest. I complained to the server immediately and had to order something else, instead of accommodating me they gave me a $2.50 discount on my $50 bill. To add insult to injury, I was seated at a small table with my partner and asked to be moved to one of the 3 empty booths. The server advised that he did not want to move us since it is Saturday night and he would like to save space for larger groups. After this, a couple (party of twowalked in and they were seated at the booth. I am really disappointed in the service and the disregard when I expressed I was unhappy with the dish.

Our family was from out of town and searched for restaurants with positive reviews. Red Satay did not disappoint! Jenny’s special was fantastic. Wonton broth was far from the usual chicken broth taste as well. Loy was a great host! Thank you!

Delicious! I had the Red Satay Pho with Shrimp and its my favorite Pho Ive had yet!

My husband had hot and sour soup that was chock full of vegetables and absolutely delicious. I had lemongrass chicken that was fantastically. Delicate in flavor. Absolutely terrific experience!!

Beautiful sooo tasty meal . We both had the Jenny Special and we were not disappointed. Loi was our host and he was so nice and friendly. Very busy but he took a few moments to chat. Highly recommend this restaurant. Quaint atmosphere.

Our favourite Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Moncton. Very tasty and yummy to eat again and again same kind of dish. Nice and cozy place for family/friend gathering

Love this place, food is always amazing, and very consistent, in flavour & portions, but the real hit for the 5 star rating for me is the staff, always friendly, very attentive. Could not ask for better.

Had ordered Saigon special delighr, all of the ingredients/toppings are so fresh, tasty,. I’d like to rate 5 stars for the soup of this course, as it’s so addictive and savoury. Staffs are so friendly. Definitely the best Vietnamese restaurants in town.Highly recommend 👍👍👍

Came to this restaurant and enjoyed Jenny Special. I couldnt believe how delicious it was! The staffs service was also top notch. Thanks guys for all. Best restaurant ever, trust me. 100% recommend this!!

Had their Chicken Pho, it was delicious and the taste just like the authentic Vietnamese food that I had tried when traveling there. Nice service and atmosphere, cannot expect more, definitely visit again.Highly recommend

Placed an order for red satay chicken stir fry and it was absolutely disgusting. Never have I ordered stir-fry and it comes with no sauce. The rice was clumpy and the vegetables tasted like they were soaked in Lysol. Worse $20 ever spent. Will never be going back

Had takeout pho for dinner! Love how they separate all ingredients so the noodles arent too soft and everything stays fresh! Delicious as always.

Just ordered off skip the dishes. The forgot one of the meals, we called and said they were too busy to send replacement meal?? So we are one meal short and the food that was sent was underwhelming.

First time visiting and even though they were very busy the service was very quick the staff friendly. I had the curry chicken with fried rice and it took me back to my local takeaway back in the UK amazing food will definitely be back.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The Jenny special is always a go to. The spicy seafood pho is my all time favorite. Anything on their menu is fantastic!Downtown location is smaller so I usually grab and go from here. The one in Dieppe is a larger restaurant so find it easier to dine in.HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!

We could me from a place near Ottawa and any time we can meet me here this is our go to place. The best food ever and the service is always great. Jennys - The Works is the best

The food was yummy. Ordered by phone and went to pick it up. It was waiting for me at the door. Good social distancing protocols. Would be a challenge to eat in at this location right now as it has a small dining room.

Always amazing, the Red Satay at Red Satay never disappoints very tasty and just enough spicy!

I am a Vietnamese cook with super easy taste palette and I find the restaurant have the most authentic flavour of Vietnamese food (Southern Vietnamese), and the food is delicious.No super salty, no super sweet like some of South East Asian restaurants here. Just the right combination of every flavours.Maybe it just depends on my taste, but it seems there are quite many people here whom also has the same taste as mine.

What a disappointment after seeing all these great reviews. The folks here dont know good food. We ordered through Skip and I guess we are super spoiled with the quality of food in Vancouver. The food here was really not that good. The rice wrapper rolls were the tiniest things weve ever seen. The soup was so-so and too salty. Maybe some MSG as well. Glad we didnt order more. No value for your money.

I loved the authenticity of Red Satay .. the food was delicious and the service was outstanding!! I had the shrimp spring rolls which were delicious. Try the Bubble Tea

26 dollar, I have to buy a burger another place to fill me stomach. The size good for girls. The soup taste was not bad for sure but little too salty for me. Fresh shirmp roll skin was too dry. Not recommended.

One of the best Pho soups I had in my life.( forgot to take a picture of itbut here is my favorite dessert. Fried bananas with mango icecream. Their staff is friendly and know their food if you need to ask details about the dishes they can break it down what is what. If you like Vietnamese, @redsatay is the place to go.

Nice to see that Moncton has legitimate Vietnamese food. Had the rice with grilled purchased pork, chicken and shrimp Would eat there again. Wish I had time to try more on the menu.

Our group had a variety of dishes from Thai style Pad Thai, Chinese chow mein, red satay, the famous Jenny bowl and it was all fantastic! Flavourful, good quality ingredients and a very nice server. Our group of 4 all enjoyed their meals immensely. Highly recommended.

Best food ever. Jenny special on vermacelli with extra fish sauce. I would eat it every day if I could. Restaurant is small so I usually get take out but it is always amazing. Staff is always friendly, food is still warm by the time I get it home.

My son insisted we go here. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste, quality and quantity of the food. There was more variety in the menu than I expected as well. Service was good. This was the St George location which I hear is no longer associated with the Dieppe location

Hands down my favorite place to eat in the city. Is a bit of a wait when you eat at the St. George location. The Dieppe location is beautiful, albeit a bit out of the way. Jenny Special is a favorite dish.

Disappointing experience. New to town and expected so much more considering the locals reviews of this place. Cheap ingredients, poor portions, little to no flavour. Do not recommend if you are used to proper Vietnamese barbecue.

Horrid service every single time I eat here. Never an apology.Have ordered 2 of the same dish and received one cold, one hot, after a very long wait while other tables, seated after us, were fed and departed. Complaints were shrugged off by the server and a person who I assume was a manager.Despite that, the food is very good.

This place consistently rocks! Been there many times and never disappointed. Pork spring rolls, Noodle Pho, and Jenny Special are favorites. Ive seen the owners eat their dinner there so you know thats a good sign...highly recommend!

The beef was delicious, rice dry (no sauce addedhad to ask for soy sauce. The other plate was served with rice instead of noodles. No salad dressing available for the salad. The white tea was forgotten by the server and only got it at the end of the meal when we inquired about it.

Friendly staff. Prices are probably reasonable or a little higher side, dont know about similar places on this area, so dont want to make a confident statement. Some dishes were really good, some were average. All in all not really bad. Street parking.

I had a nice lunch there. I had an amazing waiter he was fantastic. The pho I had was good, but I have had better. People that were there said the pad Thai was amazing, definitely worth a try!

Amazing food. Fresh and light. Awesome gluten free items. A favourite is the Jennys Special and the chicken and veggie stir fry!

Great Vietnamese restaurant! Ive been many times and am always very satisfied. Jennys Special and the Beef Curry are my two favorite meals on the menu. Enjoy!

The food is delishious! Best Pho ever!

Not sure why I hadnt tried this place sooner. The food is fantastic with a wide variety of menu items for everyones tastes. Friendly service. Only criticism is that tables are so close to one another, and directly beside each other. This could be remedied by staggering the tables just a bit so that were not directly beside each other.

I have yet to find a better Pho in Moncton and elsewhere.

Our fav spot to eat in Moncton, take out or eat in, Food is great, Service is awesome and the price isnt out of this world, plus you get a big portion ! Jenny special is our go to but the Pho soup is great also !

Went for my first time tonight and will be back for sure. Food was awesome! Everything was fresh and tasty. Had the Jenny and will have it again. Couldnt finish it, but couldnt help picking at it until the waiter came and got it.

Best pork Spring Rolls in the city. Their Red Satay Chicken Noodle Pho soup is second to none. And I always love a good "Jenny" special. You wont be disappointed. Its always packed at lunch and usually busy at dinner. Reservations STRONGLY recommended.
