Ravintola Masala in Turku

Had scrumptious lunch at Ravintola Masala today. Restaurant has a beautiful interior, quiet setting, well spaced tables and was very clean. Lunch includes delicious soup and salad as well. It was a lovely experience. I am definitely going back.

Small portion, rice dry and cold, lamb sauce tasted good but very mild despite ordering a spicier dish.

Ordered food from it, the taste wasnt even close to what we normally get from Indian restaurants/nepali/pakistani restaurants.

Its not that good as I thought. The food has no test, rice served could, for 4 ppl only one plate rice 😳.I ordered mixed chicken and lamp but it was all chicken only 2 small pieces lambs and so hard and not tested ☹.do Not suggested for Asian bcx theirs no test in food . Only the bread naan was perfect 🥰

Nice restaurant with decent Indian food. hygiene and not pricey. Timely food availability and it’s served hot.

Quality of food matched quality of service. Food was authentic and in big portion sizes. Price to experience was satisfied.

My friends and I all had a great experience at Ravintola Masala, and next time I am in Turku I would come again. The food was delicious and there were specific vegan dishes, as well as vegetarian and meat. There was also a nice shady terrace. The service was fantastic, very fun and friendly; also as a pet friendly place, even the dogs got their own bowl of water. The restaurant also serves drinks.

We had a lunch there this summer the food was just amazing. Realistic Indian flavour authentic taste and a great service. Wonderful experience. As soon as you enter you will notice the ancient indian paintings from mugal era raising your expectation and I must say hospitality and food all exceeds the expectations.

This restaurant was amazing. Not only the service (very kind and funnybut also the food was very good. You can basically choose your sauce dish and then you get rice and Naan (which was amazing!!with it. We also got little bread sticks in the beginning, and potatoe bread + ginger tea in the end - for which we didnt pay extra. We loved it!

The food was good. The owner will talk your ear off while trying to dine. He’s also rude. Hard pass eat elsewhere

Wow, what a great place. First, the gentleman waiting our table, Mr Zahir went beyond great service. One could not get better service. Second, the food was absolutely fantastic. Tasty, spicy, hearty and delicious. Third, the atmosphere and interior gives you a feel of actually temporarily traveling to the origin country of the dishes served. Thank you VERY MUCH. Very friendly service and nice looking place. The chick pea based Chana - Aloo Masala didnt offer any mind-blowing taste experience. I was contacted by the owner and updated this review to give feedback. 5 stars for friendliness, 3 stars for food (on this particular food).

Tried their Chicken Korma. It was delicious, but while being pricey (15 euros), the portion size was small. So its expensive.

Absolutely fantastic food and phenomenal service. Youd have to look hard to find a better combo of the 2. Definitely would/will visit again! If you are a fan of authentic indian food accompanied by friendly service and great atmosphere this is the place youre looking for.

The best host I have ever seen in a restaurant in Finland. The closest authentic Indian food I have tasted outside of India. I will definitely visit here again.

This place serves the best Indian food that I have had out of all the countries that I have been to in Europe.The quality is perfect. Hospitality is amazing.You will be missing out if you did not eat the "Stuuffed naan", the paneer menu and the mango lassi.

Best Indian subcontinent food weve had in Finland. Owner is very sympathetic and was very helpful. The food is truly authentic. All food ordered was beyond expectations: garlic chicken, mountain chicken (tandoori chickenwere amazing and as spicy as requested (a lot). But we give a special 6 out of 5 to the palak paneer, the best weve ever had. Not much to add. Even if not super close to Aura river, worth walking the 10-15 minutes to get there.

Awesome establishment in every way.The owner was such a nice guy. The food was great! The location is very convenient and the premises were very cozy. Old man really enjoyed the food; said it was some of the best chicken food hes ever had and I have to agree on that.Well definitely be back! All the best to you and yours and take care.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and great traditional food. Would definitely come again many times. The owner is very warm and welcoming and he makes visiting again an easy choice ;)

Visited this place on a short trip to Turku.The food was very delicious and the ambience was great. Ordered lamb masala and mutter masala curry and the taste was really great. The owner was very friendly and cheering . Overall loved the experience.I would highly recommend this place in Turku.

On a busy little-Christmas season we ended enjoying our Saturday evening dinner in this lovely restaurant. We give full five stars for the food and service. Our caretaker (= the owner of the place, but he prefers to identify himself as a caretakertook excellent care of our needs and managed to deliver a wonderful experience for us. Thank you!

Very good nepalese/ indian restaurant in Turku. Food was very good and tasty and especially Naan bread was amazing. Ginger tea was a nice extra after the meal. Service was very friendly and helpfull. We also liked the spacious placing of the tables.

We ended up here by accident since it is a little hidden in the backyard. The owner was super welcoming and warm-hearted! The food was delicious and the price was really fair. We even got a great ginger tea as a present from the house - totally delicious!! 👍

Really lovely food, the naan bread dipped into that curry sauce was to die for. Probably the best raita outside of Delhi. The Jaipur beer was delicious, And the manager is such a nice guy, an excellent ambassador for Turku tourism.

The place is simple but fantastic with its energy and exclusive spicy rich in flavours food. Its more than food its an experience! The service very warm-hearted and attentive, and experienced. Ive never experienced such a passionate poeple at work in seamingly insignificant corner of the city.

Well it’s really not Indian cuisine. We order chicken tikka and chicken tikka masala and both are in souse, where in menu was written that first one is dry just as I like. Masala is just in simple bowl without fire. Just don’t feel like in Indian restaurants... not recommended

Visited for the first time! Great value lunch! You can choose from several options I had Palak Paneer and it comes with naan, soup & salad if you want and tea. Food was very tasty and service super friendly & polite. Will go again.

This is the most authentic place to know how the Indian food, South East Asian food is like and how is is prepared. The taste is authentic. There are improvements coming gradually from the scratch. Cleanliness, hygiene, quality and customer service. There is always space for improvement.

Been there once and had food quite many times from Foodora. Visiting experience is just Simply great. The place is nicely decorated and peaceful. Staff is well mannered and very cooperative. Small scope to improve food quality, they can do still better but of course, it is yummy food already they do serve. Naan bread is the best thing I ever tried in Turku. Worth of money they cost you. 😊😊👍👍

If you dont order the mango lassi you need to reassess your life priorities. Delicious, healthy food, most wonderful customer service. Every curry comes with complimentary rice and naan. Hurry up and go!
