Red Platter - Restaurant in Naga, Philippines
The dinner dishes they served are very palatable. The cake they served is great as it is not so sweet
The food here taste really great! One of the Nagas finest restaurant.
It was my first-time to eat Laing, and I must say they did not disappoint. The food is superb even the drinks are lovely. Must try their inihaw na liempo, crispy pata, salted egg chicken, sinigang na salmon and laing. It will definitely make your day.
Location is excelent .Clean, nice place. waiters need more training to be to attentive customer needs. Overall service average, Food is good but pricy. Parking is ok, toilet need to fix roof leak.
Birthdaday party for my daughter. Good food. We could not eat all so we had to take out. They have many different cakes. Nice and helpfull staff
Great eating place with friends and familes. Wide assortment of meals.
Favorite place of my family. Serves good food. Must try Bicol Best
This restaurant made us starve. We followed up 3 times yet they served us the food after 1 hour tho the restaurant had only 3 tables to serve that time so it wasn’t full. Buko juice took more than 1 hr to be served, they didn’t even give us any complimentary for waiting that long. The food is mediocre.
They can definitely work on their serving time especially during special occasions.
great foods.best karekare Ive had so far..
great food and the crew are nice and well mannered
Food: great! Staff: friendly and helpful. Ambience: slick and simple. Price: reasonable
The food was superb! Ambience was cozy.
All of the foods we ordered are all recommendable
Love the food! Recipes are tried and tested, executed perfectly by the kitchen staff!Strongly recommend their Crispy Pasta! Crispy skin with the right amount of gelatinous layer beneath, with fork tender meat. The sauce it comes with, pushes the dish to the next level. I will definitely come back! 5 out of 5!Other dishes we ordered:Bicol express - This ones authentic, served in a small portion, more like a side dish. 4 out of 5.Camaron - This was so-so. 3 out of 5.Kare-kare - Flavor is okay but the beef tenderness isnt consistent. Bagoong it came with rates higher. 3 out of 3 for the combo.Beef nachos - Its simply nacho chips with beef and cheese, no fancy add ons here BUT it works. 3.5 out of 5.Other things to note: Service is courteous but takes awhile for food to get here (we did come during a busy dinner service).
Food is okay but a little expensive. Service is also not that good for being that expensive
Offers good foods..
Both of us developed food poisoning. Very tasty otherwise.
Food was great as usual
very delicious food and have a good quality.
Its good to be able to dine together with my family and relatives together. Im hoping Pandemic will be soon over.11-13-2021
👍
Sabaw or broth should be free. Lots of it. The squid was tough but delicious. Paella did not taste the old fashioned way or not kapampangan. Ambiance was spectacular. They never tried to appease my request of a slice or even half of the pistachio sans rival. I dont want a whole cake. Well trained staff but the sans rival.
If there were such a thing as the pearl of Naga City, then Red Platter would clearly own it.Embedded in a villa on Magsaysay Avenue, with an attractive outside appearance and a homey atmosphere inside, it invites to eat and relax. Its staff is well trained, pleasant and professional. What more, they have been perfectly consistent throughout the years. The dishes served are created and prepared to a high degree of perfection. And the desserts offered top it still.Every time a wonderful experience.
The food is so delicious and the place looks so fancy. Would definitely want to try each of their cuisine.
Loved it here! First Pinanngat! With cakes to go 😊
We always get our cakes here and recently order food from here for celebrations. They have honest to goodness comfort food that may have come from your lolas kitchen. The food quality is consistently good
A very delicious various of food you have Red Platter! It is indeed a very good place to celebrate family reunions, gatherings, celebrations, etc! Fantastic cakes also, Its all unique and tasty! Especially the carrot cake❤ The venue is comfortable and chic, I recommend Red Platter to anyone who loves to enjoy food while with their loved ones! Keep it up! Oustanding restaurant! 👍🔥
Great experience! Tasty food, great ambiance & rwasonable price. Love their cakes & the "halo halo sa buco"! Their mango tango cake is their version of Contis mango bravo but I love their carrot cake which is fully loaded!! First time to be here & immediately came back after two days. 👍👍😊
I went here last night for my moms birthday celebration. The place is indeed homey. This will definitely suit groups of families and friends who wish to eat out and have authentic Filipino-Bikolano dishes. If you have eaten in Mesa Filipino Moderne Restaurant in Manila, theyre almost similar in terms of cuisine offered and are on par with their understandable prices.Im glad I did a reservation and made an advance order two days prior (I called their mobile number - their landline numbers do not workbecause there were large groups who came in as well. A night before, they also sent me a message to confirm my reservation which I appreciate a lot. They also allowed me to bring (not eat, of coursean outside cake for my mom so we can sing her a happy birthday. I chose not to buy the birthday cake from Red Platter as I find their cakes expensive. I dont want to take a risk too as I havent really tried any of their cakes yet.I can say that all of the dishes we ordered were delicious, most especially the Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata, and Sinigang na Salmon Belly. We have picky eaters in our group but they totally enjoyed the food.We also bought Choco Dome cakes for dessert but we did not like it - overpowering sweetness and the wet textured filling did not really suit our taste.Their servers, however, lack focus and urgency. We went there 5 minutes earlier from our reservation time and there were still a few customers in. We waited for 15 minutes despite upfrontly saying that we called in. We were not accomodated until I vehemently called again one servers attention. They were not quick to answer anyones requests and we often see them standing and staring blankly at nowhere. But so far, I did like it here mainly because of the dishes. Ill probably be back.
Their cheesecake is delish. I love the matcha cake too.
I love their cakes! Way too good/better than the pastries from Goldilocks, Bakers Plaza, Red Ribbon and Caramel. The quality, taste, and texture of their cakes are almost the same with Rafabels. Their Pilinut cookies are so good!
An amazing place to eat while in Naga City! I say bring some pips to share and enjoy! The carrot cake tho!😋😋
Delicious food -- ordered classics such as Beef Kare-Kare and Sinigang na Salmon Belly. We loved it! Service was great too. This is a must-visit restaurant when in Naga.
Great Food... Satisfied Tommy.... Cozy place wonderful atmosphere...😍
We are on vacation from Los Angeles and staying nearby. We were looking for a decent dine in place and decided to try Red Platter.Food is very tasteful. We started with Calamari and I had Buko Shake. We had Pancit Guisdo, Crispy Pata and Java rice for our main course. The Buko shake was perfectly blended and the CrispyPata was crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside.Service was also very good.I definitely recommend this place.
Went to Red Platter and they no longer have cherry cookies. Loved them. Bought the pili cookies. Terrible. No taste and overpriced. They Changed packaging to plastic container. Stop polluting!Won’t be back.
Best place to experience bicolano dishes. Food are really tasty. A bit expensive but all worth it. If you come as a group, better order their group meals to save money. Their cakes are to die for.Resto is chic and instagram-able. Staff are courteous and friendly. Parking spaces are available but limited. Wifi is free and fast.
They bring in the traditional Bicol favorites but comes in with a price for its quantity ratio. Some of their dishes like the pork liempo felt nothing like barbecue that is supposed to be and just pure grease. We ended up paying 2k pesos (~$40split among 4 people, although there were leftovers. The ambiance is good for the price but not the serving and the overall tastes.
Pricey! But definitely good food. None of the food they served us was subpar. Definitely a must-eat-at. There was a mix up in our orders one of the 2 times I ate there, but they were accommodating about it. Service is good.
Good food. Great desserts.
The food is great! I highly recommend the crispy pata, inihaw na pusit, gambas and laing. The food was served quickly. They have ample parking space and the place is neat and cozy.
I was recommended this restaurant many times and my wife and I finally ate there. The food was delicious. Im a spaghetti lover and I didnt buy what they sell most. Next time Ill try there best sellers. The spaghetti was great.
Nice place, good food but nothing out of the ordinary especially for the prices.
Must try when in Naga! Food, cakes, and ambiance are winners! 😊
Red Platter is a semi-fine dining restaurant in Naga City offering Western, Asian and Bicolano cuisines as well as a sumptuous array of cakes, cookies, desserts, and other sweet treats for which the restaurant has become duly famous... I love the blueberry cheesecake and mango tango for the dessert. The pizza is the best we order the red platter pizza my daughter love it. She is a pizza lover.
Great staff and excellent food!I suggest you eat by group here. Their servings are good for 3 to 5 persons. Havent tried all, yet, but so far their Lechon Kawali is heavenly. I ate with a friend who lives here in Naga and told me that their Kare-kare is also amazing. The place reminds me of home. Very cozy. The design is quaint but good. The staff if very accommodating and friendly. They also respond fast to clients requests.
I thought I was at someones cozy home. This was my initial impression of the place because of its design and mood. The people who eat here are either families or groups who would share good filipino food and desserts together. They have a lot of different dishes so theres one for everybody.Oh and they also offer some baked goodies for munchies or as pasalubong.
We went here for dessert and it did not disappoint! The ambiance is great too. Had lots of fun with my friends!
One of my favorite restaurants in Naga City. Food is simply great! Though on the more expensive side, youll surely get the value for your money. From their viands to their desserts, everything is just delicious.
