Raincross Pub + Kitchen in Riverside

Attended on a Thursday art walk night, had live music, seating available ordered an appetizer and drink, came out quickly and fresh. Nice atmosphere.

Pizza we ordered was decent, nice flavor but they no longer offer deep dish or alot of other food options they used to have so they need to update their online menu and take down the pictures of deep dish so people will know. We wanted deep dish and were told they are under new ownership so they no longer offer food options they used to have. So im giving 3 stars

Very overpriced for what you get. Food is pretty okay. But between serving sizes and the fare being nothing particularly special... Id skip eating here.If you must. Go for the brussels.

I am sure this is a great place.I was a UCR student for 8 years and every week was downtown active. I graduated and did my own thing for 5 years. Last night I traveled back to Riverside to revisit downtown.Last night will be the last time I ever visit due to this place.Night started well, got the keeper of the inn suite at mission inn. Friday nights at downtown you meet a lot of people and travel across bars. You do the normal meet and greet, we met friends who raved about this place so we decided to join them and go here.They were denied entry, we were not. Black guy in the front said the boyfriend was too drunk, looked sleepy, without having any interaction with guy? My girlfriend, good heart but loud mouth, tried to argue for them since he just made blantantly wrong assumptions. Door man went on a power trip, let the people we just met in - magically no longer drunk enough to get in - and intentionally left us out.Ok, I get it, she argued so we could not come in. But the fact they let the other party in, magically sober enough now, and did it to spite my girlfriend told us a lot how this place is ran.That other couple was armed and normally they left their gear with security out front. So that door mans spite on us, to let them in quickly without searching, was a huge security risk.My lasting impression of downtown is a guy who was employed here had nothing better to do than mess with customers. And yes, the keeper of the inn suite was real nice.

Great ambiance and amazing food. Servers were not attentive and we waited about 30 minutes before going to bar and asking for service. No menus its app based. And they use a tablet for you to pay but provide no receipt, only show you the tablet screen. Definitely not a fan of that and especially the no receipt part.

We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. Food is average, but it does the job and the staff there are nice

Very nice establishment here in Riverside at the raincross pub! Stafford super-friendly we met Travis downstairs and he was more than happy to allow us to take some pics for our review! If youre looking for a relaxed environment to have a drink with some friends and family are recommended this place five star!

Best little downtown bars in Riverside. Good service and great drinks!!! Not watered down! Great prices!

Great rock and roll shows mediocre service on food

Very pleased I visited today. Its my new favorite bar. Ive been to every bar in town. Ive been bar hoppingin Riverside for years. I almost didnt bother stopping in because theres not a lot of outdoor seating in the front. Theres more outdoor space than at first appears. The service was exceptionally well. Every member of the staff were friendly and attentive. The outdoor space upstairs on the roof is comfortable. Its spacious yet cozy. All the other patrons were friendly as well. They played good music the entire time. I overheard one customer request a channel change on the tv and the bartender happily obliged. I can imagine its great for watching big games.

Best steak Ive EVER had. I dont normally eat steak but I got the surf N turf and Im so glad I did! Even the fat was good!

This is so delish. My go too! Everything here is good. I live the Italian sub or pizza. 🤤 or for a snack I always get this. Its their goat cheese and honey pistachio appetizer. With pork belly added(optional).my drink Ive been very fond of that is made well here is with the Stewart peanutbutter whiskey old fashion with orange bitters...always have had a great time here with amazing service.

Overall...it was just okay. Problems with fountain drinks, food mediocre. Service was friendly but not timely. Hubby liked the pizza, my sandwichs role was mushy / soggy. With so many dining options in our area, I dont know if I will give it another try. 😔

The beer was good. They make their own beer now. Id rate their IPA a 6.5 out of 10. Im a hop head so it could have been hoppier for my taste. A good starter IPA for someone just starting to enjoy them. The owner of Romanos owns this place as well. My friend and I came thinking we could get the deep dish Chicago style pizza here too. Not the case. Which is fine, but the traditional pizza we had was sub par. If youre drunk and looking for bar food youll be fine. If youre used to the quality of Romanos youll be disappointed. Id recommend eating at Romanos and then coming to Raincross Pub + Kitchen for drinks and atmosphere.

The salad was really delicious and fresh,and Barbque pizza was good,just a little crusty on the edges but toppings very flavorful.

Always a great time, nice bartenders and amazing food!

We seen The Crystal Method upstairs at their venue called The Concert Lounge. Incredible sound system. My hub and I dont drink, they were still very accommodating. We had Seltzers and cokes for $4 and refills. Always tip a little. Reserved a table for just $20 to sit down and refresh, in between dancing! Fresh patio outside. Cool security. The night was butter, to a cinnamon roll so to speak. I love You, Riverside 😎

An alarm sounded often when a goal was made. Alarm was too loud. Because the alarm was a nuisance during our dining experience; three stars. The dining was much better when it was Romanos Pizza. Food at Raincross Pub + Kitchen was subpar. Our servers were excellent (main reason for 3 stars). Lose the alarm improve the food. My ears are still hurting...

Went upstairs to the concert lounge above the pub and as always its a great place to see any bands. Good beer and they offered a taco night as well.

Love the new menu at the former Romanos.... looking forward to going back and trying something else on their new menu! Deconstructed salad... wonderful! Pretzel bites with cheese fondue were excellent to share with friends!

Awesome venue, we saw a New Order and Cure cover bands, they were spectacular. The sound was great and clear, the dance floor was spacious. The drinks were tasty and good. I recommend this venue for good times with friends and family. Head there soon. 🔊🎵🙌😎🤗

No one is going to mention that its not Romanos anymore? The food is still good but the Romanos favorites will be missed. Its a different vibe than youre accustomed to if youre a regular. That being said, the pizza is good, the wings are good, and the rest of the menu is somewhat elevated

By far one of my favorite places to eat. Always a warm smile like Im there for Sunday dinner! Great food and dont even get me started on the garlic knots. Just a great place to be.

This is my "go to place". The food is great! The bartenders are awesome and always have a good mood. I like coming here after work to chill and enjoy a beer and a slice of Pizza! If I could give this place more stars I would. Definitely a place to stop by if you wanna try something new in DTR.

Yummy food, cool atmosphere, and ice cold beer. Parking was surprisingly easy at 5pm on a Friday, eight on the street. Service was pretty good and attentive. After dinner just walking around downtime was really enjoyable, all along the plaza. Im so glad downtown Riverside has invested in cleaning up and revitalizing the area.

I was here for a large group event of about 30 people. They had a patio area that worked great for our function. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was great, I had the Manicotti and it was delicious.

I love Italian food and I saw Romano’s had great reviews on Door Dash. I get off of work really late so I was excited to see it was open until 11pm. I was kind of afraid ordering so late in the night thinking I might not get the freshest food. I was so wrong. My pasta was piping hot even though it was ordered from 20 minutes away. They food was so good and fresh, I will definitely be ordering again. Thanks :-)

Very good Italian food. Flexible ambience for casual or professional attire. Clean. The food is not especially quick but also does not too long either. Having a separate space for the bar makes for a dining experience where you can hear the conversation easily. Very comfortable booths with red and white plaid table cloths make for a nice touch.

Went there for an Open Mic Night this past Wednesday. Super fun time! Really good musicians. Most excellent tunes!

My husband pick up dinner from here last night it was horrible. We ordered the gnocchi with marinara , fried mozzarella and garlic cheese bread. The gnocchi was great the sauce was awful I didn’t know you could mess up marinara. The fried mozzarella was $8 for 4 pieces and when you bit into them there was hardly any cheese they came with no sauce. The cheese bread was just okay. We won’t be returning.

Pizza was good, but sauce needs some help, rather bland. Deep dish didnt spare on the cheese and was a good representation of Chicago deep dish, if the sauce was better I would say it rivals any Chicago place, and I have been to many.The MC for the live music was really cool, if you love metal, you should talk to him, hes a wealth of knowledge.

Always, always slow food service but worth the wait. Good Chicago Italian style food. Nice full bar with many beer choices. This is the place to be for fans if Chicago sports teams. Go Cubs!

The newest Romanos here in Riverside and it doesnt disappoint. Food is good, drinks are good and pricing is on point. Live music and events upstairs in the Concert Lounge, bar area and dinning room. It can get loud, just from people talking, but not bad. Nice patio outside, both upstairs and downstairs. Parking in downtown is not always the easiest, so be prepared to pay to park in one of the garages.

So Ive heard a lot of great things about this place so I decided to check it out. The inside of the restaurant is pretty cool looks just like a pizza place in Chicago. The only bad thing is that you need to wait 45 minutes for your pizza. We decided to get mozzarella sticks which are excellent. The pizza and crust very good. This is one place I would definitely try again.

Had a great time here drinks were large and reasonable and there was a great punk concert upstairs when we showed up. I didnt know the band but it was still a good time. Their large beer was probably 32 oz was only 9 bucks we ended up buying a couple and filled them with a couple different IPAs so it was a great bang for our buck. They also have outside seating which was nice. All in all one of the least expensive places to grab a beer and the place had a good vibe.

Romanos put downtown Riverside back on the map for family dining and relaxation. Renown for its deep dish pizza it also has a robust menu for pasta dishes and sandwiches. Its also a great place for a date night with your spouse or couples. The lounge upstairs has great music on weekends with tribute bands that never disappoint.

Good atmosphere but need service improvement! it took forever to bring our food and they had two waitresses to serve a full house!! in the lounge we had a reserve table and they have no server to attend the table, if we want a drink you need to go to the bar and order your drinks and two bar tenders for over 150 people! low quality liquor!! the patio had 4 propane heater only one work!! temp was on the low 50s !! over all place is nice and the music is good but needs improvement on the service !!

Romanos in downtown Riverside has a nice concert venue upstairs with a well maintained sound system. They get a lot of live show there and it is a good place to see a show. The bar us well stocked and reasonably priced. I dont care much for their pizza, Ive tried both stuffed and regular pizzas and was not impressed.

If you want the thick crust pizza you have to wait an hour so beware but the thin crust takes only 20 mins. The thin crust pizza was alright I had better. A small size pizza=$17 but it is the actual size of a medium pizza and a medium pizza=a large size. The ranch dressing was good. I loved the garlic cheesy bread!($9Next time I come Ill just eat that instead. Our waiter Jerry was awesome and polite. They need to fix the toilet seats in the Ladies restroom though! Both stalls I went in had toilet seats that would slide when you sat down. But other than that it was a good first time experience, would love to come back, nice atmosphere, low lightning.

Event planners, this is a review for you. Got a chance to work with Travis and Kristin putting together a joint holiday party between five local small business, advertising, marketing and public relations associations. We used the space upstairs for our private holiday party and it went great! We ended up having 120 people attend. Considering we only confirmed with Romanos for 75 the day before, they managed an increase in 60% like pros and we could not be more grateful. Travis and Kristin were super helpful in helping us pull off the event even during Festival of Lights. We had people arrive around 4pm to get early parking which ended up being very helpful. The program went from 4pm-8pm. The space is beautiful, flexible, and really fun. We got to use the stage and Travis even did a great job on lights and sound for us. It added to the professionalism of the event and thats the picture Im posting here. Prices were reasonable, food was great, space was awesome, the team was super helpful, and well definitely be back next year. Welcome to your first holiday season downtown Romanos. Great to have another awesome event space.

Tried this restaurant for the first time last night. Due to a holiday event occuring a couple blocks away, the wait for 5 people took a little over an hour. Once seated the service was slow and spotty but I think this was because of the event. We ordered a thin crust family sized pizza and an antipasto salad which was very good. I would definitely come here again. Great food and great place to go out with children.

As a regular patron of Romanos in Canyon Crest, I was excited to learn they were building a Romanos very close to where I work. What a great new venue for lunch. And while the food is very good and I eat there routinely, the service prevents me from giving all five stars. Dont get me wrong the staff is friendly and courteous. It just isnt always easy to find them. On more than one occasion Ive gone in after the lunch rush and waited to be seated...and waited...and, stuck my head in side the restaurant in the area ti make my presence known. I finally gave up and left because no one came to seat me. Often I have had to search and Hope for a refill of iced tea and given up there as well. I am not really hard to please when it comes to service but the service at the Romanos downtown does fall short of acceptable in my opinion. I think it is possibly because they dont have enough people on staff to do the job correctly. But thats just my opinion

I waited about 40 minutes for a carry out pizza order. Thin crust but OMG it weighs about 12oz$27.00 Its Blaze from now on forget this place

The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. The concert hall was quite impressive with its sound, lighting and ample space.

Service was quick, and appetizers where great. Over all it was a nice time, butUnfortunately for me I tried something called Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich that wasnt good at all.But it give us all a laugh trying to find out how a sandwich can be destroyed in such a manner

I went here for lunch today. The thin crust pizza was amazing, and the family size is huge for the price. Service was also outstanding all around. I will be going back for sure. Highly recommended in the Riverside area
