The food was great but I found a hair in my rice which grossed me out because I had barely even started eating and I was already almost finished with my rice.

A neighborhood favorite for all foods Mexican, with a considerable flair with Jalisco-style food. Be sure to check out the Margarita menu, as well as the happy hour and lunch menus. The fajitas and molcajete are must-try signature dishes.

We meet friends for dinner here often. Owners are so nice. The food is great and the Margaritas are strong. They have a nice selection of veggie items, just ask for them to be made vegan and confirm no cheese, the vegan rice, and black beans. My favorite is the veggie fajitas. Its enough to take home for a second meal.

One of the worst mexican restaurants I have ate at. Fajitas I got for two looked like for one person only and they were burnt. And fish was under cooked. And way over priced. Will not eat there ever again

Excellent food! Authentic Mexican, especially Southern Mexico (Guerrero and Acapulcoand some Mexican American for the uninitiated. Friendly, and good service.

My wife & I are trying to support local businesses. We are 1/2 mile from Rauls. We went to try ANOTHER authentic Mexican restaurant, search done!!! Great food, service & all.. referred to friends (that are very pickywell, Rauls passed! Going back fathers day, & bringing more friends with us.. be prepared to take some home, they make sure ya dont leave hungry!

EXTREMELY clean, great food, best bean dip ever! which is complimentary and very well managed.The one and only negative is they are closed on Sunday’s. We have been spreading the word and will continue to eat there in a regular basis. This one is a must!

Small family run Mexican restaurant that has great tasting food! Their salsa compared to other places is one of my favorites. It’s always fresh. The service is good and the overall vibe is happy and positive. It’s a good place to come with family or friends for some good Mexican American food and have a good time.

My fiancé and I always try to go to a new authentic Mexican spot on our Cinyo De Mayo anniversary, this restaurant was a fantastic find! The whole aesthetic was perfect! Our waiter was very attentive. The food was bold and flavorful as well as my drink!

Live right in the neighborhood and always overlooked this place, thinking it was one of those awful american mexican restaurants. I was so wrong. The food is your typical american mexican restaurant but delicious quality food 🥑 great service and so clean 🤗

My 91 year old mom and I had lunch here and enjoyed our meal very much.

Had the vegetarian burrito plate with mushrooms, spinach, sauce, cheese, salad, etc. (The Champiñon). Service was very good and friendly, and the chips & dip were very good. Unfortunately, that’s where the goodness ended. With the first bite I knew something was off. I managed to eat about half but I should have returned it immediately. When I told the host he didn’t seem too concerned about the “off” flavor. My friend’s steak fajita dish was good. I’ll definitely order something else if I go back.

Wasnt here long. Met a friend and had a Margarita. They were very busy for lunch so it took a bit but it was good. Will be back to try the food for sure.

Rauls is a long time favorite. I absolutely love their cucumber jalapeño Margarita. They had a great selection of house salsas. They were very fresh! A few of our favorites are the Tim fish tacos, the pozole, and enchiladas, nachos Al pastor fajita style. Good to see this old fav is still around.

Great food. Ask for the extra hot hot sauce it will get you sweating but so flavorful

I have enjoyed Rauls restaurant over the past 5 years as a pretty good restaurant. However, today they without notice charged and passed onto me a %4 credit card fee. "No, I dont think so Tim." Not cool. It is not that exceptional that I cannot choose another Mexican food restaurant. Onward and upward. Moth.

I hate to drop a bad review, since I understand it was a bit hectic when I came in on account of the card payment system going down, but this was pretty rough - I ordered takeout at the counter and got our food pretty quickly after. We got home in 5 minutes after receiving our order and the food was almost ice cold. It was also incorrect - several items were incorrect in our mui grande combos. Kinda seems like we got the wrong order completely, but it was close enough that I cant tell. Pretty disappointed

Thought I would try one more time eating at Rauls heard lots of positive things. Surprise, Very disappointed. Ordered take out. 2 Asada Tacos and 1 Shredded Enchilada. What I got was 1 Asada and 1 ground beef Tacos with no cilantro or onion and different types of shells. The Enchilada had a very chemical taste to it. Couldn’t and wouldn’t go back due to the distance I drove. On the look out for great Mexican Food again.

First time going to this place and omg everything was so delicious from the chips with the frijoles (beansand Salsa to the food yum 😋 If you are ever in the area you must stop by and try this place out.

We were recommended this spot for the best margaritas in the area. They did not disappoint. The good was also very delicious and well prepared. They have outdoor seating which is great for the current world issues.

Good quality Mexican food. Ive actually only ate at the restaurant for the first time a week ago but had ordered delivery a couple of times. So so good. The outside seating was a nice touch.

This is our favorite local Mexican restaurant. The chorizo is absolutely delicious! My wife always gets the molcajete because it is an excellent value and we get leftovers. The staff is always friendly. The drinks are large and delicious. I tried a Pepino Jalapeño Margarita and it was perfectly balanced spicy pepper and cool cucumber. The atmosphere is always relaxing and friendly.

Their prices have gone up. They also charge 3% credit card fee. Its the cost of doing business these days. With the increase of their menu prices this charge should not be passed on to the customer. The food was okay. Standard Mexican Food that you can get anywhere. The tamale was dry and substandard.

The least spicy or flavorful Mexican food I have ever had. Its like a nursing home level of mild. However they have really good elote/grilled corn on the cob. They also serve a bean dip with chips and salsa that is very good. Every thing else I have had there is a little disappointing to put it gently. The prices are a bit wild too.

I ordered a fried jalapeño and never received it. My spirite had no syrup in it and when I requested they change syrup and bring me a fresh sprite I received another with no syrup so then I requested a root beer and after 15 minutes my son had to go get it for me. Otherwise the food was amazing!

Have eaten there many times over the years and the food was always great. Last nights meal was a disaster. We ordered two chicken macho burritos. They were the blandest food weve ever eaten anywhere. No salt, no pepper, no cumin, no oregano, no chiles. Clearly somebody wasnt paying attention. Since we took it home to eat, there was no opportunity to complain. Really afraid to spend more money there.

This place was phenomenal! We came from Salem. The waiter was soo nice! The food was beyond delicious! This was a great mothers day dinner find.

Expensive and average at best.Two Margaritas cost over $21Cold chips and I had to ask for salt 3 times.Our waiter didnt have hardly any tables because the restaurant wasnt crowded at all.He didnt check on us after he brought the food or ask us if we needed anything else.Because of Covid-19 -- Ive made a point of tipping well but he didnt deserve the tip I leftWe wont be back

Rauls is a great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a beer and some tacos on a fun date, or for a family meal. The potato tacos are especially good. The service is very welcoming and friendly, and will ensure you have the most enjoyable experience. In addition, the staff were very attentive to coronavirus precautions and the restaurant has a very clean, well-maintained feel about it.

SUCH GOOD FOOD! And I totally love that they transferred some of the cool Mexican decor and music to a heated outside tent! Even though it was raining, we had a really lovely birthday dinner!

Service is quick, people are nice, food is below sub-par, for proof just order their cheese dip (a yellow soupy sauce). We had the fajitas, very little taste. Again if you want to meet really nice people and quick service go to Raul’s, if you want food that tastes good, stay away.

Ever since my boyfriend and I moved here about 3 years ago, this has been and remains our favorite place to eat. We went just yesterday, and everything was wonderful. Not to mention very generous drink sized! Everything was delicious, and everything is really clean too. I’d recommend it to anyone

Great friendly service, excellent food and portions, separate salsa bar. Immediately you get fantastic chips with bean dip served to your table. Many great dishes on the menu. As must for authentic Mexican food! We will return often!

Pretty darn slow service that required us to find them for the check. They forgot part of our order. They hardly checked on anything we needed. Food was pretty disappointing. The lamb was especially bad.

First time there and I thought the food was wonderful! I was with a picky eater and they enjoyed the food as well.. This may sound odd but, the chips were light and the salsa was not overpowering like somee restaurants make it. I describe the salsa light as well. The service was great!! I will definitely be returning to Rauls.

Great Mexican restaurant! Everything I have had there has been absolutely delicious, whether its appetizer, entree, or drink. The staff is interactive and friendly. The service has always been prompt. I cant say enough good things about this little place. Easy to miss in the Fred Meyer parking lot, but well worth seeking out.

We moved from Arizona and we have been looking for authentic great tasting Mexican food and we found it at Raul’s. We live in Milwaukie and will gladly drive to eat here. We have visited twice and the wait time was a little much but the food made up for it. The chips, salsa and bean dip are worth the visit alone. Food was fresh and full of flavor, the restaurant and restrooms were decorated and very very clean. The service was good, our waiter was very informative and able to make some great recommendations. Our family was seriously impressed! Only feedback I’d leave is making sure drinks didn’t run out. It wasn’t too busy but I had to keep waving someone down for a refill, but that is it! Great place 👍🏼

Great atmosphere and delicious food!!! Good quality, good serving sizes, and the bean dip served with the chips was amazing. The service was surprisingly quick, minimal waiting. The staff was very friendly and genuine, and always attentive without being overbearing like some places. Honestly, they just seemed to magically show up at the right time. Thats what I call amazing service! All around fantastic place, definitely a favorite. You wont regret your visit.

Great food and friendly staff. Very quiet here on a Thursday night, loved it. Their bathrooms are SO fancy, worth a trip.

Strongly recommend the molecajete, their tres enchiladas Mexicanas were also good. The meats are not overly flavored, the salsa is very peppery but very nice.

Surprisingly good restaurant. Dont get offfended by the cheesy decor, food was well seasoned, generously served by the nice waiters. Menu is huge and service was quick.

I got the fajita quesadilla and it was wonderful. The beans were flavorful and I couldnt get enough of them. The staff were nice and checked up on us frequently, even though we were put in a corner.Overall this food was great and I look forward to going there again and exploring more of their menu.
