Ramen vs Marketing - Ramen restaurant in Kiev, Ukraine
Best ramen on Town!!Excellent and fast service, tasty flavor.I ordered a spicy 🔥 ramen with pork, and a lemonade
Delicious, tasty dishes and really large portions. Its the best choice if you wanna to full up your stomach and enjoy as well.Very loyal personnel which will help you to chose and define what could better to mix. Highly reccomed this place.
Not particularly the least attractive place to invite friends but definitely not the most authentic taste you can find around. Honestly the worst ramen in Kyiv so far. Something different - yes, something worth trying again - no.
Amazing Ramen in a cool laid back atmosphere! Chef Zhenya talked us through the menu and gave us some great suggestions on what to order - will definitely be back!
Tasty ramen and fast & friendly service. We enjoyed. Will go back for sure.
Let me just say: simply the best ramen Ive tried so far. Ok, maybe I dont eat it very often, but I definitely have a warm place in my heart for this one. We had ramen with tofu, spicy one - perfect spicyness, extremely generous portion. Cozy place, very sweet staff. I guess a bit hard to find but at least its not too crowdy.
First and most importantly, this is NOT ramen. Ramen is a specific Japanese cuisine, just having noodles in soup doesn’t make it ramen. We browsed the official website of the restaurant, and the owner/cook stated he has never been to Japan or tried ramen. Quote: “I’ve never eaten ramen until I began developing my own recipe.” This is ridiculous to call yourself a ramen restaurant when you don’t know what real ramen is. Maybe this important message should be posted in the restaurant. If I have to forget that it is supposed to be ramen and just comment on the food, the noodles are a bit too soft and they got stuck together. The broth tasted like salted water with spicy oil. The seaweed salad with sesame sauce is good tho.Overall, if you crave for ramen, this is NOT the place. If you just want some noodles with soup to balance all the Ukrainian cuisine you had, then maybe you can give it a try.
Best ramen i have ever eaten.Waitress was very smiley, helpfully and interested. Cute nice lovely place and perfect taste.
Nice place for eating ramen in Kyiv.Located at inner yard. Not big place. However, it has special atmosphere.
Tasty Ramens and lamp atmosphere 🍵
Very fast service, great presentation, and affordable prices. The ramen noodles and broth are very good though not as flavorful as I would have liked.
Very tasty noodle soup, noodles texture was really good. Service was perfect. Veggie option available. Strongly recommended!
Japanese Ramen in Ukraine. Good ramen at the tiny spot. Place gets very busy and service is very slow. They can messed up your your so make sure you check what you get in your soup.
Really tasty and healthy (wholegrain noodles)
Very true and tasty street food, probably best ramen in town
I could eat the tofu all day. Im not a ramen broth connoisseur, it wasnt too my taste. I had the shoyu. Next time I go I might try miso. The Thai cold tea is out of this world. It is so ridiculously good. The lemonade tasted like grapefruit. It was really refreshing and I had to stop myself from drinking it all before I even got my lunch.
Tasty casual ramen with good quality and simple recipe, I recommend this place if you want to try ramen in Kyiv downtown.
Used to be solid 5 stars. Noodles recipe mustve changed since I was here last year. No longer the best Ramen in town, but still very good. Service is great and friendly and the atmosphere is unique considering the location. Go for yourself to check it out, I think you will enjoy both the food and setting.
Could have used a little bit more of "client guiding" as to what are the dishes like and how hot basically it is. Mine portion was so hot (considering the fact they use Carolina reaper for sauceI wasnt able to finish it, had a few bytes and thats it. However, I enjoyed the chuka salad with their original sauce and the Thai tea 😅
Best ramen in the entire city! I got the spicy ramen with chicken and it was very delicious. It was properly spicy unlike some of the other options available in Kiev and had great broth and assortment of ingredients. Highly recommend if you want to try something different.
First time visited Ramen vs Marketing. Thanks waitress, she recommended to take baby ramen miso and add some broth if the soup will be stodgy or salty, thats what Ive done. Success 😃Love this place!Highly recommended!
Came back to change my review because it’s the second time I am getting a severe food poisoning from this place; ended up going to a doctor because of how bad it got.Tastes great, but eat at your own risk. Also perhaps not the best place to go to in middle of a pandemic due to the size of this place.
Old-fashioned rice with kimchi and Shoyu ramen with tofu on chicken bouillon - very good
A very small crowded place usually with a small line of people waiting at the entrance. Almost like in Japan. Thankfully its not the only thing looking authentic here - the main dish is a classy bowl of tasty ramen. You just cant go wrong with a combination of chicken broth, shoyu and umami.
The ramen is great, also the thai tea is worth trying.
I was here few times but the last one disappointed me a lot. The noodles are hard AF and look like it’s the cheapest ones from the store, not hand made (previously it was more rounded).10 min walk from your place you have a good competitor and I was there few days before, ramen is 5 times more tasty there, noodles are soft and the place is cozy and there’s 5 times more space. With your current quality they can beat you with one hand.
Super cool underground place that people are not aware of. Perfect for getting introduced to real Ramen. The place is small as it should be, and crowded. You need to stand in the line to have a place to eat. Hurry up while eating, let others enjoy the good food!
It’s a bit difficult to find. You have to go through an arch and even after we recognized it more by the elk than the small sign in the door.We ended up not eating here as it was rather busy in Saturday night and the only places left were by the door where it could have been a bit cold.It did seem nice though and I look forward to eating here once.
Amazing ramen! Ordered a classic shio with chicken, it was super yummy. Dont let the queue discourage you, the ramen is totally worth the wait!
One of my favourite place with unbelievably tasty noodles. Pay attention to the timetable! It is small place with hand made noodles. All the tables can be occupied, you may have to wait your turn on the street, but worth it! vegetarian options available.
Fast service, awesome food.Little space, but still nice and cozy.Reminds me a lot of my favorite place in SF, special credit for that one)))
For Kitchen and ManagementThis is 3rd time visit. Quality has been getting worse. Soup should be much hotter and noodle is too hard. (I understand the concept of noodle). It’s better improve hole staff’s compensation in order to upgrade service quality and hospitality. At least request to take accurate order and better seat assignment. I wait for improvement
Amazing noodles - a hidden gem in Kiev. Maybe not as hidden though, as people are queuing up and waiting quite a while to grab a table (just a few insideand one of those bowls of deliciousness.
When you want to eat extra spicy noodles, it is a perfect place 🔥
Good portions. Very minimalistic eat and go style. Freshly made noodles.
Small place with an Asian soul! (Hidden in a yard)Food is quite tasty! Portions are big, for me Regular (babywas enough👌🏻Not a place for a date, but for a friends meeting:)Prices are average
This place is hidden inside a yard. There is a line to get the food!..The ramen is very tasty also the drinks are very particular. This is simply very cool!
We went there on Sunday and it was pretty busy considering the fact that it’s not the city center. The place looks really authentic, staff is nice. We’ve got our food really fast. I really enjoyed my ramen! There are to “but’s”.1limited spaces. Get ready to wait in line until you actually get seated.2the location. It’s really hard to find it.Otherwise great experience! Must go!
So, I am guessing I am not big fun of noodles, or maybe I had them enough in China. Anyhow the place is not consistent in their consept. Calling noodles by Japanese name ramen, serving them in Chinese bowls and the interior is screaming Hong Kong. But, Ive been told its the best noodles in town.
You may have to wait in line for a bit, but it is well worth the wait. The noodles are handmade right in front of you. I laugh that the menu says they’ve never been to Japan or are trying to copy their methods, but simply providing their Ukrainian take on ramen. The result is duzhe smachno. I’ll make a lunch stop here my next time in Kyiv.
Have never tried ramen before and this was my first one. Ive chosen baby Shoyu with double nori and it was just wonderful! Hopefully my husband ordered standard bowl, so I helped him a bit. Still remember its taste. If I ever come to Kyiv again, I would defo visit the place again!
Great food. Authentic and tasty. Owners of place has a great understanding of Japan pasta traditions. At the same time current staff is not that welcoming. I understand that we were in mid day of lunch but it is not approval for being neglecting to customer.
Nice place with Chinese food. Small room but very comfortable. Be careful, no credit card allowed. Just cash.
I took the baby basic ramen with a portion of tofu. I was near $3.I liked the taste and the place.Even though it is hidden in the back yard, after 5 pm it likely to be crowded.
Great spot! Its kind of hidden and doesnt look like much, but the noodles are fantastic.
Good ramen soup. Spicy means really spicy here. Very small, but interesting interior, probably gets full very often. Ive got little bit confused by the prices.
As a traveller & a foodie this is the type of place that you dream of. Its located in the basement of a soviet era block of flats just note that the access is in the court yard. They have a few dishes but I took the large shiro ramen and a birch water both I can highly recommend the ramen was absolutely delicious and on par with some I have had in Japan. Its run by a cool your team and some speak English so dont me scared. It was one of my foodie highlights while I was in Kiev.It all cost around $4
I had the spicy vegetarian option. They made sure I wanted it "full" spicy. Ive found spicy food in Eastern Europe generally pretty mild, so of course I went with the full spicy option. Wow. Incredible flavour, but also very spicy. The tofu was excellent as well. Favourite Asian place in Kiev. Im definitely going back.
Cody place, friendly atmosphere, fast serving and fair charges. A bit hidden, as you enter through the backyard, but worth every step.
Such a cosy place with delicious ramen. Its quite difficult to find such an authentic Japanese flavour these days but this place is amazing. Try for yourself wont be disappointed
