Red Mountain Expresso in Hoover

I am a coffee critic. And I have to say my white mocha with oatmilk today was on point and was so delicious 😋 Thank you for serving great coffee. Wish I lived closer 😪

This place was awesome. The employees were super sweet and so kind. Beautiful people and good food and coffee.

Cute little spot and always convenient because you can only drive up. There are food options too! Their favorites all seem tasty but I’ve only had one so far! I willDef be back when I’m on the go!

I had coffee here twice while in town! It was so good! The Vulcan was delicious and the young ladies at the window were a joy. Very friendly employees and the coffee, well... wonderful!

Their service is the best it is literally my first stop in the morning, every morning. And my pup Radar always gets a treat, he’s always excited to see them!

This is my most favorite place! The owner, manager, and employees are so friendly, the coffee is great, and the sausage and pimento cheese biscuits are amazing! I have to try not to go every day! The only negatives for me are: 1it’s drive through only, so if I want to sit and work at a coffee shop which I do sometimes, I don’t get my Red Mountain Expresso that day - bummer! 2they close more often than most places - like entire holiday weekends (even Mother’s Day, Fathers Day etc. I think Thanksgiving they are closed 4-5 days and they closed the week between Christmas and NY this past year). Im not complaining that they are probably just taking care of employees to allow time off - but it still stinks for us who love our coffee! They do a good job of posting a sign in advance of closing though. I am hopeful the being closed every Sunday that they’ve done this month isn’t permanent! I’d die!

I’ve eaten here for so long and I love the food but today as I was eating my sandwich a larva fell out of the bite I had just taken. I called and they are checking the food and giving me a refund.

Closed during the only time im in town. Flew home from Canada for the holidays; thought i would visit here as i used to love it. Only to see horrible excuses as to why theyre closed for two weeks.

Star-who?? We come here often and are hooked! I love ordering the “pimausage” biscuit. The girl (don’t know her name, blonde hairat the window was super friendly and asked about our holiday plans. We had a terrible morning until then and she turned it around. It’s the little things like that which make the biggest difference for us.

I love this drive thru. The coffee is so good. The people are always so friendly and the service is fast. They get my order right every time and never neglect to wish me a great day.

Very disappointed. We love supporting small businesses so we were glad to give Red Mtn a try! The girls were friendly, but when my mom asked what flavors they had the cashier just said, "well, theres a lot." Ok....could you maybe just tell us a few? 🤔 I got a Frappe and it was waaay too sweet to drink. It tasted like they just put really sweet creamer and ice in a blender minus the coffee. The 2 hot coffees we got had a good flavor, except for the coffee. It tasted like they poured it out of a pot that had been sitting there all day. We ended up pouring all 3 out. I saw some reviews that were good, so maybe we just hit it on a bad day. Regardless, we probably wont chance wasting our $ again.

The best drive thru coffee place in Birmingham. Their signature lattes, especially the Hollywood, are delicious. I highly recommend the pimento cheese and sausage (“pimausage” is the insider name for itbiscuit.The only bad thing about the place is getting in and out with the traffic. The place is mostly staffed with high school and college age students, who have exceptional customer service skills.Wish they had a few more locations around town.

A cute little coffee house with AMAZING coffee! I got the "Hollywood" iced cause it was hot outside. The staff was patient (lots of choicesand friendly. It was a little pricey about $5.10 for a large but worth it

Rude as hell when your in line and they walk 3 cars back to give someone there drunk before the people waiting. I’ll never return

got a mocha frappe and it was slightly sweet with a wonderful coffee flavor! Perfectly what I was looking for on a hot summer day!

Stopped by for the first time this morning and I have to say they have the best coffee. I got a iced vanilla coffee and it was so good. Will definitely be back. Wonderful and friendly service as well.

They were so nice and fast, they even gave me an alternative to eat my cheese and sausage biscuit with a Hawaiian roll because they didnt have their biscuits ready so it was really good.

I stopped by and grabbed a vulcan frappe. It was so sweet that I couldnt drink it. The service was great. Really wish I couldve treated espresso in the beverage or taken more than a sip. Happy to have supported local nonetheless.

**AVOID IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR FAMILY IS AT RISK. STAFF DOES NOT WEAR MASKS** I am very dissapointed in this coffee shop. Ive been going here for years, but I stopped by this morning for the first time in months and was shocked that the barista wasnt wearing a mask. I asked and was told no one was. I guess its my mistake for thinking theyd be taking basic precautions during a pandemic, and for not just making coffee at home.

First time to drive-up. (Last time I was nearby, it was closedTastes like good, quality coffee. I believe I had the "Hollywood" made with skim. Made in my own 20+ oz travel mug, it was a little on the too sweet for me. It was not Starbucks sweet. Quick service for no microphone at the menu board & being close to end of day for the coffee shack.*First time at a new coffee shop, I order an item as they would normally make it (except for my milk choice). Upon returning, I will customize to more to my preference. This normally means half the flavored syrups & often an extra shot of espresso.

Cheaper, better, faster, and more convenient than Starbucks. This place is great!

Staff was very nice and wonderful. The coffee was not good. I ordered three different drinks for myself and some out of town guests and we were all extremely underwhelmed.

This coffee is always delicious and fresh. The staff is always happy, and their sausage biscuits are pretty good too.

Grabbed a latte today on my way back to work and it just wasn’t good. The espresso taste like something I’d buy at Walmart. I literally poured out an entire latte.

They are in a convenient location, on my way to work or out for the day running errands! They offer quick and friendly service, healthy meal options for bfast & lunch for quick grabs of grub on the go! Coffee, tea, oatmeal, chicken salad snack packs and many more beverage and food options!

Service is a little slow, however the coffee is AMAZING!! you MUST try The Vulcan!!! The staff are RIDICULOUSLY kind and curteous.

I have loved everything I get from here...frappuccinos, lattes, pimento cheese, biscuits, chicken salad and their slushies! Almost a weekly visit for me. And the owner and staff are so happy and friendly!

The cashier was pleasant! I ordered a 16oz iced pumpkin and it comes with 4 pumps. Was WAY too sweet had to go back for am extra shot. Which was 1.70 extra instead of the normal .75 cents when adding to drink at window. The sausage pimento was barely warm and kind of sloppy but the service was lovely .

Very tasty coffee. Maybe the best in bham. I get my coffee black and comparative to other places this is really good stuff. Their latte was amazing as well

I love their Hollywood Coffee but I am just extremely disappointed by the pimento cheese biscuit. The first one I got was delicious, plenty of cheese but these last four I have gotten they have barely put a dollar coin size of pimento cheese on it...If I just wanted a biscuit then that is what I would ask for...disappointed

One of the few places that makes a stellar pimento cheese (if thats youre thing, I love itand their biscuits are better than where you get yours in Homewood!!!

Best coffee around! Fast, helpful and all around good people.My favorite way to start my day is a Large Americano with a Pimento and sausage biscuit... too good!
