Rasoi by Vineet - Indian restaurant in Manama, Bahrain
We had be surrounded by delectable food.. especially the Vegetable Samosa was so deliciousOverall we loved the restaurant atmosphere.. the service ..
Great food, great presentation and great service by staff!!
It is the best Indian Restaurant in Bahrain if not in the gulf region. If you want to eat great briani and musallas, this is the place you want to be at. Great food accompanied with a great service led by the restaurant manager Mr. Sri and his great team. Definitely we will be back and very soon.
Nothing wow about the food. Service was good.
Had a Wonderful experience @Rasoi Gulf Hotel. It was My Parents 39th Wedding Anniversary, they decorated the table, delicious Cake and everything was Superb… Special Thanks to Sri the F&B manager, he was really Pleasant and well organized. And a Big shout out to Deviprasad for Serving us some delicious Food making us feel Comfortable…We had ordered the Set Menu and it was Pretty Good , the only problem was by the time Main course came we were already full with Starters and Appetizers. And to end with Tempting Deserts… All in all we had a Very Good Time .
Hands down the best Indian Fine Dining restaurant in the island.🙌🏻Recommend : Bombay dreams cocktail, Pav chena pin, Tandoori prawns, Biriyani Rajasthani lamb chops. The coriander nan and roti could be better.Soft live music 🎶 would enhance the dining experience.Overall very satisfied and highly recommended. Now for the M Star rating (1-10)Taste : 8.5Ambiance : 9Plating : 9Service : 7.5Location : 8Value for money : 8Overall rating : 8.8
The best food that we ever had in town. We were slurping the rabri with Rasmalai. That was just out of the world. Aloo saag and Eggplant curry on the vegetarian side was awesome, so was the prawn soup. My friends at the lunch table were just in awe. The chef Tej was kind enough to come to our table upon request. Arun and Deviprasad were respectful and made us feel comfortable at home. Rasoi is my all-time favourite now.
Bahrains Finest Indian Restaurant 🇧🇭🇮🇳Rasoi by Vineet - where authentic flavourscome to life, plated beautifully in an exotic setting. All food items are prepared fresh and served hot with just the perfectly styled presentation 👌The staff service is excellent.Few of my favorites are:▫️Anardana chicken tikka - fruit raita▫️Amla-malai lobster, bhuna masala, tossed vegetables▫️ Crispy fried coconut- kunafe seafood trio▫️Theekha amrudh - spiced guava Mocktail▫️ Matka cardamom- kesar kulfi, angoori rasmalai
If you need to taste the real indian food, try Rasoi , restaurant and staff are very nice
Excellent plating, Very good ambience, prompt and good service, however the authentic Indian element is definitely missing.
If you want a fine dining experience, this is the place to be. If you are celebrating a bday or an anniversary, they would make it even more special. My husband had surprised me for our 10th anniversary. The table was decorated elegantly and from the starters everything was on point. The staff were very welcoming. From the beverages to the starters, through main course and an amazing surprise cake for anniversary! Everything was smooth and delicious. Light on stomach too. Flavours were on point. Not overwhelming at all. Since we had an amazing experience at indego by vineet in Qatar, we knew this was the place to celebrate our special day.. Thanks chef Vineet for this amazing ambiance and lip smacking food. To feel the class, do visit
The best Indian cuisine in Bahrain by far
Restaurant of Vineet Bhatia ; First & only Indian to recieve 2 Michelin stars. Nice Ambience . Tried their limited Rainbow Set Menu which was presented very well. The Rainbow menu was Good value for money + an additional discount given for SCB cards.Service Staff was very good but the manager had an attitude issue not acceptable. Wont go again but would definitely recommend 👍
One of the finest and most beautiful Indian restaurants in the Kingdom of Bahrain for me, as it serves the most delicious Indian dishes such as biryani, makani and naan
Amazing food although I am not super fan of Indian cuisines, but I was so happy with the food, super delicious! Wonderful internal design it shocked me that we have a restaurant like this in bahrain, and the prices are very reasonable comparing to other high end restaurant in ritz for example.
Gorgeous decor, delicious foodAnd very attentive staff! Very quiet in Covud times which is such a pity because this place is mad for social distancing and the staff ate exemplary in keeping patrons safe.
Superb fare.Ideal for business lunch with right kind of space and decor.Lunch starts from 12.00.Have option of set menu and alacarte
Exceptional Service! Super Delicious food, Best Biryani in Bahrain defiantly coming again.
Amazing food, Amazing ambience and amazing hospitality. Highly recommended.
Food taste well balanced, excellent service. Definitely will come again.
Rasoi is probably the best high class Indian dining experience in Bahrain. However, the price tag is a little steep, which is a given as you are paying for quality. I tried most of the dishes and I have not had a poor experience as of yet. So why the 4 star rating? 1. I find the seats very uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time, I wish they could modify the seats to something more comfortable for the patron. 2. It is expensive, even with the prestige club discount. Food and service are 5 stars, ambiance is a 4. AMEX and most other major credit cards are accepted. Discount available for NSA Bahrain personal if not a prestige club member.
Didn’t enjoy the authentic Indian food. The food is not bad but missing some ingredients that will add value and better taste.I only enjoyed the complementary dish !!This is my 2nd visit to Vineet’s restaurant the first was is Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.Yet, the Experience was unfortunately the same.I think Vineet should visit his restaurants frequently and add his magic touch to the food. The restaurant is 50% empty and baby’s are allowed !!
Truly a five-star experience in this restaurant. It’s located inside Gulf Hotel in Adliyah, and has the best Indian cuisine I’ve tried in Bahrain so far.Excellent service without a doubt, very delicious food, friendly staff, and a variety of meal choices (vegetarian friendly too).Must try!
Excellent fine indian dinning...The staff was so friendlyDefinitely i will come again
Definitely an amazing restaurant for all those who want to eat food based on quality than quantity. The flavor that comes out of each dish and its dressings is really what I liked about the place and very friendly chefs and attendants.
Giving it a 4 star rating because my past experience had been good. The last time we went, it was after COVID restrictions have been eased and the quality of food has gone down drastically. Far better restaurants out there.
Nice ambience. High end and chic. Nice for special occasions and celebrations. Better to book a table in advance. Busy on weekends. Parking is easily available. Chats and kulfi are must have.
Went to the Rasoi restaurant in the Gulf Hotel during Covid. Had to pre-book the table and was asked to sign a self health declaration of travel, health condition of self and family members. We went for the set menu (as we were 4 members). The starters were great - lamb kabab, mustard chicken Tikka (very good), samosa with cheese and tandoori prawns with coconut chutney(unique combination).Main course included, fish Malai masala, dal tadka, chicken Tikka masala and the lamb biryani. Fish MALAI masala was unique as it had cheese topping, not tasted it anywhere else. The chicken Tikka was disappointing.. Lamb biryani was nothing special. The deserts were great with mango kulfi, salted caramel kulfi and chocolate chikki.
We visited the other day, we chose the set menu, the starters were delicious, but the main course were very average. The service was good though. We will try their normal menu next time, to see how good it will be
We planned to visit the restaurant on occasion of our wedding anniversary and we informed them on very short notice about the reservation. The management was quick enough to contact me for organising our table. When we visited the first impression on ambience was just fabulous. One of the best ambience we have seen in a restaurant so far.The staff is very professional and they are quite pleasant. We were greeted warmly and the staff took good care of us during our stay. Now comes the food part which is why we visited this place. The food is pretty delicious and there are so many new recipes never heard of. We are pure vegetarians but it did not matter with whatever they had in store for us. The food was superb and we were full within no time.On the price I would say its bit on higher end but you got to cut loose so as to experience that kind of hospitality and service with fabulous ambience and ofcourse delicious food.Chef Vineet would be proud to be part of this restaurant.
Eating here will change your life. Their menu items dont have the typical indian name so it might be hard to recognise a familiar dish but why not try something new? You wont regret it! The head chef and his team pour their hearts and minds into their food. Every bite exudes a fiery passion for Indian flavour. Rasoi delivers Indian cuisine under a unique visage of elegance that should be experienced by everyone.
This restaurant was recommended by one of my friends. I liked my experience, the food was very delicious and the service was great. It is located inside Alkhaleej hotel. They offer good Indian food & Amerciano coffee as well.
You can’t go wrong with Rasooi and chef Vineet, everything is amazing
As Ive said before. Vineet and the team never fail to impress. Fantastically executed dishes. Lovely flavours and super friendly service. Thank you for making my birthday a joyfull one. 10/10 please check my Instagram for further reviews. @nikstewart28
Great place to entertain. Ambience is great. If youd like to try Indian food with style then this is the place. The food is also great. The chef is renowned and does tasting menus from time to time. Well worth a visit.
It lived up to its stellar reputation. We enjoyed an assortment of dishes (fish, lentils, curries, items I can’t even pronounce, etc. lol). Beautiful ambiance inside as well!
[Mar-2019] yes overpriced but worth it. Rasoi at Gulf hotel, might have many unique dishes, but it shines on the causal Indian cuisine. The vegetables Biryani or any type of Biryani is a must in this restaurant. Also, you must try the chicken butter chicken butter curry. Service in this restaurant is excellent. Overall its recommended, just dont over order, you will be filled quickly with complimentary flat bread.
We went for my husbands birthday lunch. The table was specially decorated for us and the staff sang Happy birthday when they brought the desserts. The food was delicious and the service excellent as usual.
The service was as exceptional as was the food..Indian food on a whole new level, a level I have not experienced before except at Rasoi and which I throughrouhly enjoyed. I would recommend Rasoi in a heartbeat. And if you ever want to go there for a special occasion, whatever that occasion may be, give them a call and the staff would ensure everything turns out as perfectly as you would like.
Great service provided. Nice atmosphere. The dishes a bit creative. The portion not big, enough just for one person.Reasonable prices served in 5 star hotel.I recommend Cheese nan as starter and chicken Tikka masala as main course.
Went with Family Group. Our first visit. Staff were ever smiling and made all of us comfortable. Service was excellent. Great taste. Superb presentation. They went out of their way to meet demands of kids in our group though it was not present in the Menu.Would highly recommend for that special occasion.
By far the best Indian restaurant in Bahrain. The service is top class, the food menu will appeal to all tastes, very good selection of Vegetarian dishes as well. The restaurant itself is large and can accommodate large families or groups and the decor is elegant.
The best fine dining restaurant in Bahrain. Very nice ambience. Located in Gulf hotel. Nice food and service. . High end and chic. Nice for special occasions and celebrations. Better to book a table in advance. Busy on weekends. Parking is easily available. Chats and kulfi are must have.
Very very expensive but I loved this place. It was rather empty when we visited but the staff, service and food was great. The ambience in the restaurant was very grand too. The food you get served is Indian with a modern take and really really tasty. A good experience if you would like to visit an Indian restaurant by a Michelin star chef. A place worth visiting for a special occasion.
one of the best Indian restaurants in town .. the chef himself being there gave it a great touch.. thank you very much chef vineet for making our meal extra special..
Perfection in dining! Dinner for two recently, enjoyed a nice quiet evening in Rasoi. We were promptly greeted and shown to a delicately appointed table. Our host and server called me by my first name the whole night. We began with Konkani chicken. This semi-spicy lightly fried chicken was served with green and red grilled capsicum. The server brought us some tasty orange sorbet in between. For dinner, we had the lamb korma and lemon-thyme chicken. Amazing! Dessert was the Rasoi sampler. Perfect ending to a perfect experience at this Michelin restrateurs establishment.
A wonderful experience in dinning at Rasoi, highly recommended for family, couples or a with friends...
Unique amongst the Gulf Hotel restaurants, Rasoi stands out for its beautiful setting matched equally by its exquisite food. A tranquil and chic decor sets the mood for a wonderful meal which is equally impressive in its plating and service by the meticulously detailed staff. Food is full of flavors, all working in harmony and subtlety to give you rich Indian cuisine. Excellent wine choices to pair with the food also. A restaurant that is a fabulous date night or special occasion, as the prices are commensurate with its richly decorated and secluded interior. My opinion, it is the best Indian food and dining experience in the island.
Very bad service . We booked for birthday party , when we arrived there is no signs of a party for us even though there was other tables that had decorations for birthday party . They said , they didn’t prepare because it was not clear for them , even though we sent an email that said birthday party .The Indian manager was very rude . He shouted at us in front if every one like were not customers whom pay for this cheap restaurant. Its such a shame that gulf hotel with bad serive and rude behavior . Will Never Go Back To This Bad Restaurant. The food is not even worth it . Bad strong indian flavor and served cold
I love the atmosphere and the service was great. The food was very good.
