Red Lobster in Douglasville

We hadnt tried this Red Lobster since we moved from Colorado and had bad experiences, but they give a free shrimp platter for Veterans Day so husband and I tried it. Well we had been missing out food was amazing even next day heated up in oven. Staff was so nice and patient with all the Veterans orders. Will definitely return

Free wi-fi. It was really clean. You place orders on a screen and pay for it. They have several food spots to choose from. I also saw what looked like a small casino, the digital kind with machines. 10/10.

The food tasted good but like most places the signs of inflation have showed up on their menus!

Worst experience ever waited to be seated while server frolic with a baby. Caucasian lean female, black roots blonde wavy hair. Secondly we sat at the bar and the service was equally obtuse.

The kitchen was backed up, so we could not get the "all you can eat shrimp" . That didnt sit well with our crowd since it was my moms 80th Birthday.The food was just ok, the hamburger my son ordered was horrible and a waste of $15.00The service was outstanding and the waitress was on point. Cant remember her name but it was the last shift on Nov. 2, 2022, at the Douglasville/Hwy 5 store. We had a 7:00 reservation for a party of 13.Just want to say thank you to our staff. The food had nothing to do with them.

The food was hot and tasty! Our server was excellent! Wish I would write down names and I didn’t take pictures this time.

Fish and chips 😁. Very good. Fish cooked just right. Brand new server gave excellent service, very attentive. Friends lunch, left happy & full .😃

We just ate lunch and we had the BEST waitress. Her name is Taisha and she great. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept checking on us the whole time we were there.And she was doing this while serving a table of it seemed like 50 people.So ask for Taisha next time you go to this red lobster.

I took away a star because the "to go" biscuits I brought back for my office mates were small, hard, and dry. Def NOT what they put on the table during the meal.

As red lobsters go Ive eaten at several the one in Douglasville has always been the best. Everything is always cooked perfectly for what it is. The biscuits perfect fried seafood nothing overcooked or undercooked

What can I say..this place is very good at making a dining experience enjoyable. I love this place.

Hostess was very friendly and promptly greeted us. Our server was Yaa, she was friendly and very attentive. Our food was delicious!

Waited over 10 mins for "a table to be cleaned" when the restaurant was virtually empty and NUMEROUS tables all through the building were unoccupied. Maybe if everyone was on break or just standing around doing nothing, my wife and I wouldnt have had to drive some 20 miles away to enjoy her birthday ritual weve enjoyed in various Red Lobsters from Columbus GA to Honolulu HI to Fayetteville NC and beyond over the past 27 years. Fortunately, our server Victor at the Austell location made our visit pleasant and my wife was able to enjoy her day.

I highly recommend if your in Douglasville try this red lobster. They have very good food, the staff are super friendly and the drinks are amazing. I would like to give a special thanks to Cooks for the awesome good and to the servers for the awesome experience n customer service. I absolutely love the shrimp Rangoon. They were cook perfectly and it was very disappointing to find out, the shrimp Rangoon was not apart of the endless shrimp. Whoever cooked the fried food on 09/11/22 thank you, absolutely AMAZING!!!

Stopped by for lunch. Sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. Food came out fast and everything was fresh even the cheddar biscuits!!!

They have improved portion sizes. Ive always enjoyed the unique flavor of their seafood. Cheddar Bay biscuits are yummy. Slaw could be chopped smaller and made fresh. Occasionally, slaw seems stale. Tartar sauce is yummy.

Ordered take out several times in the past month. The service is usually pretty good and the food Is constantly good.

Coming from a former employee, the kitchen is disgusting. Ive seen roaches literally crawling from the expo. I would not recommend eating from here honestly. Management is terrible. And the guest do not tip. Its really sad.

Just terrible. Took my son for his birthday because he wanted seafood. My goodness was the food horrible, expensive and horrible. Also, I expect a seafood joint to smell like fish, but this place REEKED like they left clothes in the washing machine for a week. The stench made it so difficult to eat. It was just all around not a good experience.

Took my Spiritual Mom out for dinner and this is where she wanted to go. She LOVES the biscuits! Our waitress was courteous and kept a good eye on us.

Went in today to make a to-go order at the bar the bar tender told me to go on the other side of the wall and wait there and someone would be with me in a minute to take my order! She only had 1 table that was still eating there food and after telling me to go wait went over to the table and sat there and talked to them while they were eating (rudeinstead of taking my order sat there for over 10 minutes a waitress passed by said someone would be with me in a minute had the hostess come up to me and asked if I had been helped said no and she went in the back to get someone waited and waited and nothing just ended up leaving! All around BAD SERVICE!

The New Orleans Salmon and shrimp was great.

The food is excellent, the atmosphere very calming and thank God we had the best when it comes to the server. Bree was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable of the menu.We will always ask for her when we return. If shes off, well return when shes back to work.Dr. J

Stopped by on our way home from the Georgia Aquarium. Love the service With the best waitress. The garlic biscuits were just fantastic. After them who really cares about the rest of the food. Love the Caesar salad.

Sorry folks but the food at this Red Lobster was terrible to say the least. Went around 3pm I ordered the "Fresh grilled trout" according to menu, my parents order the sailors platter. Oh my goodness the trout was so hard I couldnt eat it & as for fresh..maybe 10mos ago it was frozen & microwave cooked with painted on tan grill marks...terrible. However the manager was super nice & had our food recooked to take home. The server was wonderful as well & it wasnt her fault that over cooked food was coming out of the kitchen. The batter on my dads scallops clumped together. The salad was the best & it was fresh & only edible part of my meal as the clam chowder was bland & I tried to add salt & pepper but it just didnt work! Complete waste of money!

Ordered takeout tonight, and it was a huge mistake. When we pulled the food out of the bag, it was full of sauces and ketchup packets and looked like someones trash. I mean ketchup packets IN the domes with the food. Basic food sanitation habits totally neglected. As if that werent bad enough, I just pulled a HAIR out of my fries. Totally disgusting and this is not the first time something like this has happened at this location, but it WILL be the last. Not acceptable.

Upon arrival we were told it would be a 30 to 35 minute wait. Thats fine. When we were going to our table I noticed a lot of empty tables. I asked the hostess if the tables were reserved for graduation. She answered, "No, we do have enough people working tonight!". I felt sorry for our server. He was new and trying very hard to keep up. Its sad no one wants to be a server at Red Lobster.... Back in the day everyone wanted to work there because they made such good tips... Thanks Brandon and the pandemic!!!!

Employees here are not friendly, does not smile when greeting customer, smiling and greeting customer in a professional manner is a part of great customers service. Makes the customer feel welcome. The food was hot and well prepared customer service just dry and dead... No life in the place.

It was Friday, date night. It was a 30-35 min wait. Waitress was nice, brought out overdone biscuits. Had to wait on more to come out. My Bahama Mama drink was great. Ordered stuffed mushrooms and the Crab-Stuffed Shrimp Rangoon for starters, really good. We ordered Ulitmate seafood platter. My lobster tail didnt seem to be cooked fully, but everything else was good. I received a cheese cake for my Birthday treat.

My family came on Mother’s Day and we had Tytana was our server and let me say she was AMAZING ! She made sure we had everything, gave us updates on our food time and all. It was packed but she didn’t let that keep her from giving us a nice experience. I enjoyed my Mother’s Day toThe fullest. She even kept my children entertained when taking our order and checking in on us ! My husband and I loved her and made sure we tipped her well for her outstanding service. Definitely will be coming back to see her

Atmosphere and service are great. Food is meh. My dinner companions lobster was cooked to a rubbery mess. My scallops were good till I got to the last one. It was only half cooked. The wait staff were mint though.

I ordered online for pick up and it went downhill from there. I live 21 mins from this particular location, so when I got there my order wasnt ready. I had a pick up time 9:45pm and I did not get the food until 10:05 pm. In my error I did not check the contents of the bag before leaving and when I arrived home several items were missing. When I contacted the manager BRETT he was less than helpful, but I shared my receipt number with him and he was able to pull up my order and offered no apology but stated he would send a gift card via email. BRETT LIED!!!! He did NOT send the gift card and even when I called back not helpful. I spent 65 dollars in this establishment for 2 meals and wasted my hard earned money. Will not return to this location because Newnan is actually better to dine at with better service and management.

I took my mother out for her birthday. They didnt give us anything special for it but I wasnt expecting either. They had a new card system that lets you pay for your meal at the table. Masks not required. Prices about 10 dollars more on each item than it used to be. Paid 76 dollars for two people. Good was great.

The food was great, this time I actually took a picture of me and my wifes meals. if youre a seafood lover i recommend you drop by some time they have a (so far delicious menu to choose from.

This was my first whole lobster experience at a restaurant! I researched how to eat a whole lobster and how to break it down. It was slightly intimidating but I dismissed the fear and just dove in. My hubby reassured me that I would still be a lady and to just do it so I did! What a wonderful experience and tasty treat. I’m now hooked on ordering whole lobsters for my meal. I later learned that I could have picked out my meal first but since they were all on the small side it wouldn’t make a difference. (apparently the big ones got chosen over the weekend and this is a Mondayneedless to say, Red Lobster has that name for a reason.

Plain lobster 🦞 just on a plate...For the cost of it set it atleast on a bed of lettuce. Maybe one tomato 🍅 for the picture ,,It was my fathers birthday so they gave him a scoop of Icecream for free. That was nice $185 way to much for the small portion of meals. Probably will not be returning.

The food was seasoned good but the customer service is poor. I waited about 10 minutes to get my to-go order and. I one spoke to me although they looked at me and walked past me.

Great time with the family! Awesome clean table space and not to mention the classic biscuits sell themselves! Definitely recommend for a lunch date or a family outing!

It was my fiance birthday. Great server great food got a side I wasnt expecting it to be and the Manger was so nice and understanding and fixed it. Amazing place

Dont waste your time, this location has really slacked off. Red Lobster has the nerve to stop serving salads with a pasta meal. The service was poor and the food was sub par! The worst part of all is that they kept serving me food on chipped dishes. I showed the waitress and she just looked at me as if she didnt know what I was talking about. I was ready to go after that😕!

Not a hugs seafood fan but had a date night and my partner loves it so we came here for dinner last night. I saw they had a CAJUN Chicken Linguini Pasta dish and I got soo excited to try it because I love spicy foods and it was something I really looked forward to trying. When it arrived I started eating it and got oso disappointed. There wasn’t a SINGLE SPICE on the dish and the noodles weren’t cooked all the way. Definitely a rushed dish and so I expressed the issue to our waitress and she literally brought me a cup of DRY SEASONING and still charged us $20 for the meal. I started sneezing from all the spices she just put in my face expecting me to fix their mess up. I really looked forward to that meal and they didn’t try to solve their problem correctly at all. Definitely would’ve had a better experience if they would’ve prepared it again for togo so I could experience the meal I expected , that or waived it off our $75 check . Greatly disappointed and would like this issue addressed.

I typically LOVE RL, but today was terrible. The wait was long- ok- everyone loves RL. We finally get seated only to wait for an eternity to be served. The waitress brings our drinks, but informs us that the biscuits were not ready yet. The sweet tea was like warm, liquid sugar. She then proceeds to bring 3 biscuits for 4 people 🤔🙄 Our food finally comes out cold and old looking. I had the Seaside Trio. It was terrible. The alfredo looked dry like it had sat out. The mashed potatoes were cold. She could tell we werent pleased and was grateful we werent jerks about it. The manager took it off the bill and was apologetic. She offered to box it up and gave suggestions on how to make it better at home. We politely declined. We will likely come back, but tonight wasnt it.

Staff and while experience was great. Though they were incredibly business our waiter served all of our needs. Appetizer was out quickly and food was out at a reasonable time after. Will definitely be back.

Overall, it was all right. The food was okay but nothing over-the-top delicious. The biscuits arent as good as they used to be. Not nearly as flavorful. And my plate was a little sloppy. Our server (whose name I cant recallwas very nice and attentive until she committed one of my biggest pet peeves among servers: bringing the check without asking if I want anything else. I had been considering dessert, but when servers do that, theyre not getting any more of my money.

Food is awesome. Love tasting the new items that Red Lobster has to offer. Wine selection is good too. Wheelchair accessible, place is easy to find, plenty of parking. Clean bathrooms. Servers have vast knowledge of the menu and drinks and theyre friendly too, very professional.
