Simply the best

Tunnelmallinen ravintola, jossa hyvää ruokaa ja palvelua.

Serves great little bites to eat, excellent selection of beers of various styles. Location is unfortunately not optimal as there is little else nearby. The atmosphere is great though - dark, candlelit. The staff know their stuff, so if you have a question about the beer selection, ask away.

Kannattaa varautua yllätyksiin tavaranhankinnassa. Tänään ma 29.11. suuntasin vähän kauempaa tänne Majatalon varsin onnistunut annos : lämmin avokadoleipä silmissä jo siintäen....Hupsis! Sitä ei voitukaan valmistaa, koska ko.leipä oli loppu ja sitä kai saadaan vasta parin päivän päästä....että silleen ennakoidaan...HIP HEI.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Quality of service is amazing and the staff is always very kind and social. Menu isnt very big but everything Ive tried has been delicious! Great place to drop by for drinks with friends and enjoy some tasty finger foods.

Tunnelmallinen seurusteluravintola – Pyynikin ylpeys. Monipuolinen juomavalikoima, paljon pienpanimotuotteita ja ystävällinen palvelu. Ruoka-annokset ovat todella maistuvia – Maja/Talo suosii paikallisia tuottajia. Miellyttävä paikka viettää iltaa, suosittelen!

Very cozy neighbourhood pub that also serves great food! You might have to wait a while to get you order but the food is homemade and you can enjoy their great selection of beers at the same time! Come here to relax with your friends and try out their soy hotdog! Its super good.

Matkalla Pyynikille mennen tullen. Pelilipulla pieni alennus bissestä. Asiantuntevat tarjoilijat löytävät kivasti mieleistä juotavaa. Valikoima on hyvä. Kivan hämyinen tunnelma. Täytyisi joskus kokeilla myös syödä täällä.

The streetview photo is a little out of date, this was made pretty a little while ago. Comfortable, relaxed, friendly, there are window seats to stare at the world, and a lounge-like room full of games to pass an afternoon. Nice selection of micro-brewery beers and the the usual others. Food was great, we had the well-dressed vegetarian hot dogs which were about 6 euros and were worth it.

Currently on my top list of places in Tampere, Maja/Talo offers quite a unique atmosphere with a small, yet good, selection of beer and food. Particularly on the food side, you will find several classic dishes from Finland, behind served with a modern twist. For example, I suggest you try the makkara perunat.Maja/Talo has an attractive space where a bigger group can seat and chat, while offering more intimate spaces for those that dont want to be bothered.
