Raub Durian Orchard - Sejati - Tourist attraction in Kuala Lipis, Malaysia
Recommended! ❣
very expensive. this eddie is a seasoned con man!
near my hometown...good place
friendly owner..entertain guest with his durian knowledge expertise.and the durian itself truely is the KING here..
Wet musang king, 1.3kg for RM50
good place. yummy taste of many type of durian there. lets come here...very good service and freindly
Nice place and great environment.
Arrived early for a morning orchard tour. Stayed for some fresh fruits at a reasonable price 😋😋. Owner and staff were friendly. Great place for a family day trip.
Fresh air & natural farm
Good durians especially the Musang King here were one of the best. But price wise is quite expensive tho.
Would have given zero star rating if this was possible Very rude person. Too calculative and although we confirmed our trip just needed to confirm no of pax as he charges entrance of RM20 per pax. (very steep as it doesn’t cover durian - which he sells at KL price not wholesale price as he claimshe claimed we didn’t confirmed.
Super duper expensive. But get to see the farm though
Eddie is a great host! Our durian reservation slot was postponed and postponed due to the heavy traffic on our way to Eddies Orchard but Eddie was completely cool with it. As most of us are ladies with small appetite, we didnt have much of the durian but rest assure Eddies durian, especially the Musang King was superb! The pricing is also very reasonable and affordable 👍🏼Will definitely return for his durian and delicious mangosteen in future!
The place is amazing with the plantations, fruits and their services! Durians are superb and high quality especially their musang king! Definitely make my comeback soon!
Durians are good and amazing. Pricing is ok because it’s a different kind of experience and especially we are allow into his orchard. We know the durians are from that trees where else in the city it come from everywhere.
The durians are superb and a nice place to explore around the orchard.
A bit over price. the durian having there was nice. But hv 1 take away are not good.
Went there and ordered Musang King and D24. Durian is fresh, so is "pekat", creamy and tasty. Environment is good. Price wise is not much difference from KL. Originally was going to give 4 stars, reduced to 3 because of i saw the staff kicked a dog after i finished the durians.
Owner or staff not friendly at all.
nice durian n place
Nice place
Hi all guys....do you know why all no good durians even from orchards ???...Let me tell u all....all good durian go to exportand orchards no have good durians to sellso he buy from others n sell....and thats y owners dunno how this durians taste....He only have fame n make customers stupid.
absolute ridiculous pricing. this eddie guy charge a lot more then what the market charges. i felt it was absolutely not worth it to drive all the way to his farm for this crazy prices. i felt cheated and conned by this eddie. the musang king he served also wasnt that great. this place should be avoided!
Visited the Orchard during CNY. Eddie, the owner showed me around his farm, I was impressed by the water sprinkler system installed all over the orchard to water the durian trees during dry season.. Water is collected in a pool from streams high up the hills and then using power pump to pump it to every corners of the orchards. He really puts in a lots of effort to ensure the orchard produces quality durians every season. A "small" season is coming in a month or two time. Eddie is hopping for a bumper harvest around August from the so many tiny flower bubs on the trees he pointed out to me. Cant wait to come back.
Our family enjoyed the visit to this farm. Thanks to the owner for his hospitality!
Very expensive. Not worth.
Best of the best fArm here
Nice place anr goof durian
Nice environment to satisfy durian cravings.
Eddie is nice and friendly. The durian is the best. You must visit. The environment are very nice.
Definitely worth a visit. Staff is really friendly and just a really nice tranquil place to sit amd have Durian
i will agree with the comment before. its overpriced. and not worth the journey to this orchard. we paid RM718 for 4pax. durian was so-so only. owner was friendly, haha why wouldnt he be when hes charging that high. avoid this place. got other better place and more reasonable place to go. never returning here, thats for sure.just realise their facebook dont have review section. must be for a reason. i wish i read the comments before driving up there. what a waste of money.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!We drove all the way from KL to Raub, expecting to eat some good quality durians at reasonable price, since were at the orchard so obviously prices should be lower then mainstream places like SS2.BUT DONT BE FOOLED. ITS MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THEN SS2.We ate 5durians, and only 1durian tasted good. Mr Eddie the owner himself opened the durians for us, i told mr Eddie, hey the last few wasnt good, and he nodded. i thought he understood what i meant, but this guy Mr. Eddie is a seasoned durian businessman. (most of them are conmans btwhe knew exactly how to slaughter you.Market in Raub was selling Musang King for RM46/kg, but Eddie sells for RM58/kg. We paid RM800++ for 4people to eat. and we didnt even eat much. Can you imagine driving all the way from KL to Raub, paying the tol and petrol just to get slaughtered by this fella Eddie. Everything is expensive here. go some where else, try another orchard, dont ever go here, unless ur rich and willing to spend on mediocre durians. I give his durians 4/10.It left a bad taste in my mouth, but generally most durian sellers do try to slaughter any customer they can. about 90% of them cant be trusted. sweet talking young looking eddie is one of them. i was shocked that i drove all the way there to be conned like that. well, everyday we learn some thing new. LOLALSO TO BE NOTED :IF you check his facebook page, his review section is blocked or deactivated. WHY?? haha, because too many bad reviews so he blocked it. but in google u cant block,NEVER EVER TRUST ANY BUSINESS THAT BLOCKS THEIR REVIEWS OR COMMENTS ON FACEBOOK. THAT IS THE FIRST SIGN OF A SCAMMER!!I HOPE THIS POST HELPS SOME PEOPLEI HOPE YOU DONT WASTE UR HARD EARN MONEY ON THIS PEOPLE AND PLACE.
Market price now musang king 40/kg.But he charge 50/kg.Better eat at roadside stall.
Confirm first before going. If out of season... no fruit... just the tree.
Nice place to enjoy good quality DURIAN.. Tq. eddie.
The place are only open during weekends! Drove all the way here for nothing. The place looks run down and under construction, not much durian trees are seen maybe not the right season.
The place doesnt look expensive. Why do they need to charge expensive when they do not have to pay expensive rental? MUST pay first before you eat. The durian was subpar standard and that even its SS2 Durian rivalry could beat them(with cheaper prices as well). Dont recommend federalians as well as fellow singaporeans to drive all the way up to taste their nasty durians. We called 5 but only 1 had tasted delicious. You would suffer huge amount of wear&tear on your car as you travel all the way here. The last few kilometres of the journey was wide that it could only fit one car on the main road . You need minimally a range rover to climb up all the way to the durian orchard otherwise your other vehicles would blow out easily. *Due to the steepness and amount of energy needed to push up a vehicle to the hill* Such a poor experience:(
Higher price than other durian farms in Raub area!
So so only
Nice durian n other fruits plantation
Too expensive...
Drove all the way and no local durians... just D24 and Musang King. Cant choose the fruits and must pay first. Verdict: Bad experience! The D24 were not fresh and prices at RM35/kg. Musang King also not great. Very disappointing as we were looking forward to great local durians.Wouldnt mind so much if the fruits were fresh.. but alas, even that was missing.I find the vendor at Hartamas has better choice durians!
Price is quite commercialise... especially Coconut at RM5 per fruit.
Good work
To climb to the orchard u need a 4 wheel drive. The durian superb but very pricey.
Make sure you have contacted the person in charge before you go. It was closed on Sunday on 4 Jun 2017.
Drove all the way following the Google map from KL hoping to see what a Durian orchard is like. There last few km road is just wide enough for one car. Unfortunately I couldnt find the place and I drive back out again. I called The mobile number and was told that May is not the season.. October is... I should think that they should have put a sign to tell travellers not to come when durian is out of season and a water trip.
