Ralph's Texas Bar & Steak House Ltd in Medicine Hat

A great find for being in medicine hat one day. The prime rib sliders were excellent. And Ashley was doing a great job managing almost all the tables in there herself.

Fabulous food! The wings are amazing! Must go to place for wings!

The staff here is awesome! The young lady who took care of us (Rachelwas very attentive, informative and friendly, despite being the only wait staff in the restaurant at the time (the bartender was assisting, but busy behind the bar as well).The restaurant has a great atmosphere and excellent food. Prices are reasonable.We did have a little confusion about the hours of operation, as there is a nightclub(?attached that I think is only open weekend evenings, but once we figure out the difference between the nightclub side and bar/restaurant side, it was all good.

Friday night fish n chips absolutely terrible. Batter was so thick the out side was burnt and the inside was still dough. The fish had itself had no flavor at all.

Steak was perfectly cooked. Excited to go back!

Not always a 5, but who is? Always great homemade soup, always a draw for us. Honestly I like everything I’ve tried, a menu diverse enough to satisfy any time of day. Some of the menu items served are the best in town.The staff all do their best for each table, with a smile and effort to please, which they do.Our main go too place!

My friends and I went out for her sisters birthday and while we were on the dance floor an old man took a picture of us dancing. When we told security they didn’t remove him saying there was no proof but he has the picture in his phone in the recently deleted folder. So pro tip: if you’re feeling violated or want to feel protected don’t go here.

Whether we go to the dining room for a formal dinner or to the pub side for a bite to eat and watch a game on the TV, the food is great and the staff is friendly and courteous. Always enjoy our stay and meal.

They have really upped their game on the wings. I ordered wings for pickup on a Thursday night. They were Texas sized huge and delish. Cooked perfectly. If you havent tried their wings yet you just have no idea what you are missing. Fantastic.

We ordered from here through Skip the DishWe had the veal cutlett, was kind of rubbery and not really breaded enough.I had the sweet potatoe fries they were greasy and shriveled, (so smalland we also had a side of onion rings ( were greasy too, and smalland mozza sticks with marinara sauce (it tasted just like a Pizza sauce)Sorry to say they werent great either.The rating through Skip the Dish was high, but the meal was not enjoyable for the rating it got, sorry may not try this restaurant again.

Last night we went for a steak dinner for a fund raising. The place was packed.the staff were awsome and kept the place running at a good pace.the chefs did an outstanding job on the food.kudos to Ralphs well done

Went for lunch during a trip, the waitress was so friendly and kind and kept up with incessant need for lemonaid refills on that terribly hot afternoon. Prices were also very reasonable.

Steak was cooked to perfection and the wait staff were professional and friendly. We ordered ribeye with blue cheese button and sirloin with peppercorn gravy. Both were flavourful and cooked just right. Will visit again if we are in Medicine Hat!Side note: the dancing on Friday night appears to be clubbing kind of dance and people dont start dancing til midnight.

Okay - Suzanne is probably the best waitress Ive ever had in my entire life. My group got there around 7PM and it was craaaaaaazy busy inside. Literally like the entire place was packed, but miraculously there were a couple patio tables available. Suzanne told us to seat ourselves and ran around like a boss helping everyone. Everything came relatively quick for how busy it was (props to the kitchen staff!), we even had two other people join our table late (she said we were multiplying 😂and she was quick to help them as well. She was super attentive with making sure we had everything we needed and hilarious. One person at our table joked about getting his bbq sauce packed up and she boxed it and dropped it off for him before she was done for the night. The atmosphere here was so welcoming we stayed past 11PM. 10/10 would eat here again. The chicken fingers and fries were pretty good too.

Wonderful dinnerSteak and lobster 🦞 arrived at our table piping hot.. very tasty!! The steak was so good that I begrudgingly saved a bit of steak for our dogs! Service was excellent as well..

Was very hot in the bar. We had the sampler platter the steak bites were hard. The wings and nachos were good. The service was slow, we waited an hour to be served. The seats were sticky and the bar was crowded for covid. Probably wont go there again.

Extremely underwhelming. We got there, it wasn’t looking too busy as half the seats are gone for social distancing. So we sat. Staff looked over at us a few times. The bartender was just chilling behind the bar. The servers were going to tables and back to their iPads. Eventually we asked a lady named Wanda for menus. She took care of us for the most part and was lovely. However, she clearly wasn’t supposed to be our server and we didn’t see her much. The food came out and looked super mediocre. I ordered the burger with mozza sticks and onion rings, because that sounds amazing. It came out and was so disappointing.. $18 for a burger, you kind of expect some magic to happen. The only magical thing was that the bun looked homemade. The fries tasted like stale fries that were popped back into the fryer. We got up to pay and leave because it was clear to us no one was coming over. This is when the servers finally spoke to us and apologized for the wait because they were so busy.. I appreciate the discounted beer but it’s very clear there’s some customer service skills lacking here. We likely won’t be back for a long time, hopefully in the future it’s actually good food and good service..

A country style bar with a difference. Sports bar, country bar, pub,club, live entertainment, mechanical bull , steak house and exclusive entertainment.This place has it all, truly this place changes by the hour as the day and night unfolds, what an experience.House wine with the steaks are both very nice and recommended. If you stay till closing time sometimes they have beautiful pulled pork sandwiches to tie you over until you get home.

Servers were very friendly. The Wednesday special is great! $25 surf and turf. Cool salsa bar also with tortilla chips to start you off. The Ralphs red beer isnt bad and is a good price compared to the other beers available. This place is very big so I dont imagine a reservation would be required in most cases but maybe for large groups? Based on the size I imagine it becomes more of a club on weekend nights, but Im speculating to be honest. Worth checking out when in Medicine Hat

When we came to Medicine Hat on December 20, 2019 to pick up our daughter before Christmas, we were fortunate enough to be referred to this business by the hotel we were staying at overnight. Our experience was beyond every expectation. The food was exceptional and the kitchen staff went out of their way to redo my dinner order when it contained pineapple which I am highly allergic to. The waitress we had (Dylannwent above and beyond to keep us up to date on my dinner order. The service she provided was exceptional. I cant say enough about how impressive she is and the obvious amount of pride she takes in her work. She impressed us even further when we paid our bill and gave her a fairly large tip which my husband told her was for her only. She took the tip and immediately walked over to the counter and deposited it into the tip jar. Many we have seen before would not be so honest and thoughtful of others. We will definitely be back and will recommend your business to others

Good service and great food. Best place to get a steak in the city. Nacho bar is a nice touch. They can actually cook your steak to your desired doneness. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some grade AAA Alberta beef

Great service great Food Steak & Lobster $25 crazy good deal

Stopped in for a quick bite and it was not bad. Wished the fries were fresh cut instead of frozen, but for the price it was tasty and hit the spot. Chicken quesadillas were also good. Worth trying. Nice big place with lots of tvs and pool tables. Could see this place being fun on weekend nights.

Just passing through and my husband and I stopped for dinner here and it was so delicious! The food is fresh and so favourable and really well portion size! The service was also amazing! Very prompt and thoughtful!

Very nice place we have a super waitress she was awasome very helpful and always happy to help us. Make us feel very comfortable very nice kind of drinks, good price.

Food was good. Enjoyed the complimentary salsa and tacos before the meal. Was especially pleased with how they took care of our table of five. There was a large (loudand gathering in the front and they sat in the back (bar). It gave us an opportunity to visit with the people we were with. Reasonably priced too!

My wife and I went here with friends for supper. I had the full rack of ribs with regular sauce and my wife had the filet mignon as did her friend. I found the ribs to be ordinary nothing special and the sauce was a little on the thin side. My wife enjoyed her filet and stuffed potato but her friend had to have hers cooked again as the outside was blackened and she ordered med well. My wife did mention that the Ceasar drink she ordered was the best she ever had. The service was very good and the server was very attentive and friendly. When our friend mentioned her steak the server replaced it with a new plate with fresh potato and vegetables. Overall I would return.

The best food (and service!in the west - even though theyre on the east side of town. Everything that Ive tried from the menu has been incredibly yummy! Great for lunch in the pub, a special celebration dinner with a group - they cater to small, medium and large groups - or take the team before or after the game. I absolutely love this place!!

We had dinner as a group of 4 adults in a family. The decor is a bit older but its clean and the waitresses are well trained in food service and politeness. The food was great and the prices were very decent. My only complaint was the constant tawny country music. I could have lived without that all through my meal. The seating arrangements are also a bit cramped for taller folks. Beef up that dessert menu please.

How did this place get one star? The food and service is excellent!Next trip, last night.I had the Veal Schnitzel with the mushroom sauce and baked potato. One of my companions had the New York 10 ounce while another had the fish and the fourth the pineapple chicken.We come to Medicine Hat about four times a year and most times we pop by Ralphs. The food always impress us and the service is very good.

Thank goodness for Ralphs! It was the only place open for a late night beer and dinner.I had the baked potato soup... Amazing! I also had the Steak tips. How can you go wrong with meat wrapped in meat. Steak bites wrapped in bacon.... MMMMMM!🥓🐂Riley provided the most excellent service!
