Recreatiepark Arnhem BV in Arnhem

First of all: The staff members are very friendly and really willing to help!! I cant say any negative about it!But the mobile homes are outdated, I got dirty dishes in the cupboard and the bedsheets were dirty even tho they were washed and sealed.The boiler broke down several times so I got another house after four days.The supermarket is only open four days a week for several hours. So I recommend driving to Arnehm for grocery shopping.Restaurant is open on Wednesday and weekends and only in the evening.The beds are uncomfortable. Very thin mattresses.The nature here is beautiful. The parc has several playgrounds for children and even Minigolf. Washing is very expensive so bring enough clothing with you. 7,50 EUR for one wash cycle.Im sorry but I wont book here again. There are plenty of Vakantieparcs that are mich better.

Great park, calm and near the nature.

Our grandson loved it and we too. Could not eat at the restaurant because they did not have enough employees. Mobile home was nice and clean.

Absolutely wonderful, its a great family park with plenty of chalets, camper and caravan spots and a huge lot for tents. Although some of the chalets need some maintenance work, everything you need is present. Great camp store and restaurant.

I have enjoy my hollyday here!

I must say, positivelly surprised by the surroundings. Great spacious pitches and you feel right at home in the forest camping. Sanitaire is ok and clean. Bit dated and toilet flushes not so great. Shower works fine with clock so you dont have to push each 30 sec. No coins needed. All and all fine camping despite all the gossip.

Drama!!

Decent location. Bit surprised to get all our arrival information in Dutch when they have a good English website. Childrens play area had an inflatable large pillow. Was told it would be on at 10.00am. Asked 3 times after this time and they were clearly irritated and kept saying it will go on but it didnt.Likewise very offhand about where the golf clubs were for the childrens golf. Different places on different days. They clearly didnt care.Great stay in Holland and found everyone in the Arnhem and Nijmegen area to be very friendly and welcoming. This site was the exception.Overall I cant recommend this site and wont be back. Facilities okay but some toilets and showers not working. Basic facilities. Swimming pool okay but no lockers and only one lifeguard who didnt clear away excess water so my children kept slipping over.Disappointing and overpriced for basics.

Super, super, beautiful camp

Ive been to quite a few vakantieparks in Netherlands, but this was, by far, the dirtiest one.. chalet was old and had a smell of an old house, floor was just disgusting with hair, crumbs and webcobs, there were hair in the shower drain too. No broom or vacuum cleaner, had to clean it myself and throw away my socks. I was legit scared to use the pans. No water cooker - had to warm up water in a pan. Had to move the tv cable around to catch a better view (like back in the day). Caravans way close to each other, little to no privacy.

When I arrived there were no parking to park my car and get to the reception to receive the keys.1- The barrier was down and not possible to enter before check in in the reception desk.2- We received and e-key-card and went to the accommodation and noticed that it has the normal keys. We had to return back to the reception to change the key.3- It was awful the accommodation that we had was not clean at all. We had to wait for one hour and half (90 minutesin rainy weather outside the accommodation and calling 7 times to the desk to send somebody to clean the place. ( they have forgotten to clean the place). At the end we receive anther accommodation!!!! The shower could not be fixed after cleaning!!

The employees are not the most polite full ones.No Wi-FI , the heather is gas , which is not safe, the water is or really hot or cold.And will be useful a bit more attention to the whole park.

I needed a place to stay for a while (few monthsbecause I sold my house. That was no problem at all and they gave me a good all-in price.

Its dirty and the caravans are very tiny.Our caravan was just disgustingly filthy.

the worst place in the world! insects in the house and Its ipossible to leave this place at night because the gate is closed so you cant go anywhere in the weekend or something....this is ridiculous sorry this place is ridiculous.

Very old mobile homes, dirty toilet, beds which were way too short, super small pool, not alot to do. The only positive thing about this park is the nature surrounsing it.

Lovely tranquil getaway from the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle. You just see trees and greenery. Enough entertainment for the kids and the amenities is kept tidy!

Very dated caravan . Bed like sleeping on a rock ! Musty, grubby . Freezing cold , horrible !! Checked out after one night so lost money as booked for week . Facilities shut .Awful place would not recommend at all , would give no stars if possible !!!

Shower blocks a bit tired no soap for hand-washing. Only 3 showers. Too many trees on pitches Ouch!

Very dirty accommodation not cleaned at all not a good place for kids very poorly run the swimming pool only opens 4 days a week no night time entertainment for familys no towels or enough bedding and the ones we did get were dirty shower leaked in to master bedroom not a good experience st all would not recommend this place at all

Really nice camping.

Its in the middle of nowhere so far away from everything. The food is disgusting in the restaurant. The shop is just useless. But most of all the serve alcohol to any age person. Mobile homes are very cold. Was so disappointed with this place

Not the greatest accomodations, but has all the basics.

Peace, quiet, wood, nature. Good place to stay with friends or kids. Pool with jacuzzi, sauna and turkish sauna. You can rest there.

Very dirty place! Stayed 4 days here and no way gonna come back. Love the forest around it, so gonna look better places to stay in. Very disappointed!!!!

Disappointment. Thats the best way to describe our feeling when we entered the park. The staff at the reception was friendly. But the park is not nice. The bungalows are super dated, they did not make any effort to make them at least a little cozy. There werent even basic things like salt or pepper. And the restaurant has only unhealthy choices. So for a short weekend you either have to bring a lot of stuff to do your own cooking (in very limited selection of pansor eat junk food all weekend long. Our bungalow turned out the be right across from the playground where they played loud music til 10 PM every day and the reception said they could not move us to a more quiet area of the park. So in the end we decided that we were better off going back home. We lost our weekend out with the children and we lost 330 euros. But at least we slept well in a clean home with space (cause in those tiny bedrooms we were unable to even turn over!Sorry but not recommended. There are tons of other nice camping sites. And now people are telling us that several organizations for the rights of consumers have received complaints about Oostappen Groep. So we just wished we had known that before.
