Very friendly and generous service. They even gave our dog with an injured foot a little treat :The food was really good as well. The spicy barbeque is great if you like spicy food!

We ended up stopping there because of the wonderful smells and the decently long line (figured a line like that meant the food was worth it). The service was great, food was even better. Theres a little picnic area behind with maybe 5 picnic benches, garbages and a clean porta potty. I ordered bbq pork type wrap (I dont remember what it was calledand tots and they did not disappoint!! We will definitely need to stop again so we can try more menu items out!

For our first time here we asked the staff for recommendations. They were spot on. Food is amazing. Staff are beyond friendly and knowledgeable. They had our food ready in no time and we sat at their picnic area. Would highly recommend on a nice day swinging in for a bite to eat in their beautiful picnic area. I would have taken pictures of the food but it smelled so amazing I didnt even think about it until I was halfway through.

Recess is one great place to get your self a killer burger. Good variety of food, and amazing cookie, like so good...... their better than my moms,, and thats hard to do.My go to burger is the one with macaroni and cheese on it. Its an epic burger, for sure.

I got the dbl dutch and my husband got the kobb. Dont let the prices defer you well worth the 13 and 14 price! Its definitely a large salad with lots of goodies not just greens

I have driven past this place a few times and today I dropped in on a whim. I had the chance to try their bbq pulled pork wrap and it did not disappoint. The crisp textures of toasted tortilla and layered veggies was greatly accompanied by the smokey sweet tang and tender pull of the bbq pork. The tots where crispy and on point. I also enjoyed the simple side salad that was hit with a spritz of lemon. Definitely on my list for another try.

Came from cross the country on a whim. The berry salad, the burger, out of this world. Great and friendly service as well.

One of the ladies were terribly rude!! We arrived at 6:30, 3 couples in separate cars, after the first 2 got their orders, the next couple was told they were not taking any more orders. It was perhaps 6:40. When I asked if they could since we were all together her comment was "well, you could have said that earlier!" When?? And how is it relevant? She was rude because she wanted to close at 7. If your hours are until 7, you should be taking orders until 7!! RUDE! Would not go back.

Yummy food with extremely friendly service. With pulled and shredded pork elsewhere on the menu, I assumed it would be in the wrap, too, but it was strips of pork loin. Carolina BBQ sauce was more like honey mustard dressing.

Wife and I stopped in after a busy morning of doing touristy stuff. The burgers were very good and some of the best mac n cheese I have ever had. Wish there was a place this good in my home town.

My boys and I stopped here after the Tilamook creamery was too full, and we were delighted with our burgers. From the 7-year-old: "It was fast, and it was yummy." From the 10-year-old: "Best burger Ive had in my life!" I agree with them -- SO good, perfectly cooked, service was awesome, highly recommend!!!

Its an ok burger place. I thought with all the great reviews it would have been better. Fries were undercooked and limp. Mac and cheese is ok at best. And an average burger. For the money Ill go elsewhere. Kinda disappointed. The only thing outstanding at this place was the customer service I received.

We stopped here on way through on a family vacation! Their specialty burgers are so good! Dog friendly seating outdoors! Very friendly. Absolutely would eat here again!

This place has awesome quality food! Just had a Capture the Flag burger for the first time and wow!! Big messy, gooey half pounder goodness topped with a fried Mac and cheese patty on a homemade bun. Plus a side AND a fresh green salad! A lot more quality food than any fast food place. Fresh ingredients. Definitely worth the stop! One of our favorite food trucks in Tillamook. Come hungry, leave satisfied.

Peeled into this place after driving by and almost missing it. Just in the hunt for some dinner on our way into town. We got burgers to go and they were awesome! Perfectly cooked medium rare. We should have had our fries and tots separately and miched on them en route because almost 40min later they were a bit soggy but thats not their fault! Well be coming back!

On a long road trip from Florida to Cali and then up to Oregon, saw this place pop up and decided to give it a go. My wrap was one of the best meals Ive had in weeks, and the super friendly staff made the experience incredibly enjoyable. Ate at a picnic bench out back, relaxed and had good food.

This gem of a food truck offers quality food on Highway 101 in Tillamook Oregon.I had the King of the Playground. While my wife had the Marco Polo. Both burgers were excellent. They came with fries, which were also good. To top it off the burgers also came with a high end salad.If youre not into burgers, they also have several salads which you can check out in the photos of the menu I posted.There are also some fresh and delicious desserts like cookies and rice crispy treats.The folks running the place are also super nice and are fun to talk to.I will definitely be stopping here again on one of my Oregon coast trips.

We stumbled across this food art while vacationing in Tillamook and were so pleasantly delighted by our experience! We needed food options for vegetarians/vegans, meat eaters, and gluten free folks, and they accommodate everyone! Secondly, everything is made from scratch, including the amazing veggie patty and burger buns. We all enjoyed burgers, which come with fries or tots, and a side salad. Even the kids loved the salad, which was lightly dressed with a raspberry vinaigrette. Customer service was too notch. They even gave us free chicken for our dogs! Dining space was ample with lots of picnic benches behind the cart. Portapotty on-site was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Food is Fresh and you can tell homemade!The staff is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond!I had the frychos and they were fantastic! The tater tots are so crispy and a must have!My husband had a burger and it come with fries Mac and cheese on top! 👏They also have benches and a little play area for the kids, which is ALWAYS a plus!A must have if you come to town!

Loved the bbq sauce and the chicken. Unfortunately my tater tots were too over seasoned to eat. It was 31 dollars for two people to eat and have a drink so a bit more than I felt it was worth.

What a great burger food truck! I had the mac and cheese burger and enjoyed it very much. The fries were delicious!!! Pulled pork was also very good. The kids all had cheese burgers and they were happy too. Every meal came with salad and fries.

Omgee!! What a wonderful delicious experience! Fresh Fresh Food! Super Friendly Service! You must try their food! I had a wrap and hubby had a burger. Sooo delicious. Nice outside seating area. Their fries were a little too thin and crispy/crunchy for my liking but if you like them that way youll love these. It was a tad expensive at about $30 for 2 people for lunch but definitely will return.

A fantastic hidden gem right of Highway 101 waiting to brighten your day! My husband and I reached Tillamook in search of a yummy, satisfying, easy meal. We were actually on the way to a different eatery when we spotted Recess parked off the highway and ended up making a U-turn to go back. Little did we know, it would be one of the best decisions we made that day!The menu is a little hard to follow - every time has a lot to it, but the variety is wide so it’s worth the time to read through the entire thing to find exactly what your tastebuds are looking for. The woman running the truck catered to us the moment she saw us at the ordering window. The wait was rather long - about 15 minutes, for a wrap and mac & cheese. Despite that, it was still a fantastic dining experience.As always, my husband and I split an item to avoid overeating/spending. We shared the Sneak Attack Cobb Wrap (your choice [we choose grilled chicken breast tenders], organic greens, shredded cabbage, carrots, green onions, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, and last but not least, *phew,* salad dressing in a flour tortilla, $12.00with a side of macaroni and cheese. The wrap was fan-freaking-tastic! It was a ton of ingredients that mixed very well together. Half was way more than enough for just me. My husband also loved it! We both agree if we came back, we’d want the same thing. I wish we could say the same for the macaroni and cheese. Apparently it was the reason why we had to wait so long. It was very watery and the extra cheese that was so graciously piled on top wouldn’t melt despite keeping the lid to the box closed. I wouldn’t order it again. Maybe fries next time.Overall this is an outstanding little food trailer run by very nice people serving great food. Can’t wait to return next time we’re in the area!

Wow! Very family friendly. Delicious food. Awesome citrus drink. A nice yard with picnic tables, running room for kids and a few toys to boot! Oh, not to mention the good blackberry picking. Highly recommend!!

On Saturday we went to the beach and went hiking. On our way back to Tillamook we were looking for someplace to eat where we could get something that we liked to eat. We saw this food truck and decided to stop. The food was amazing. I had the cornbread waffle with pulled pork and a Carolina bbq sauce. It came with a side of mac and cheese. All of the food was amazing and Ill go back everytime Im in Tillamook. Also, the owner was very friendly and welcoming. I loved that she offered a place out back for our dog to get some exercise.

STOP!! Whatever you are doing and grab a meal from this local delicious food truck. After braving the hoards of people packed into the Tillamook factory giant store like cattle, this truck was a breath of fresh air! And they were great with children! They had bubbles and a chalkboard for the kids to stay busy and a impeccably clean toilet with warm water to clean up. And that’s not every the best part. The food was scrumptious! The fries remind you of days when schools served crisp fried and lightly salted fries, yum! The Red-Rover BBQ wrap with chicken was perfect! A nice blend of flavors to create a grown up healthy wrap. Don’t leave without getting dessert. As always it’s the best part of the meal and Recesses dessert did not disappoint. Buy one of each and you’ll be happy you did. Don’t waste your money on the overpriced food down the road. Stop at Recess and grab a quick fresh and delicious meal.
