Raglan Road Irish Bar - Irish pub in Nottingham, United Kingdom
Great place to have a few drinks and watch football
Fun bar
Great atmosphere. Singer/guitarist was good .
Excellent service, friendly staff..would recommend
I really loved it here even though we went at a really quiet time! Quirky decor, snooker table, darts, and upstairs lounge area. Highly recommend
Dead pub beers too expensive 9.00 for 2 pints ripping people off
Best bar I have been to in the city Bob on .
Excellent lively pub..host/owner does everything to keep the crowd engaged..good selection of ales.not very costly..A must visit specifically on weekends..
Not bad... move pool table though and dart board mangers are lovely! Safe could be more friendly and that
Quick couple pints friendly staff cant complain 👌
Great pub, great people, always a top time had by all
We have had as always brilliant food brilliant customer service and always puts customers firstFood is unbelievable puddings amazing and great to choice of food deserts drinks especially if have family or friends staying never let us down definitely on our favourite list
Best bar in Nottingham- Atmosphere is second to none. ☘️🇮🇪 Fantastic night had by all - Service, drinks and food 👌🏻
Cracking place, great atmosphere and very reasonable bar prices
Lovely little bar, we went on Halloween as a stop on our bar crawl and the decorations were amazing. The staff were very friendly. The best part about this bar is the tables in the caves! Amazing.
First time here, we were made very welcome by the lady behind the bar, love the little caves at the back of the bar
A nice bar. Will try the food there
Friendly bar, very welcoming and a good pint.Cant ask for more
Great but. No food being served when we went but big screen with the cricket.
Good afternoon watching the rugby the bar staff very pleasant but not quite on the ball serving at the bar, but still enjoyable afternoon
Argos is supposed to be a sports bar there is not one tv in sync with the lions game and most are three mins behind - deplorable
Not to everyones taste but I found it lively and inclusive, 80 year olds to students, all are welcome, a bit of ego about but cracking fun and friendly staff make this place a good late night option; decent live music a real bonus.
The food tastes nice, but is very expensive for what it is. I could have bought the same meal a lot cheaper elsewhere. Staff are very friendly though.
Ordered online, no response at all. Paid £35+ for food and nothing came, so we asked live chat only to find out the company told Deliveroo "we cant order due to an emergency in the kitchen". Cool? Perhaps let us know? Thanks, wont order again - rubbish place and prices were too high for the food photos but wanted to give a try anyway.
Ask yourself this question. When your mum says its time.. food is being dished out.. this is what this place reminds me of.. places like this needs far more support than a pizza shop.. its more than food.. absolute diamond ... worth every penny!!!!
Raglan Road was an all time favourite until October when they refused to give us the tables we had booked with no explanation as to why, and rudely turned us away. As we left we could see empty tables and they allowed others in behind us. We all arrived completely sober, so it wasnt the issue. Suspicions are that they over booked and were too embarrassed to let us know. Ruined the evening as everywhere else was booked up.
Great atmosphere and charrming interior. Really enjoyed the evening and the doors was really really good and fresh.
Lively atmosphere. Situated on Derby Road between the City Centre and Canning Circus. Beers can be a bit hit and miss. Nevertheless, it is a pub I keep coming back to. Few sports screens dotted about and live bands on a weekend. If visiting Friday or Saturday in the current climate, I would suggest booking as it gets full very quickly.
Has a lot of potential and worth a visit for its exposed cave/cavern interior through the back. Unfortunately, prices arent that great and staff are quite blunt. Interior is lacking at best and certainly doesnt feel warm and welcoming like its competitors along the same road.
Love this place with great Guinness. Its a real pub with real clients. In Nottingham thats actually a rare thing nowadays! If part of the pretentious crowd its not for you!
Nice pub with live music, definitely i will raccomand it
If youre looking for a bar where Doom isnt something to be avoided by those intent on a more heavenly destination, youve found it at The Raglan! Here, it comes in pints alongside an unhealthy selection of other temptations. They include the expected Irish hospitality, weekly live music,
What an amazing pub, the atmosphere is totally fecking electric. Best Irish pub I have ever been to, fantastic staff so friendly and happy. Really cant wait to go back xxxx
Feel and atmosphere of an old, eccentric pub, but had decent music. Stayed open a few hours after official closing time! In response to the owners question, I came on a Thursday, which according to Googles opening times, it closes at 12, however. Raglan stayed open till 1.
Best night out Ive had for ages, even better with the forest players being in who actually say Hello and are polite. Lovely place
Good atmosphere. Lots of good seating areas. Great for watching sport - especially if Ireland are on. Prices are okay. Good range of ales.
Great local pub with plenty of screens (upstairs and downstairsto watch sports. Best option for watching the game on Derby Road.
Good fun atmosphere, staff were happy to dance along and real music being played when I was there
A wonderful pub to visit with a good atmosphere and music on some nights.Had a great night full of chats and laughter
Nice bar with a good range of beers and spirits including the Peaky Blinders range of spirits which is all the rage at the moment. More effort needs to be made to make it feel more Irish if this is an Irish bar by at least playing Irish music I feel this is place is more aimed at football and rugby fans. Decor could do with a bit of an uplift.
Went last night for a friends birthday, absolutely amazing atmosphere every time I go. Brilliant singers, great staff and awesome bunch of customers that join in and make the night that bit more enjoyable. Took my son there today to see the caves and to try out their food and again I was left with nothing to pick fault with and Iam a very picky eater. Very comfortable seating and also watched the football whilst eating. These guys hospitality and entertainment is second to none, Ive even bookedthe upstairs area for my 40th next year. Keep up the good work everyone.Highly recommended for a quiet daytime meal or a lively night out.
One of the best bar in Nottingham! Friendly, polite and nice atmosphere with live music. Well done guys. Regards from TED Barbers staffs
The onli Irish pub in Nottingham,UK..always serve Guinness with Irish symbol on top..most happening pub as u always find Irish people with loads of energy.
Bar staff not serving people that had been waiting to be served even before last orders began. And a tiny bouncer, for lack of a better word, picking on patrons at close, who were drinking and not saying a word to regulars who still had full pints at the time. Ruined what was a perfectly good night out.
Great decor & a good selection of beers etc. I was in on a quiet day but I would expect it gets busy at the weekend
Such a great venue, live music all the time. Pool table (needs some new cue tipsand a darts board for fun. 4 jaegerbombs for a tenner, hello! So many drinks behind the bar, and thats not the only behind the bar treat!
I came here most of the time, its a cool authentic Iris bar. There are plenty of people coming here just to enjoy and hangout. Quality beer and fantastic service.
I have been traveling to Nottingham for 20years following Nottingham forest.at last I can say I have finally found a home from home.a great local with a relaxedfriendly fun atmosphere and welcoming and pleasant management and staff
I am a Nottingham Forest supporter based in Killorglin, Co. Kerry. I help run the Munster Branch of the Supporters Club and have been travelling over to Forest games since the 80s. Raglan Road is the first bar in Nottingham that I genuinely feel at home in. It is one of the most authentic Irish bars I have seen outside of Ireland. The drink and food are excellent, the music is great, there are lovely bar staff and the craic in general is very good. The DJ always makes us Munster lads feel very welcome and always gives our branch a plug. It is now the home from home for all the Munster Forest lads. See you soon!
I am a frequent visitor to Raglan Road. Everyone of the staff are always polite and friendly. The food is fantastic and the GUINNESS, well what can I say about that? One of the best pints of Guinness outside of Ireland and definately the best in Nottingham. I would recommend this pub to all for not only the things above but the warm friendly atmosphere. Excellent.
