Back again... This place is just a great place to get a drink and smoke! The music never lets you down and the vibes are always good

Not much atmosphere and expensive drinks. Staff were nice, but shame the place lacked comfort.

Watch out with the black bold body guard. He’s violent.

Not too many people, a great place to get a drink and step away from the noise of the red light district. Plus, the bartender is fantastic and had an amazing voice!!

The bartender was very friendly but they refused to give tap water a couple of times which was very weird. The place had a good vibe and the location is classic.

We bought lots of drinks and were refused tap water. Although I’m unsure about the legality of this, bars that serve alcohol should provide tap water as a duty of care. The staff were really rude about it as well :(poor representation of Amsterdam because Dutch people are generally really lovely.

Decent bar. Too much crowd just because of the pub crawl and it is not recommended to take the pub crawl it is waste of money

Good atmosphere pool tables bit out dated but drinks relatively decent in price and they show most the mainstream sporting events would recommend as a nice chilled spot

Was ok I think 4 floors I know 3 disco smoking plus bar ,only had a pit stop leest you could smoke inside.

Good atmosphere, with staff that like their job as bartenders. Fine music and good beer.

Brilliant bar, brilliant location in the middle of bustling area. Drinks are averagely priced. Decor inside is good also. End of the day it serves alcohol so why bother reading the reviews??

Good drink specials and bartenders were friendly. Has a couple pool tables in the back of the first floor and the restrooms are all way at the top of the stairs in the back. Stop serving around 2 am like all the other bars in this area. Centrally located as well if you get off at the Uber drop off.

Visiting here was a pleasant experience overall. I did not have much expectations walking in but the people present at the time were very friendly and I got a good vibe from everyone around me. The music was good and the beer was better.

Very nice, cozy atmosphere and great service. Prices - stunning. Also, you can watch pretty much any Premier League match here which is great.

The ambience is nice - prices are average compared to red light district pubs and bars.. they have a pool table, an inside smoking room and toilets are on the top floor ( a bit tricky to climb them stairs down if you have a few too many).Overall nice place 👍

Best bar Ive been to in the RLD. Playing pool and getting some cheap shots with your friends is definitely the highlight. Staff is friendly but playing pool can be rough if the place is packed. 10/10 recommend

I ordered two drinks there last night. Paid up for my drinks. Bartender then asked for a tip. I was fiddling around in my pocket, to find 1€ or something, because I only had a 10€ bill. The horse-like looking lady started screaming in the bar: "Its just one f****** euro", making a scene. So I just gave her the 10€, just to calm her down. She grabbed it aggressively out of my hands, not returning any change.Paying customers also have to pay to use the restroom.Id give it less than 1 star if I could.

It was OK. They serve Heineken Beer with extra cold serving ( cold glasses which is good. The Bartender is nice but usually too much people there to be handled by only one person.

Not a bad spot for a quick onesie, if you like cosy bars this might be great for you, for me it was a bit to small, even the smoking room was jam packed. There is a pool table, which takes up a lot of space. If it was up to me I’ll get rid of that pool table and install some standing bar tables. I think drinks will be more profitable than the pool board. Nevertheless there was a chill vibe for the short time I was there....

Nothing special except for the name. The drunks coming out of the bar to puke in the canal contribute to a sordid image.

Good place to have beer in red light district. Nice and friendly staff! Also from the window you can see the red chambers of the ladies. Its an experience to be here and for sure its a hot spot in the area.

Cheap drinks and great music. Really fun bar. Although they wanted to charge for bathrooms use. Even for clients. It was big and crowded but not to the point where one is uncomfortable.

Decent bar, seating is very limited. I enjoy the fact that have a smoking room where you can smoke both weed and cigarettes. The drinks came out fast and the music was really good. It is definitely more of a "younger" atmosphere and environment. Overall the experiance waa good. I am giving it 4 stars because there is really nothing special about this place.

This place is ok. It’s right in the heart of the red light district. Shows the football and has a couple of pool tables. There is an area for indoor smoking too. Quite crowded and not a lot of seats close the bar but there is additional seating upstairs. Quite expensive though cost €6.50 for a pint of Heineken. It’s just ok, nicer places out there.

Overall a great drink and smoke bar, drinks are a reasonable price. Went to this bar twice during our trip, the first time we stayed on the first floor which allows drinking only and smoking in designated closed off areas.Even though the smoking area does have an open window for slight ventilation we and other customers tended to use the smoking area taking turns.Our second visit was probably my favourite. We went again as part of a bar crawl and we were taken to their second floor (may be wrong but think the second floor is only open weekends as it wasnt open when we visited the first time). It was more like a good inside of a club with music drinks and also unlike the floor below smoking was permitted in the bar area outside of smoking areas.Red Light Bar is in a great location, cant attualy believe all the times we have been to Amsterdam this had been our first visits this year. Will deffently return when back in Amsterdam.

Great Place n Food for those who are vegetarian

A little bit more pricy than some of the other bars. But its right on the strip. It has a high vantage point to the street.

Best location. Great music (rnb hip hop). Wonderful bar staff. Seats not so comfortable but its a good place to stand and have a drink before moving on.

Great smoker friendly bar in the heart of the Red Light District in Amsterdam. Full cocktail bar and beer on tap. Several floors with plenty of seating and great views from the front windows. There are a couple of enclosed smoke rooms, gambling video games and table football. (See reviews on our site or YouTube for more.)The staff is friendly and cheerful and the Red Light scene is great to take in from the tables at the front, overlooking the canals and the sex workers in the windows directly across!

The bar is ok. Nice atmosphere though BUT the staff at the bar next to the smokers area tried to cheat on us. She wanted us to pay 10,- € more than shown on the board. Cheating is a No-Go even when theres lots of drunk tourists. We left the bar after discussion with the Security without paying.

They have two pool tables, two nickel machines, smoking area upstairs. Its one of the bars visited by the pub crawl. The beer is good, nothing major to complain. Just that could be a little more cleaner. Nice to visit but I wouldnt come back.

I visited before it got busy in a Saturday afternoon, it has lockers where you can securely leave your phone charging which was handy. Bar girls really friendly and chat no problems too. Music wasnt overly loud where you could have conversation and was varied for all tastes.

Very fun bar with 3 levels. Smoking room on the top floor where you can smoke cigarettes and joints. Must take your baseball hat off, or wear it backwards for security cameras.
