Rainbow Café Antigua Guatemala - Restaurant in Chimaltenango, Guatemala
I dont remember a thing about the food I had (i ended up giving half of it to people at my tablebut the Long Island Iced Tea was glorious. Probably the equivalent of 3 regular drinks as it was served in a gigantic bowl
We had a great breakfast before our hike. Great location and super nice service
Cute place and good breakfast. I ordered a traditional breakfast and everything tasted good. I would definitely return.
I was a bit disappointed with the food to be honest.
Good eggs benedict (eggs florentinewith nice hollandaise. It comes with fruit and a fruit juice. They play loud American Pop music on the radio if that’s what you like.
Idyllic coffee shop that serves breakfast! Bring your book and have a seat inside. Theres an open roof so you can catch some rays while listening to chill music.
Saddest almond milk capuchins of my life
Nice little used bookstore in the front but very few books in Spanish - mainly English, Dutch, French, German, other foreign languages. They have postcards and other souvenirs as well.
Good but not much food for the price of the falafel
Loved the Florentine Eggs, laid back atmosphere, great service.
Unfortunately the meals we had made both of us ill after. My friend and I went for dinner and everything we ordered was not fresh/microwaved, but still took over 20 minutes to come out. Once it did, it was the wrong order even though we were the only ones in there. Maybe it’s better and things are fresher for breakfast or lunch? I’m otherwise unsure of the high ratings.
The food is very flavorful and delicious. Also a great breakfast combo with tea and juice included. Yum!
Nice, secluded place with quick service and honest, fresh food.
Really enjoyed this spot. Cute atmosphere, delicious food and extremely kind staff. The food was perfect, crispy bacon and warm tortillas were the best. Drinks could have had a bit more flavor but other than that, perfect!
Reasonably priced food with a great courtyard and atmosphere! I came here for breakfast twice during my stay in Antigua, and I recommend the ranchero breakfast which comes with everything pictured for 35Q. Clientele is mainly European and American tourists, but if youre OK with that, then its a great option!
Cute place with nice patio and latin music. Very nice waitress, excellent traditional breakfast
Breakfast is good and good prices. I also like the lasagna night! We always stop here when we are in town
The food was great and they have different events all the time (like a bonfire night with smores)
Great breakfast! Our group from OX expeditions met here before we climbed Fuego!
Amazing food and staff love the food you need to go there
One of my favorite restaurants&cafe in Antigua. I had a breakfast, lunch, coffee here so many times. Nice and friendly staff
Lovely, sunny courtyard cafe. The breakfasts are delicious, as are the fresh fruit liquados. They also have a store at the entrance selling books, bags and other items.
Great cafe, we have been for breakfast here 3 times during our stay. We are vegan so swapped the eggs for fruta, Chapin is 32 quetzal. Package also includes a coffee and fruit juice. Lovely little court yard to sit in. Lunch and dinner menu also looks lovely and good prices
Service, food and atmosphere was great! I went for the mixed Nachos and was more than happy. It’s a big plate ;)
Very Nice service, beautiful place to have a good coffee and good food good drinks. Open very early to have breafast and coffee.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing place to start your day off with a delicious breakfast! Located in the heart of Antigua, I highly encourage you to come check this place out. The decor inside is amazing, unlike anything I have ever experienced. Add a delicious breakfast and you have yourself the best possible start to your morning that anyone could ever ask for. The staff greeted me with all smiles, there is also a small shop as you enter where you can buy souvenirs, post cards and more!
Loved their chicken fajitas! Just wish they were open during COVID-19!
Really cool atmosphere! They’ve got board games and beautiful murals. The food was okay, just not too many options for a gluten free vegan but the menu was pretty extensive other than that! Definitely worth checking out.
They have lots of tasty meals, nice atmosphere, live music at night, a Friday night Bonfire, and a retractable translucent roof over the central patio. There are potted plants and ways to help our four legged friends
Great breakfast, far more than you need, and the price is right on! Definitely will eat here again when Im back in this town!
Live music most nights this is a great cafe to meet up with friends with an artsy vibe. The food is good, well priced and of a good serving size. We went for breakfast as well and there is an amazing students breakfast with eggs, beans and some roasted melt-in-your-mouth sweet tomatoes. A great option anytime of day for dining.
Ambiance and service were nice. The Israeli girl was a great server and very helpful. The food was nothing special and the orange juice was horrible. It was definitely old. Not what I anticipated. Food took a bit of time. Seating is nice.
Amazing little cafe in the heart of Antigua. The food is delicious, the view amazing, and great service. The decor is very unique. If you’re visiting and want a cheap, delicious, and great breakfast stop by there.
We came to eat here a handful of times because there arent that many healthy options for dining in the city. The food is okay, not anything super delicious, and nothing on the menu is particular to health foods. No espresso, bland tea options. The service is quick and helpful though. Most of the time there is ample seating but one time there wasnt anything available.
Food was so good, the place is cozy and cute, I tried the beans with rice plate: delicious and fulfilling even if it doesnt sound like it :guacamole was great, I dont think you can go wrong with any of their plates.
Delicious food made with fresh products. Great place for lunch with friends. Wonderful staff !
Very nice restuarant, a nice place for peace and quiet off the busy streets of Antigua. Staff is very attentive and the seating options are plentiful. Bathrooms for customers and relatively cheap cervezas (approximately 17 quetzales for una). A few blocks from the main square, nestled between there and thr largest artisan market in town. Worth checking out if your looking for a bite to eat or something to drink. Nice chillaxed vibe and a bulletin board with local opportunities for volunteering and fun. Great art on the wall and creative seating options, be sure to check it out!
Lovely little cafe that serves a vast vegetarian and vegan menu for breakfast and brunch. The wifi didnt work but the atmosphere made up for it. We had nice coffee, a Guatemalan breakfast of fried egg and plantain, and a pepper quesadilla. I would definitely go again!
Cute little place for breakfast. Lovely staff and reasonably priced. Would return!
We had a great time here with the awesome live music, cool art, and of course good food.
Got the brownie with ice cream, and it was very good 😋The price was reasonable as well, especially that it included the coffee.
Absolutely delicious breakfast. Lots of tables semi outside which was a very relaxing and cool place to stay a while.Service was super nice and she was a native English speaker with Spanish.Priced on the higher side (around 15-20q for cappacino, but seems standard for Antigua.Would return.
Very nice. Slightly crowded, but thats because everyone likes the place. Heard the night scene there is good, but I dont know as I was there for lunch. Simple fare, but tasty. Reasonably priced. Staff was pleasant and attentive.
Great place, fast Wi-Fi, which is rare in Guatemala! The smoothies are delicious, but the fresh orange juice is terrible — it’s not fresh at all, actually, and it tastes like a medicinal drink 👎🏼The healthy snacks are good as well 😋
Cosy atmosphere, nice food and music!
Great cafe right at the center of Antigua. We went there for breakfast and it was wonderful. Food is good and very fresh, nice service. The place itself is nicely decorated. They have some gluten free options.
Food is great with large portions. Ambiance is very cute and homey. I ordered the quesadilla and got 2 large quesadillas. Would highly recommend the fajitas and quesadillas!
The food is delicious and the place is charming. Prices are very reasonable and the service was great!
The vibe was very cool and the food was tasty but also very cheap! I had a crepe w/avocado and chicken with a smoothie and it was great!
Friendly atmosphere, fresh food and quick service. Great lunch experience.
