- there is no parking on-site, you have to find somewhere else (and pay for it)- No access to stairs (what happens in case of fire?)- no minibar- the heating system is very loud and in my room only worked on cooling

Very outdated hotel. Needs complete update. I will not stay here again.

Pros - The building is well decored and designed . The room is at the right size , nice view .Cons - I found the bed not comfortable at all , compared to the few previous hotel I stayed at the nights before . Considering the fact I came to sleep in the hotel, the ranking is accordingly . Breakfast had no wide offering for vegetarians .

We cacelled our reservations because the terms of the reservation were not respected - we arrived at the parking, we called the number and we were advised to search ourselfs a public parking space because the parking is reserved for other guests. We were shoked by this terrible customer service, and we search imediatelly for an alternative hotel who can respect their clients.

Amazing city views from the suite. So dated, you could call it vintage

Wanna be 4 stars hotel!- we did not receive any parking lot, had to search for public, 10 minutes walk - it is really not acceptable for a hotel this size- room not clean. We literally found the dirty towel and socks of the guests before us- very unfriendly reception- fridge in the room not working, no mini bar- I had to insist twice to receive a second entry card for my wifeDefinitely not worth the money!

After 12 hours of driving we arrived at the hotel which simply did not have any parking lots. The few ones are all very fast ocuppied and reservation is not possible. With a car full of luggages it took us 1 hour to find a public parking lot in Sibiu, since the hotel is in the city center.Very unpolite reception employee not willing to provide any help.AVOID

Horrible!!! The air conditioning does not work, it is preset, it cannot be adjusted to a bearable temperature, so I had a nightmare night with an unbearable temperature. I just noticed that the majority of reviews are related to this aspect.Too bad about the position of the hotel, which is very close to the old center.

A big disappointment, has nothing to to with Ramada standards.I am trying to find a plus for this hotel and is very hard to find.Is located in the center, a very little paid parking spot- 5 euro per day but you dont know about it at check in because you are offered with the only option 10 euro per day at garage.On the other hand in front of the hotel, accros the street is a payed public parking- a day is around 2 euro. Unfortunately customer care at check in is low level, after many questions I found out the parking is zone C and the numbers where you can send sms to pay.At the check in I was informed that for mini bar you have to go at the reception to buy what you need. I asked about the breakfast, this information was not given by default. Only the information that WIFI available -no password needed.The room was a big disappointment: a lot of dust, no water, the sleepers- instead of 2 just one, for one leg. The bathroom not really clean. Is the first hotel where the room was not cleaned at all during my stay. They offer complementary coffee and tea but no refill. You have to wash your cup if you want to drink another coffee or tea. An empty mini fridge you have inside the room.Breakfast has some fruits, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, some mornings eggplants salad, humus, olives, fried patatoes, vegetables (zucchini, pepper, mashrooms). Also cheese and ham.At the check out you have an express chechout, just drop off the key.Also a hairdresser and manechiure available near reception.Just across the Ramada is another hotel My continental, a better option by far.I do not recommend at all this hotel: need a lot of improvement regarding cleaness, customer care and treat the customer as they should treat in this business.

Good conference hall for events

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. One of the best hotels in Sibiu. Professional Services and professional staff. Friendly environment for kids.

Cannot tell anything about the rooms, as I attended only events and conferences so far. But in this respect I strongly recommend AGAINST IT.. Avoid it if you can. It is an abomination in terms of good taste and maintenance. Just look at the stairs an carpets and youll get the point. For the good taste the overall appearance of the interiors will provide enough evidence.

One of the worst hotel i have stayed. You must call multiple times to ask them to clean up the room. If you dont call, they wont come. Even if you hang the make up room signage outside the door, they will just throw your signage back into your room floor. Breakfast is always same everyday. Room is dusty n toilet is not cleaned. Found hair on the Pillow when checked in, bedsheet with stains too.

The view from this hotel is great.

Being in the city center is not enough. You need to provide some service for the money asked. Not knowing how to turn off the air conditioning in the room and not being willing to ask a manager how to do it, or argue at breakfast that Im to late even though your website is saying that i still have 45 minutes left, and have empty trays at the buffet, its not how a 4 start hotel should be.

Feels expensive for how it looks. The room is large but everything in it feels very old and needs renovation

Rooms need renovation, damaged furniture, smelly bathrooms, totally dirty facades, very poor breakfast, lousy and incompetent management

We choose a very expensive apartment ( King Junior and at the entrance it was dirt, the toilets were very unclean and not sanitised, and was dust all over the place.The staff was very unprofessional, they didnt want to us you with anything and most of all, they didnt had water in the room. WATER! THE MOST BASIC HUMAN NEED!Overwall, I dont recommend this hotel or any hotel from this chain.Thanks.

A dark hotel without minibar,the lights on the reception after 9pm are off. If you need to park the car în their parking you block the circulation because you need a card from reception, dont have any parking place till you get the card from reception.The shower doesnt work ...

Riom température cannot be set. Then température was at 26° to 27° all allong my stay. (3 dans).

Nice and big. There is a parking possible inside. At wintertime this is a good choice. Breakfast a little poor on choice. Rooms have a good smell. They are big enough and quite clean.

Huge disappointment. Please book an airbnb instead.. Anything else would be better. The only plus was that it was a family hotel so it was quiet at night.

The room was not clean: there were long back hairs in one of the bathrooms. None of the toilets had the "sanitized" seal on it. The jacuzzi tub was missing the head rest.After I took a shower and exited the bath I found two guys in my room: they were technicians that claimed that reception sent them to check the jacuzzi.The room was probably rented for a long time and there was a horrific smell coming from the bathroom (most likely one of the sinks).

Good position of the hotel, however it really needs general refurbishments.The rooms look pretty old, with different minor damaged objects which are not bothering you in terms of actual usability, however being a top hotel, you would not expect to see them. The card access keys keep demagnetizing, you cannot open your room or use the elevator sometimes and you have to constantly change your key card.Good location, being in the city center. I do not know when it was the last time when they did a general refurbishments, however the time has come!

One of the worse 4 star hotels and Ramada hotels Ive ever checked in.- the leather insertions are all tattered, scraped and partially stained, offering an unpleasant look;- there is no minibar in the room (even though you can find a fridge there);- no complimentary water;- the fridge is unplugged, probably because the door that was covering it is missing and the light of the fridge would light up the room if plugged in;- the temperature is either too high or too low (probably the temperature controller is broken);- if you wish to have breakfast (for which youve otherwise paidand in case you dont hold a green certificate you will have to pay an extra fee of 5$ for room service;- the rooms are poorly isolated, you can easily hear sounds and voices coming out of the other rooms;- parking is an additional 5 or 10 Euros, but they do not hold enough parking places;- old tv set;- tv remote is broken, probably out of batteries;

I payed 650 lei for 2 nights, it was abit cold outside and the heather in the room didint work, the bed and walls had some scraches but clean...abit creepyAnd the hot shower didint work we could not make shower only with cold water... not good:(Also the hot water buton was working but after 5 seconds button will turn off and no water...My stay here was bad, i didint got a parking spot or brakefast...I advise people dont stay here its bad for you.My friend got a little room with 200 lei for 2 nights and he had more luxury then my ramada room!

The TV was broken and some lights were not working. Missing toilet paper, shampoo, towels, no drink in the minibar. They fixed the issues but still.. a horrible welcome. During my stay, I’ve run out of soap because they didn’t refill. I had the feeling that .. they give less so we can use less so that they can make a bigger profit. I really hope it’s not true. But how can somebody forget about things like this? Soap, toilet paper.. ?!? Parking is an extra 10€/day but only if you get lucky… they actually don’t have enough parking spaces for everyone. They are also hosting events (weddings, birthdays..with loud music. Unfortunately the rooms are not very well isolated and depending on where your room is, you might feel some vibrations. There was a lot of dust in the room and I also found some hair on the carpet; luckily the bathroom was clean and also the bed. I’ve paid 95€ / day for a double room with breakfast and parking. This 4 star hotel felt like this one star review :)

I had high expectations. Not as cleaned as I expected. Great view from upper levels. Very close to the downtown. The hair in the bathtub, though...

It is the first and last time we stay here. Its mold in the bathroom, dirty, lot of dust in the room, used & broken furniture, the phone is not connected. Horible experience!Besides that , the front desk staff ( Bianca, Corina, and the other girl , I dont remember her name was great in assisting us in moving to a better room which was not up to standards either.

We reached the hotel in the evening, after a long drive, and the young lady from reception upgraded our room to a superior one on the last floor, with a beautiful view of Fagaras Mountains.

First of all, my advance money was still not returned even if today is the 30th day (the las day they could send it back). The cards kept demagnetising multiple times in a day. The room was very loud due to the noise made by the ventilation that did not stop during the night, the air conditioning wasn’t working at all, nobody came to clean the room in any of the nights. There was no shampoo, shower gel or slippers in a 4* hotel. Truly disappointed. Would not recommend at all.

The only pro that this hotel has is its location ~ approx. 11 min from the Old City Center. I honestly cant believe it has 4 stars instead of the 2 it deserves. The rooms are old, the bathroom, the beds... its awful! When I saw the bed and went to reception to ask for another room, they gave me the card to a renovated one, so they said, but it was the same. I cannot believe we chose this hotel over Hilton only for its location.. I used to believe that all Ramada hotels are old and not very clean, but its actually worse. My advice is to choose another hotel!

We stayed several times but this time we found a real depreciation of the services. First and most disturbing, only one elevator was functioning; the other one was in maintanace or so from Friday when we arrived and nobody care about this.The breakfast was in so call terrace; but the terrace was a closed space (the curtains was down).The rooms: the furniture is really tired, dirty spots on chairs ...The only plus I find is the garage for the car. Next time in the lovely Sibiu I will try something else.

Very disappointed about everything. I will attach some photos that will show you exactly what I mean. First of all the glass bathroom was not cleaned for a while; the toilet seat was out of place ; there were no care products in the bathroom, only liquid soap in a dispancer ; the furniture was beat up; breakfast was very modest for a 4 star hotel.

Great service, nice staff. Room was fairly large, comfortable bed, nice standard overall. Make sure to get your room at a high floor and youll have a good view. Breakfast might have been a bit small, but still okay. Parking was easy, they have a garage for 10 euro/day, or an outside parking lot for 5 euro/day. Wifi worked flawlessly. Close to centrum.

Very risky in case of fire! I have access by elevator only to my floor, nowhere else. The fire exit to the steps goes only to the ground floor, all doors to other floors are locked. The room is clean, good quality mattress. Tasty breakfast.

Found a sock left in the room from the previous client.I asked the cleaning service to remove it and sweep the floor as I left for approx. an hour.When I got back, the sock was in the same place.The breakfast was poor and the coffe was terrible.In the evening it was quite cold in the room even with the "heat" turned at maximum. I have stayed in that hotel many times between 2011-2014 and I was very satisfied and that determined me to chose this hotel again, in 2019.Unfortunately downgrading of the offered services is quite visible and thats a shame.The best and unchanged thing about it is the superb view that it has over old Sibiu town.

I see every time that they do not make any progress, on the contrary, Ramada Sibiu is in my opinion in a degraded routine every passing day. On todays review only cleanliness and location can be added to the plus.Disliked · Front staff , both receiving and check out, completely not suitable for their role; is well known that nowadays is more difficult to find good people, but the management should at list try to train, lead them,because this persons are the first which are interacting with the customers. Breakfast was terrible; despite the breakfast room, which is relatively nice, a certain part of the food was looking like some leftovers after a country side wedding. For me is unacceptable that in a 4* hotel ,in the heart of one of the nicest and famous city in Romania, to have such low quality food. This region is well known for their richness of the food, mainly meat ones . Where is the authenticity? Where is the self esteem? Very sorry to write this, I am Ramada fan, but this location is a big disappointment from this point of view. Im not critical, I just noticed current situation, with the hope of improvement. Sorry for this long review......January 2019 :nothing special to my last review, except the fact that in the breakfast room smells like in a social canteen.

It was from far far away the best 4 stars hotel I have ever been in! The room was excellent with all it need (the pillows and sheets were just flawless clean and soft 😍), the breakfast it was very delicious and the staff was amazingly friendly and professional. All my appreciations to this hotel. I kindly recommend. High quality!

Hotel facilities are according to Ramada standards but last time when I was there I had to sleep like in a tent due to very low temperatures in the rooms in the summer. Arrived late in the night at 19 degrees in the room and by morning temperature rose to 20,5 degrees. Less than comfortable.

Pros:- Hotel looks nice- Design wise, the hotel has a modern look. The room looks good tooCons:- We visited end of November and the heater was blasted in the room to a very high level. We stayed 3 nights and we always get a headache in the morning. The lowest temperature you can adjust it to is 25.3°c. The windows were sealed in our room so we were not able to open them- No complimentary bottled water- The water kettle has a dirty filter and there was still water inside the kettle- The elevator is terrible!!! They only have 2 tiny elevators that are very slow. No stairs to use as alternative. The fire exit is only open from ground floor to 4th floor- Same breakfast meal everyday during our stay- "Form vs. Function", the hotel focused more on the form and lacks good function
