Ramsey Golf & Country Club in Ramsey

Went for a birthday party only. Facilities and grounds very nice and well kept. Food was outstanding. Country clubs are not my thing, always feel like its so overpriced. But Facilities were nice. Service was very good too. Staff very friendly.

Lovely setting and great food at the restaurant or the venue called The Abby. The views of the golf course are breathtaking.

My daughters Wedding was held on June 4th 2022. Michael and his staff were incredible. From the planning to the actual wedding the director of Catering MIchael was very responsive and hands on leaving no stone unturned. The Ramsey County Club will be my no. 1 choice for all family and business events in the future

We just had our daughters wedding here on 4-23-22...there are not enough superlatives...lets just say OUTSTANDING and PERFECT...and Michael Treible is a superstar and runs the show...this location is a perfect venue for a wedding or ANY event...the food, the staff, and the overall experience was 5 star !

Went there Easter 2022. Great food, great service as always from RGCC. I did take 2 stars off however, because the food was exposed and was not shielded by a sneeze guard and the serving utensils were touched by everyone. We still live in a COVID world and I am surprised the RGCC didnt take better precautions. Probably wont go back for any buffet type function.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in December 2021. We had a fantastic experience - we love RGCC!The grounds are beautiful (see our pics!), the food was great, and the staff is excellent. Every staff member we worked with went above and beyond in quality of service. Special shout out to Patty, who waited on us at our food tasting and then waited on us again at the sweetheart table for the reception. We incorporated ethnic catering into the cocktail hour & dessert and the staff didnt miss a beat.I cant leave a review without highlighting Michael, the director of catering and our maitre d. Read other reviews - Im not the only one raving about him. We had absolutely no worries or concerns on our wedding day, even with all the COVID craziness happening. Michael took care of everything. He is truly exceptional at what he does.

My sister is going to have my neices shower here in the summer. This place is like a little castle. Alot of charm! Michael was a joy to work with and very accommodating! His prices were better then we hoped for. I cant wait until the shower. I can vision all the beauty that this place has to offer.

We had our wedding here Oct 10th and I am so grateful I found this place. Michael and Dennis along with everyone else were so amazing from the start of the day to the very end. Michael is everything you need and we were so comfortable with him as he works with you from the time you view the venue to getting into that limo to drive off. The food is still being talked about from my guests. I wish I could many more events there but cannot wait to see them again for our one year anniversary!

The grounds are gorgeous. Food is delicious. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Great space to take wedding pick next to lake area its gonna look fabulous in fall with the trees. Lots of areas to move around. Classed in room was gorgeous. Great place.

This place is truly beautiful! The amenities are top notch and the greens are some of the best not only in the county, but in the state. The catering manager(Michaelis really out going and gracious. My family loves the food and the dining room staff is really great! The entire staff at Ramsey Golf & Country Club deserves a round of applause!!!

The food is good just not as good as they charge for the price. I dont mind paying for food but the quality has to be there to match it

We had our wedding here in October. From the beginning of the planning process, through Covid-19 date changes and other restrictions put in place, we all had an amazing time. The delicious food, the beautiful venue, the professional staff - all flawless. But for us, what made our experience extra special was Michael Treible. He responded quickly to every email, was extremely accommodating and on the day of the wedding was completely hands on. He made sure everything went off without a hitch, we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

This is a great place for a wedding reception. Good food with a beautiful view of the golf course. Lunch here today was beautifully prepared and very tasty.

In August 2019 my husband and I had our wedding reception at the Ramsey Golf & Country Club and we HIGHLY recommend this venue! The beauty of the Abby and the grounds can’t be beat, the food is so delicious and the staff is very professional! Michael and Maggie are beyond amazing and helped bring our wedding vision to life. They really care about the success of your wedding and help bring all the moving parts together in the most perfect way! We had the most magical wedding day thanks to the amazing people at the Ramsey Golf & Country Club! Our wedding guests had the greatest time and they’re still talking about how much fun they had! We will definitely be back for our future events! Thank you for everything RG&CC!

Beautiful venue for weddings and other special events. They have indoor and outdoor areas for the ceremony, reception, photos, etc. Food is good. Theres also a golf course. Great views of the lake.

Found this place on Open Table. It was, for the setting and quality, shockingly inexpensive. Good and service were great. Menu felt a little limited but there were several standouts. Duck Curry was amazing. Everything we ordered ranged from really good to excellent. Flavors were just different enough to be interesting. Would definitely go back.

Wow is truly all I have to say about this incredible place. The second we saw the space, we knew it was the right place for our wedding. It has a beautiful stone abbey that was symbolic of a castle, which Ive always wanted and a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space. All of the food was excellent beyond measure and the staff was on point all night. Anything you need, they were there 2 minutes before we asked for it. The fact that they wanted us to have our ceremony outside despite and unexpected change in weather and knowing its importance to us was amazing. Michael went above and beyond and so did the bridal attendant, Maggie. Id recommend to anyone looking for a rustic, yet elegant vibe for their wedding.Danielle and Michael

The food and menu was recently revamped since my last visit. Whoever the new head chef is, accolades to him or her! The club is just right for any and every occasion. The restaurant, dining, and ballroom add a diverse selection of ambiance’s and is for all seasoned diners. Whatever the event, the club can accommodate.

Great golfing here. And the grounds are very scenic and more so at certain times of day if you time it right. We had a several great meals, but one time we had an issue where our calamari was overcooked. Now, english is not my frist language and I have trouble sometimes getting my thoughts out, it can be frustrating. This cook called Jim came out and gets angry with me and tells me I dont know what Im talking about and says hell replace it but he completely ruined the mood so we just called the meal there and left. On our way out, our server told us he isnt surprised since Jim was allergic to seafood. I feel very bad for this cook.Please avoid Jim.

Had my brothers wedding here and it is a beautiful venue. The food was terrific. And every worker makes you feel at home. Definitely recommend for any type of event you plan to have.

My rating is based on the pool and lake front.Beautiful. Nice atmosphere. Nice employees. Pool is run well.

The RG&CC was the first venue I visited while planning my wedding. After meeting Michael and touring the grounds I knew I didnt have to look anywhere else. First of all the venue is beautiful. It is definitely not your typical gaudy New Jersey venue. It is soft and romantic, straight out of a fairy tail! However what really sold us on this venue was the director of catering, Michael. From the moment we met with him he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was not pushy, but extremely open and informative, which I loved because you can tell this was not a business to him. He makes it a priority to make you feel like youre the only bride that matters, not just another number. I love that there is only event held at a time here because you know all of the staff is focused on yourself and your guests. The day of our wedding everything went extremely smooth. We were checked on constantly by Michael and his assistant Maggie. I was kept in the loop about everything that was going on with all of my vendors, I felt very comfortable knowing everything was going according to plan. The ceremony, cocktail hour & reception were all perfect. I could not have asked for a better day! My guests are still talking about the delicious food, the beautiful grounds, and the impecable service. Thank you so much to the RC&CC for making our dreams come true!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at RGCC on 01/14/18. This was the most amazing wedding venue! Working with Michael was so easy and seamless from our very first tour. The space is totally unique and offers so many beautiful photo opportunities. The food tasting was so much fun, and every single thing we tasted was delicious. The night of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Michael and his team made sure that everything was set up exactly how I imagined, and all of the special events we had planned worked out flawlessly. The country club was truly the best place to make so many lasting memories with loved ones.

The baby back ribs are fall-off-the-bone fantastic and the portions generous. Service is excellent as well.

We have our Christmas banquet here every year, great party room attentive staff and moderately priced.

I came here for a friends wedding and i have to say not only was I impressed with the setup this venue did, but damn the food was really good. The staff were great and the ambiance is very nice. Its not a big place, but it is very beautiful on the inside. If youre going to try something, definitely try the risotto.

Great wedding venue. Indoor and outdoor ambiances were impressive. The stonework was unreal. Great cocktail hour apps.

Service was good but food didnt measure up again. Over cooked calamari and undercooked burgers.

Great Rustic Building. Food was good. Very nice setting. It was at night but, grounds seemed very nice as well.

Great local spot. Cozy bar with friendly bartenders and live music on Thursday and some Saturday nights.

The Ramsey Country Club has nice atmosphere overlooking the golf course, an outstanding staff, giving great service, wonderful food and they even have entertainment as well, great place!

Had My daughters wedding there on 10/3/15 (Brian and Tracy). Food was amazing, atmosphere gorgeous, service was the best. Michael is wonderful and everything he said would happen did. The wedding was absolutely perfect and everyone is talking about it. I think it was the most delicious food and best organized wedding I have ever been to. Five stars is not enough!!
