Rasoi Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Banjul, Gambia
Amazing! The food and the owner. He is a cook from Bombay and really knows what he does. Food is absolutely delicious, and you can get drinks as well!
A very nice surprise in the heart of bustling Bakau! We were looking for a restaurant and we found this one, very good indian cuisine, well served, spicy enough and well prepared. The cook is from India, so it has the real taste. We ordered onion bhaji, chicken tika masala and paneer tika masala, all them were very good. The service is nice. Maybe a bit overpriced, D1000 for 2 persons, including drinks, but that is ok considering we were used to eat rice and fish every day.
This restaurant USED to be good!I have had takeaways from here a number of times - all good.2 weeks ago I ordered about 5,000d worth of takeaway - and:* on checking at home 1 dish short* 2 Spag Bol had cheese - ordered withoutI went to see them and was refunded the dish missing. I was told Id have to wait until my next order to get Spag Bol replaced.I always freeze food, and had chicken biryani and sauce week 1 - biryani stuck together, horribly greasy, and tasteless.Yesterday I had prawn biryani and sauce. Even worse.Ive had to throw the remaining 4 biryani away - total waste of money. On both occasions - shortage/wrong Spag Bol and prob with biryani Ive whats apped them - ignored. Its sad - theyve throwing business away. NEVER AGAIN
A small Indian restaurant, super good tastes and very friendly staff. I had Hyderabad Biryani - hearty and spicy and very good. You can drink a beer and the choice on the menu is very large.Their command of the English language is less impressive but we went there for the food: that was well worth the trip.
Tandoori was dry and the service was a little poor. I feel like maybe if I had tried more foods it would be ok, but it’s not very cheap so coming by myself I couldn’t have a wide variety without paying too much. I’ve been here over an hour and all they’ve done is bring my food and never checked to see if I needed anything. I’ve had better in The Gambia.
A hidden gem. No frills restaurant which is very unassuming from the outside but the food is consistently fantastic and very reasonably priced (the food is as good as any of the the Indian restaurants near by but at a fraction of the cost). Service is usually very quick as well. I have yet to have a bad meal here! My main criticism would be the toilets which definitely need an upgrade and which stop this place being 5 stars. That said - if you are looking for cheap food and a great Indian this is the place to go!
Tasty food and reasonable prices. Amazing Saag Aloo.
Omg....my bloodddddd oozing
Heerlijk plekje niet luxe maar prima eten.
My personal favorite for Indian food. The food is moderately expensive but the taste is better than even the Clay Oven whose prices are higher. Very authentic taste and consistency for the Indian dishes offered.
Unhygienic food and it doesnt taste good either.
