This down-to-earth, wood-paneled motor inn is 2 miles from both Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and Glenwood Hot Springs Pool.Accessed via exterior corridors, the pared-down rooms have TVs and free Wi-Fi, as well as microwaves and minifridges. Cabins add full kitchens, and some have fireplaces.Parking and basic continental breakfast are complimentary. There's a seasonal heated outdoor pool and a hot tub, in addition to a picnic area with BBQs, and a coin-operated laundry.
One of the most inexpensive and very quiet, clean and nice hotels in Glenwood Springs! We’ve stayed twice and both times had a great time. Thank you for keeping your prices reasonable and affordable.
We upgraded for a small fee to the cabin . It was well worth it . With a small well stocked kitchen and a BBQ outside ❤️
The absolute best, love Eric hes so nice a really handsome
This place is quiet, friendly, and for a last minute stay, surprisingly perfect. The cleaning staff does a great job. Quite comfortable for a 2 star hotel. Thank you to Megan for mailing me the water canteen that I left and can’t live without!
Great value! Family run business and they are very helpful and kind. Stayed here twice now and always a good experience!
Excellent place, kinda expensive but worth it. Beautiful little cottage type rooms with a beautiful view of the River (Coloradoand mountains. Wonderful staff. I stayed extra days it was so nice and relaxing.
Great place, lady helped me tremendously, for a great price. Booked very last minute during the snow storm. Clean for sure! The bed does need replaced you can see where they sleep. But definitely would come back. 😊
Great place. We always try to stay here when we come to Glenwood because its clean, reasonably priced and offers a variety of room options. The owner is very nice and accommodating. The morning view of Red Mountain is hard to beat.
Wonderful - happily accommodated our trailer & dog. Luis was friendly , profession and welcoming. He went out of his way to helpUs. The decor & furniture are old but everything was really clean. Would stay again .
I’ve stayed here Twice and both times they’ve been so accommodating and friendly! I can’t stress enough how great this place is and their people. Prices can’t get any better than this. I seriously love you guys and will definitely come stay here again!Huge Thank you to Julie and the young guy with glasses !
Julie was great and made checking in easy 😀 I love how dog friendly they are and let us know of the dog area. The rooms were clean and I appreciated easy access to my car. Ive stayed at other hotels nearby and ended up coming back. Also, love that the pool isl open!
We always enjoy staying at Red Mountain Inn. The rooms are always nice and clean and reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating!! Would definitely recommend this place!!
This is a basic, no frills motel. I will give the place 4 stars because the room was clean and the staff was friendly. However, I found the price to be more than I would expect to pay for this type of place, and the neighborhood was not the best.
"to better serve our customers were no longer offering breakfast". That makes zero sense. Staff was friendly but the room was gross. The retro movie theater-type carpet was like 50 years old and uncomfortable. The kitchen faucet wouldnt shut off completely. I like how we had an oven stove and little kitchen but the rooms were outdated. Pool was cold. You can also hear I-70 interstate from the room.
What an unexpected GEM ! All the staff were kind, friendly and calm. You could see and feel the pride of ownership. Clean large room with everything one could need. Quiet, even tho we had units on either side of us. I didnt use the pool but it was clean and the water was warm. They even had an in ground toddler pool. Nice grassy, shaded area for our dog. Washer and dryer worked well. Easy access from I70 yet quiet and 5 minutes from the hot springs pool and town center. Easy and friendly check-in and check-out. A great value for the location and all that is offered. I will definitely use their business again!
Great place to stay, great on the budget with an outdoor pool & nice sized hot tub. My room was $100.00 with cable TV, flat screen, small fridge, microwave, wifi, table & chair. All the people were great even the guests I encountered! Love this place. Your dollar goes a long way here!
This is away from the tourist mess which is worth it. Little cabins connected to each other or standard rooms. Pool is great bonus if you are not looking for the hot springs experience. Dont recommend the cabins right next to the pool unless you enjoy screaming kids until 10pm. Our cabin had a bad fridge which resulted in some spoiled food. We let them know when we left. We will go back!
My mom and I came up to Glenwood Springs for a small memorial service for her husband. She’s in a motorized chair, and they were able to accommodate us, and her dog Milo! Comfortably. We came upon a slight problem during the visit, but after speaking to the front desk and one of the lovely housekeepers, the issue was quickly and sufficiently resolved.I don’t mind problems, I mind how they’re responded to, and the staff was excellent! From the first phone call setting up the reservation, to the lovely farewells. We’ll definitely be back, and recommend it.Thank you! Kindly!Mom and Son
Freaking awesome place. I wouldnt even call this a hotel. Its more like cabin camping. We stayed here on a trip from Ca to Ia but I would love to come stay here and explore Colorado. Price is very fair and various activities are within reach.
This place was adequate for the price. If you are looking for a comfortable bed, then look somewhere else. These were as close to boxes covered with sheets you can get. The place caters to a wide variety of individuals, some staying up really late into the night, although they were somewhat quiet. The manager was fantastic though and was accommodating. All in all an adequate place.
Rooms for great prices and very friendly staff, however the room couldve been cleaner as we were going to bed the first night we found mouse poop on the bed. And my partner sliced open his hand because the knife provided was extremely dull. Overall it was a good experience and it would be a good place to bring a family but just dont expect perfection.
Very very affordable and we stayed in a cabin. Everything you could possibly need was in the cabin including dishes cause ours had a full kitchen. We were put right next to the pet area because we had our pups with us. The town is tucked away off of 70 but has everything you need. You wake up go outside and the air is crisp and clean, you are surrounded by mountains. The experience was one of the best on our 3 week vacation. The hotel staff are kind and courteous and tell you anything you need just let them know! If they had a higher rating Id give it!
We stayed in a cabin because my reservation was not ready after requesting an early check in and still checking in after their check in time requested 12:30 got here at 1:15 it wasnt ready, so they gave my room away as we waited. I was moved rooms because of this. This room was supposed to be a complimentary up grade which I paid for. Well the heat did not work. All night we froze I paid to stay in a heated room and all I got was basically a hut. The temperature dropped to 40°, mind you I have my infant, under the age of 1, and my 6 year old. When we called the next morning since you cant get help after 9, amd the best julie, the manager, could do for me was a 10 off my next stay. I was a very loyal person here. And the saddest part is I will nO longer stay or recommend this place to anyone. This is all due to the fact that the people who run this place dont care about the guests and only the over priced rooms you stay in. Motel 6 hasbetter service
Can’t speak for the actual hotel portion but the cabins are amazing for the price. Clean kitchen with full fridge and oven/stove. Fireplace with wood ready to burn. Hot tub was a great temp. And the staff is great to boot. 10/10 thanks for the great stay
Roomy accommodations...lots of space. Mattress very comfortable. Pillows average at best. Very friendly and helpful desk staff. TV quality not very good in the age of HD. Convenient location and quick access to Highway 70. Overall a good deal! Glad I found it
Always enjoy my stays at Red Mountain Inn. The service is always spot on, friendly and caring. Their team talks to you and asks how you are. The value is awesome and even more so, their prices cannot be beat! I highly recommend my friends at Red Mountain Inn!!
Awesome room for the price! Summer night in room #100 which is a king room with a living area and hide a bed that cost $129 & I think $15 per dog pet fee. After everything is added together total was $171 for the night after taxes and dog fees. Many other places are $200 plus per night with the dogs. We brought our two large breed dogs. The room comes with a fridge, which currently does not refrigerate very well, but the freezer works great. A microwave is a nice perk. WiFi with a password included. Room #100 is located next to the pool and hot tub and has a picnic table just outside.
Stayed here many times in previous years so I was excited to go back. It was very buggy and not very clean. Bed was so hard we could not sleep. Left a day early it was so uncomfortable and we rented a cabin which was a little pricer. Sad to say we will not be returning.
We rented one of the cottages. There were bugs inside the cottage as well as out. The bed was very hard and the pillows were terrible. Neither of us got a decent night sleep in three nights. The cottage was not kept up well. Inside hasnt been painted in years and most of the screens had holes in them. Spiders in our bedroom. Worst place Ive ever stayed.
I rate this inn a 1 star. We booked a non smoking area. When we got there people next door were smoking weed. Also when we stayed we had to leave the lights on at night due to the bed bugs. Bath tub was dirty. I didnt say anything because it was late at night and we were just there for a night and we had our three kids who were very tired. But I would never book again here.
This is the second time I stayed here and it has never failed. I always get one of the cabins because it is stand alone and has its own patio. The customer service is on top of things. Megan was very accommodating and helpful with the hot tub. Asked for a late check out and didnt have to leave til noon. Nice way to enjoy my last day off
We found this place by chance: After a long day of driving, we wanted a hotel that allowed dogs and smoking. We ended up with a sweet cabin featuring a full kitchen, that was one of the cleanest Ive experienced. The dog area is small but gets the job done. The hot tub is beautiful AND there was no one else using it. Even without all that though, the view made it worth the money.
I love this place! We stay every year around our anniversary. Our first visit we happened to stay beacuse its dog friendly and has a dog area for our fur baby! The only reason for the four stars is that it needs a little upgrading. They have done a few things to spruce it up since our last visits but if you stay here stay in the cabins, feels more like home than a hotel! We will be back each year mainly for the accommodations but also the staff is so nice and helpful!
I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. It was completely spotless, even the bathroom was sparkling. The room was spacious with a big and very comfortable bed. The front desk staff were super helpful and totally friendly. I really enjoyed my visit here and will absolutely stay here next time Im in Glenwood Springs. I would recommend the Red Mountain Inn to anyone who enjoys a quiet comfy room and friendly service. Five stars!
We had a great time! I booked our room here because of the decent prices and so many reviews of how clean the place is!! It was super clean, the bathroom was pristine. Sure the decorating is a little out of date but you can’t beat clean. We had an issue with our tv at first but it was fixed immediately! Room was spacious and I slept comfortably on the bed, my friend and I needed one night to sleep while we were in town and we’d both recommend. The front desk staff is SO nice!! Anytime we came in they were smiling and welcoming. I could tell they really take care of their guests and hotel. Don’t let the cheaper price fool you. I’ve stayed at the hotel Colorado and felt the red mountain inn was cleaner definitely!! Would absolutely stay there again.
We stayed here for a family reunion. An older place. The pool was nice. Breakfast was just muffins and donuts and some fruit. The coffee was good. You have to ask if you want an in-room coffee maker. We couldnt use our air conditioner because it smelled like maybe mice had been in there. It was clean in the room otherwise. Mostly everyone liked it here. Think our family got the room that was not in the best shape. But we couldnt change it, due to it being full of family. The folks at the front desk were really nice and helpful.
We had our family reunion there June 24-28 and could not of picked a better place. Julie and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating no matter what we needed. Pet friendly, clean rooms and good location for all we wanted to do. I highly recommend them
Spacious room, comfy beds, clean, central air, quiet. The breakfast could be called a light continental breakfast but they had great coffee. Pool and hot tub. Right next to a local staple restaurant and a mini golf place. Id stay here again.
I enjoyed my stay, however I requested early checkin- apparently the housekeeper was the one I was speaking to- and she said that Id have to wait until 11 to see if that was possible- got there and spoke to the manager, who was LIVID, who said she was just "too lazy to clean it earlier than usual" and said he had had the room ready for me since 9 am. Lazy housekeeper...wasted 2 hours of my day. Also, dog friendly, but the area for the dogs is simply a small patch of glass about the size of my hotel room, not even enclosed or fencing of any kind, leading right into someones backyard.
Cat friendly motel! I searched for hours for somewhere I could stay the night on a cross country move with two cats during spring break. It was hard to find somewhere to stay but finding Red Mountain Inn was amazing. I made the reservation a week and a half before our stay. They were willing to have me stay with both of my declawed cats for the night AND worked with me even though we were getting to the motel after their business hours. The room was clean, not just "pet friendly hotel" level clean. The bed was firm, but comfortable. I would be happy to stay here again.
Love this place! Super clean kitchenettes. Full oven and fridge. Really big rooms. Much bigger than all the other big names. I traveled and worked throughout 38 states. This is by far a phenomenal hotel. Megan helped me at the front desk. She very attentive, assertive and upfront. No hidden fees or anything. Shes great personnel for a great hotel. Two thumbs way up!!
I actually stayed here for 7 days while being evacuated during a wildfire. Only vacancy in town is the only reason why.My keepsake I have from them is, all of my socks turned black from the carpet in the rooms. No amount of bleach and washing would get them clean. Then there was a colony of ants that were all over, even on the bed!The owner lives on site, and is the rudest person I ever met. The other staff speaks no English, so you cant ask any questions. The rooms are your usual low budget type. Breakfast was old doughnuts. They hate pets but do allow them. Outdoor pool. Good location. I would never return there.
Such an adorable little hotel! Our room was very clean and neat, the staff was friendly and the location is awesome. Less than a 2 minute drive from the hot springs, adventure park and downtown. Plus they allow dogs! We didnt try out the hot tub this trip but we were told at check in of one. :-)*UPDATE*We came back this year (Oct 18and still couldnt be happier! This time we rented one of their rooms with a fireplace which was such a nice, cozy touch. They even provided the firewood, matches and paper to start the fire with. The room also had a full kitchen complete with dinnerware, pots and pans, utensils including cooking and even dish soap and a scrubber. Everything you would need! Room service is very detailed which made coming back from a busy day very comfortable. Room was clean and every staff member we ran into was friendly. This will be our go to place to call home for our family vacations ^_^
I stayed here a few weeks ago, and about 9:00 at night, I found ants in my bed. That would normally warrant a 1 star review, right? Not this time. I caught the night manager just as she was leaving and explained the situation. She was super apologetic and Immediately switched rooms for me. She was so polite and helpful despite the fact that she was nearly out the door for the night that Ill definitely be recommending this place to anyone needing a cheaper place to stay in the Glenwood Springs area! Heres to you, night manager!
This place is amazing! The location is very convenient as it is close to the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and the Iron Mountain Hot Springs. The room was nice and the free breakfast added to the wonderful stay. The only thing that concerned me a bit is that we found an ant here and there in our kitchen and the kitchen window had a dead bee in it. But otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel!
Clean rooms, excellent service. Definitely had a beautiful view of the mountains and very close to convenience stores for daily needs. We did buy our passes for the hot springs from the front desk and received a discount, so we were very happy about that as well.
We stayed here on our way home to Oregon from Illinois. It was amazing! Very friendly owners. We decided to stay in a 2 bedroom cottage to have room and get some good sleep after being crammed in a small car and motel 6. We were delighted that it was so warm and inviting! The kitchen has more items than we were able to use as we were just overnighting it. Also, a cute little private back patio with a bbq! We are planning to come here for our honeymoon next year because its just that awesome! Plus, they are dog friendly! I highly recommend this place.
Its a nice, quiet little getaway! The Red Mountain Inn is an older group of cabins close to i70. But the proximity to the highway doesnt mean traffic noise! The little time we spent there, we didnt hear anything from inside the cabin. Although the cabins are a little dated, they are very well kept, and super clean. The bed was nice, and plenty of nice pillows provided. We were able to utilize the provided charcoal grill outside most cabins, it was in good repair, and they even include grill brushes to clean the grill with which is a nice touch. It was hot during our stay, but inside was nice and cool thanks the well placed and quite a/c unit. We had forgotten our towels as we intended on going to the hot springs and stopped to ask the receptionist if we could borrow some... Initially they said their policy is to not lend towels because they get lost, but she checked with her boss and gave them to us anyway. We really didnt expect that as we understood that that could become a problem if everyone did it, but that nice personal touch made us think even more highly of the already friendly staff.Overall, our stay at Red Mountain Inn was great, and we would stay there again if we have the opportunity!
There was only one smoking room available and we took it because it was late. The desk guy said they had deep cleaned it that day, but within minutes of walking on the carpet my daughters feet were black. The staff were mostly very nice, but the room was gross. Parking is also a little tight with anything in tow or a bigger vehicle.
It took us a few years of coming to Glenwood before discovering the Red Mountain Inn, but we stay here several times a year now and no where else. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms have a variety of sizes and are always clean. Our kids love the pool and hot tub and is a nice alternative to not having to go the the hot springs every day were here. No doubt, the best value in Glenwood.
