111 Raging Waters Dr, San Dimas, CA 91773, United States, Claremont
Large, popular water park with dozens of slides & attractions, plus an area for tots & a sand beach.
Back when I was a kid I would spend my summer days at this water park! Good old times!!! Love this water park! Definitely worth checking it out.
This water park is the best. My family had a blast. They have a variety of foods and beverages. Your able to take you own cooler bag with waters and gatorades. And own snacks. The prices and specials are amazing really afforadable. Definitely buying a pass next summer
Super crowded & super expensive . Fifty dollars for close parking if you can find any . Twenty for parking a mile or two away. Yes they have trams for regular parking . Expensive for a locker to put your stuff in .
When they say this park is the biggest and best water park in California, I could not agree more! They have a huge variety of slides from easy slides for kids to extreme slides for thrill seekers! Some slides are even advanced like aqua rockets which is something between a slide and coaster! Overall, the park is clean, well maintained, and safe. Excellent park to bring your family or friends! Lockers are available for $18, smaller size. Food can be pricey but you can bring some snacks. Parking is $20 and youll have to take a shuttle to the front entrance. If you want to park closer, its $50.
Our first time there and my son love it ❤❤❤
Holy EBT! Less than 2% of the people there actually had swimsuits on. Everyone had on their underwear or regular clothes. What the entire F?! There was lettuce, french fries, hair wrappers, A greasy film on top of the water from hair products, whatever you can think of in the water!I honestly felt dirty just for being there. Shame on every single person that works there and the only way that you should spend money on coming here is if you smoke actual crack. We have a season pass to soak city which is so clean and the water is so warm. We just get tired of going there all the time so we like to try any and all water parks as well.Oh! I cannot forget this part which is the most important. Absolutely no reception while you were there. So I hope you don’t need to speak to a single soul or do anything important while there. You have to park in a dirt lot that you have to take a shuttle four to get to the main entrance. The shuttle will take a minimum of 10 minutes. Any review that says anything different than what I just said is a liar and I feel like you’ve been paid. I know I said it before but I have to say it again shame on every single person that works there
In the weather that weve been having here in California, this was the best place to be even with high temperatures outside of the water. The water was so pleasantly comfortable to be in. It was cool it was refreshing and everyone seemed to be having a good time
It was such a negative experience on 8/21/22 at Raging water San Dimas! We are a party of four people including my husband, my friend, my six years old daughter and me. After we parked our car, we went to the line to wait for the shuttle to get to the gate of the park. Unfortunately, there’s no staff at the the designed waiting area. We were not sure where is the front of the line. When the bus comes, it’s about 15 minutes waiting, the driver ask some people to get on the bus. My friend, my daughter and me got on the bus first. The driver told my husband to wait. However, there are some people behind us still going on the bus. He didn’t stop them. We were trying to talk to the driver that we are a family. We are together. He still is not allowing my husband to get on. My daughter was upset because she doesn’t know why we have left daddy there. When the bus stops, I talked to the driver again. He was very unprofessional and rude. He asked me to get off the bus otherwise he will call the police. I said I didn’t do anything so I am not afraid of police.I just need to talk to you. He refused. And ask me to get off the bus for several times. I believe this is one kind of discrimination because we have different skin color. I cannot imagining if my kids get on the bus without adults what will happen! I reported to the management department both in person and email, but unfortunately I don’t hear anything from them.
Adult trip to Raging waters for my birthday. We had a blast here as well. Lines were extremely long. There is a serious tube shortage and no one was holding riders accountable for leaving tubes behind after the ride, so riders took tubes and kept riding while others waited for hours for a tube. There was no tubes in the lazy river. We literally walked the whole river a few time. We didnt mind at all cause after a few laps you could aquire a tube here and there. They ran out of rental tubes also. We spent most of our time in the wave pool and lazy river. We rode 3 rides all day. But we were able to cool off and have amazing fun together so it totally made it worth it. Food was good, funnel cakes was even better. The only real issue I had was the icee spot. They were gladly selling $9 icee cups and the slush wasnt ready. So because they take your reciept if you started to pour you couldnt wait for the other flavors to get ready or come back. You had to have what was available, only two flavors. They didnt disclose this before hand, as the flavors are around the corner from the stand. Outta all the flavors promoted you really only have two options, cherry and blue raspberry. The other flavors spun all day and was never ready. We got 10+ icee and all were same flavor except one. But not even that could ruin the bday fun we was trying to have. Get the fast pass "H2go" and rent your tube, to enjoy fully.
I won’t come back. No Value for the total cost of tickets/parking/lockers.I would not recommend until they have systems in place that allow patrons to see estimate wait times per attraction.Staff seemed friendly but nothing was there problem it’s all operational issues. Save your money go somewhere else. Our total cost for the day was 300US for a family of 4. Not including any food which is very expensive in the park
ZERO STARS!!!I am extremely disappointed and upset! My family and I bought tickets just to find out the park was closed! This was not posted on the home page nor was it highlighted when I was purchasing tickets. I spoke with someone name Alisa. She said there is nothing that can be done. The tickets are no refundable. We are not able to make it Friday-Sunday! We drove all the way out here looking to have a great time. Only to be disappointed. Unbelievable. We will be leaving a bad review for the poor service and advertisement of business hours. This should be clear to read on the home page!!!Wast of time and money. Do not go here.
Bought 10 tickets. Will not be returning. The restrooms are not maintained by anyone, it was gross. During our visit, because of the extremely long lines we were only able to get on two water slides. Had to spend most of the time in the crowded lazy river or wave water. The food was very expensive $17-$19 for a chili dog n small fries (drink not included, that was an additional$4.99). Better off getting your own food and enjoying the day at Bonellie park down the road.
We went on Wednesday 8/17 and we had the best time ever. Longest line was only about 20-30 minutes. General parking and tram ride was easy. Food was good and kitchens were clean. Most all staff was friendly. Park seems to be well run and organized..I was glad to be there on a not so busy day. Most rides were running and everyone was having a great time. We were there about 5 1/2 hours and were able to try all slides and even did a few of them twice. We got our moneys worth and will definitely be back! Thank you to all staff.
Great end of summer pricing and love that it wasnt crowded. Disappointed that they closed the lazy river before 4:30pm, and a few other attractions werent open at all.
The water park is only open from 10:00AM-5:00PM, yet each slide takes an hour in line, so you’d be lucky to do even five slides while you’re there. If you want the equivalent of a fast pass, you have to pay big time. They have options for $40, $60, and $90! (This is in addition to the $40 ticket price). No one wants to pay the equivalent of a Disney ticket for general admission plus a “fast pass” so of course no one is in the second line, which means it takes twice as long to get on each slide when they could be using that second line for general admission. At least three of the slides were closed while we were there, there was a 25 minute wait just to get a bottle of water from the concession stand, and it costs $50 to park next to the park - $20 to be bussed in via shuttle. This place is way overpriced and the slides are not worth it.
PAY FOR PREMIUM PARKING! Don’t think twice like my husband and did. The most annoying thing was paying for general parking, waiting at a shuttle stop with a ton of other people and taking a bus up and around the hills. We also payed for a cabana which was so worth it in our opinion. It was very nice to have a section to ourselves and have a service take our food order and bring it to us. The menu is a limited but for pizzas, water and salads it came in handy. The water park was extremely packed, especially the line to get into the park! Our friends who arrived at 10am said their water park wasn’t busy until 12pm and a lot quicker to get into the park. Our littles enjoyed the water and they have a lot of food sections. Glad we tried out the water park, don’t think we’ll be going back though.
Its a great place. If you are looking for fun for a day, this would be a perfect water park for you.But if you are looking for something very exciting, this may not be the best place for you.Theres a shuttle bus for a USD 20 parking pass. Not too far from the park.We arrive at 1120, leaving around 1700. Save your favorite spot to the last could save your time on queuing. The summer sale of USD 39.99 per person is a great deal.I believe that the raging racer is the best facility for those who like exciting facilities and dislike queuing.
I haven’t been to this water park in over twenty plus years. Last time I came here I was a teenager, but I’ve been wanting to go for as long as I can remember. No place made me and my siblings happier than this place. But my experience today was absolutely horrible. I understand not excepting cash period due to the fact of what is going on I’m the world. But to charge me full price to enter when I am sure that the price could of been prorated due to the fact that we only had maybe an hour to enjoy the water park that I only remember as a kid which we truly loved. It was disappointing to be treated like that when you have so many fond memories of this place. Totally crushed. There could of been some type off assistance on the part of the park to rectify that situation. We where paying customers that only wanted the price to be fair due to the circumstances. I still love this place and I do want to go back before it is closed for the season. 😔 I only put three stars cause even after the disappointment I still enjoyed my self the maybe 45 minutes I had to enjoy what I was able to. I truly felt like a kid again 😌 thanks Raging Waters. I remember when the Lazy River was covered at a certain turn and it looked like a Rain Forest, and would mist all through the covered area. But I see you guys removed it. Sucks, all good though.
Staff was none existent through whole park. Lifeguards had no idea when certain attractions would be reopened. Food is basic theme park food would recommend eating before showing up. Make sure to have at least 100 bucks to cover parking and locker fees. Essshhhhh. For LAs biggest Waterpark I was expecting a little more bang for the buck. Oder tickets online so you dont get charged an additional gate fee of 20 dollars. Good time if the lazy river would stay open whole day not closed half a day. Will not be returning to Raging Waters.......
We visited for the first time today and we are both highly disappointed from what we expected this waterpark to be.First of all we waited like 1 hour to ride the extreme waterslide which is mainly due to visitors that purchased the "no waiting time" thing for another I guess $25 or so, and therefore can skip any existing waiting lines. This results in much longer waiting times for visitors with "general" tickets.Next thing we noticed is that a lot of attractions are out of order. Like half of the waterslides were dry and closed. There were literally only 3-4 slides opened that day that are fun for us since we didnt care much about the kids stuff (which there was a lot of though). Also there is only one regular swimming pool (which is deeper than up to your kneesand that one was heavily crowded even though we visited on a weekday. No diving towers or anything like that at all.Cant say anything about the foods because we left early and didnt try.In the end we both think that this could be a nice place to go with kids but thats it, nothing more. Unless they would open the interesting water slides which were the only reason for us to visit. Its pretty disappointing to see almost all the attractions being closed that you payed your $50 for...
The water park itself was good. Their is great fun for all to enjoy. My 4yr old loved it. It was great because the place has 4 areas where they can play 2 of them only are for 48" and under. My 15yr old enjoyed it to but mentioned long lines and slides not being opened. A lot of people had the fast pass too.The bad part is dont depend on internet their is none or not enough. Print out your tickets or Screenshot your tickets. Its a cashless park. The regular parking is super far you probably would not walk to it. The tram will take you. So dont forget anything. But at the end (closing timethe line is long maybe a 20 to 30 mins wait.Something annoying is the bees. They dont hurt you but when eating they come for your sweets. 🤷🏻♀️ natureFood is pricey so be ready to pay up.
Lots of rides but not enough time to get on all of them. Even if you arrive before noon. Buying a season pass in the beginning of the summer is better. It takes two visits to ride everything. There was lines even on Monday
Ive always loved Raging Waters. And now my boys do too. The new bombs away slide was closed. Neptune had a long line but was worth it. My youngest went on high extreme and said it was his favorite ride. We ate at Pinks. Yummy
Its a very exciting park with many many options!!The lines however are really long and tiering !!The parking is 20$, and they charge 18$ for a locker! The restrooms are not clean, and no shampoo in the showers! There are not enough showers! The staff are really great and friendly!
Lines were ridiculous on a Friday. Many rides were shut down or working half speed due to lack of staff or mechanical issues. We paid for the fast pass which made it tolerable but not worth the expense. Best advice is to just avoid or plan to be patient and not get many rides in.
Let’s start with this place has no procedure in place for telling kids or families that they can’t get on a ride due to weight requirements. We got to the front of the line and the employee straight up said in front of everyone that “you guy’s can’t go on due to being over weight.” Keep in mind my daughter is 14 years old. Then to have to walk all the way back down in the middle of all the people trying to head up.This place is not worth the money. Especially if your paying for the “fast pass.” You still have to wait. This place had3-4 rides closed to to staffing issues. Some rides only 1 lane open.Do your self a favor and save your money and time and stay AWAY FROM THIS PARK. Very disappointed on this water park!!!!!!!
We had fun. The kids had fun. Went on a Monday expecting shorter lines.... parking situation added at least an extra hour to everyones day, it took 30 minutes to get to a lot then waited for a tram/bus... it was the longest shortest day.
Wish I could give a zero or negative rating this is thee most unorganized dirty water park I have ever been to. Half of the rides or attractions were closed and the rides took way longer than what it should have been trust me spend the extra time and drive to hurricane harbor. This place is run by a bunch of 15/16 year olds who do not regulate the lines and let kids crowd other kids. PARK WAS WAY OVERCROWDED our group of 5 decided to leave an a couple hours because it just simply wasnt worth it. Rather take the loss of tickets and parking then deal with that. We will never go back
This park is so much fun; I would recommend bringing the kids! Only about 3 rides werent operating that day, which was great! We got on all of the others! The longest line we waited in was 15 minutes! I will admit, I was expecting a longer wait times. Food was AWESOME!Make sure you remember sun screen AND reapply! Stay hydrated! 💦I would visit again 😍🤞🏼
Got to say the place has changed since I worked there back in 2006 season. There are now two parking areas general park which is a mission to get to and from. You have to take a tram or bus. Kind of a downer cause how long it could take to get to the park and to even get back to your car at the end of the day ( sometimes an hour)and then there is the premium parking. Which is being able to park right outside the main entrance. 😊. The food has not changed a bit it’s still awesome like I remember. Maybe a few dollars more but whatever. Also on the pavilion no more lunch eating area it’s lockers. The rides have changed some there are now 2 new rides. Bombs away which took over Drop out this year 2022. Aqua Rocket which was being built when it was there in 2006. And a change high extreme is no longer a tub ride you use the mats similar to Raging racer. Other than that my kids had amazing time there. A nice way to relax… also remember if you do want to take water or Gatorade bring in a fabric cooler NO HARD COOLERS. I give this place 5 stars because it’s still a nice family place to go to. Hope to see you there on our next trip!!
It might be the biggest water park in California, but it’s not impressive if you’ve been to a big water park anywhere else. We counted 5 major attractions closed—with no sign that they’re repairing them—yet they still charge $70 per adult with tax! Don’t count on being able to buy tickets online at a discount when you arrive. We were hoping to decide whether to go in based on how busy the carpark was, but you’re already committed when you turn off the road and mobile data was seemingly throttled around the entrance. Once inside, the lines were very long. We waited an hour for the longest and highest ride in the park and it was still over in 30s.
Rides do not accommodate bigger people. 250lb limit for single riders and 400lb for duel. I have some really tall friends who weigh more because of their height. We couldn’t get on any rides. Also, the park doesn’t accept cash if that matters to anyone. Just glad we got a refund for the tickets at least.
Cool family spot but there are a lot of negatives. Pizza at the cabana sucks. Preferred parking is $50! Like wow. Ice was not cold in the drinks. Tubes in the lazy river are first come first serve basis. Waves in the wave pool are not even high. Lol But I would come back tho.
It took an hour to get parked and into the park for general parking. If you can afford it, the premium parking seems worth it. The lines were long and moved slowly. You wont be able to get to all the rides in one day without some sort of H2Go pass. There were rides that broke down, some were only partially working and many were closed. The H2Go pass is more than the price of general admission and poorly advertised and explained. The tube system in the wave pool and lazy river is based on luck. I felt nickled and dimed all day. The employees were great. They were helpful, kind and respectful. It seemed most areas were kept clean and tidy. At the end of the day the tram line was crazy. It did seem that they eventually called in backup and got more trams going and we got to the parking lot 30 mins after closing. There is little to no phone service in the park. Not a fault of Raging Waters, just a note when trying to make plans and coordinate.
A summer day perfectly spent with kids and friends!Pristine wave pool , kiddie pool, and those big slides huh!! The big slides are more than enough for your adequate adrenaline flow...Please remember of the long lines you will be experiencing for all big rides..This was my second visit in 4 years and as always I found 2 to 3 rides were under maintenance.Make sure you have enough of sunscreen and a sunglass.Food inside is too expensive ,and not that savory , if you are taking premium parking $50, you may bring food and keep in cooler.Have a waterproof mobile pouch or keep it in locker. Complete park is now cashless.Njoy
Magical nice safe wonderful lines not too long friendly and whatever you do get the season pass it comes with excellent perks, youll thank me later, excellent excellent
Kids love this place even though they are not into rides. Lazy river is great. There are quite a few pools for kids to have fun. So far not as many people as last year. Lines are not long at all.
The line to the parking lot gets to the freeway. They really need to manage it better. The line at the entrance gate is very long too and the process is extremely slow. They look for the food in your bag, no food allowed to bring in, so you can eat their chicken sandwich for $14.99 each and it tastes nasty. The park is not very clean and there is not too much guidance.Price for the season pass is not hight at all and you can bring your friends in too.The regular parking (20$, far away from the park, you need take tram to the parkis also included in the season pass.Kids enjoy it, but too much time to wait.
This place is HUGE! We came to Raging Waters LA for the first time and absolutely had an epic day here. The staff, from the entry, bus driver, food service, slides attendants, to lifeguards were so kind, polite, and attentive! Plenty of seating and tables, safe & spacious lockers, the pool/water play area is clean, extensive variations of water rides intensity, from most thrilling, moderate, to mild.We loved:- High Extremes (exhilarating, tallest one)- Aqua Rocket, Neptunes Fury, Dr. Von Darks Tunnel of Terror, Thunder Rapids (so amazing for a group of 4)- Amazon Adventure (like floating on a tropical river, great with floaties)- Dragons Den, Dark Hole (nice for a duo)- Wave Cove (wavy pool just like on the beach)- The Bermuda Triangle (felt the rush, a bit rough downward dark tunnels)Although the lines for the popular rides were long and the shower was quite decent (cold showers only), the atmosphere was lively and amusing. Highly recommend this waterpark, especially for summer activities and visiting in a group; with your friends and family.
This is a solid and large water park with a lot of thrill rides. The only real downside is the steep hill (which makes a lot of the thrill rides possible, actually, but still). The lazy river is large, plenty of things for children, and you can rent cabanas for the day for some privacy and shade.
Overall good and fun experience. Got there early at 10 and parking was NOT a hassle. The ride lines were tolerable at first but as the park crowded they became super long waits. The lazy river was real nice even as packed with people as it was. The food was good, but pricey even for amusement park prices. $14 Carls Jr burger was pushing it but $11 for ONE slice of pizza was a little absurd. The Lemonade stand was closed and I was told its been closed for some time now with no plans to open. The Icee stand was closed with a sign saying it doesnt work a few times a day even tho the park is only open 8 hours. The lockers were not to bad at $20 for a large locker and they were easy to use. The ride where you ride the constant wave was not open the entire time we were at the park which was really disappointing, I hope it opens again soon.I am only considering the season pass to go a few times a year for a couple hours as they open, otherwise the wait time for rides gets waaaayy too long.
Good Place for family.last year I bought three season tickets for our family.we played in there. My kids love it!
Nice and relaxing day once we were permitted to go in area for Cabana we reserved! Gates opened at 10am, wasnt allowed in area to check-in for Cabana til after 10:15am,then not allowed in Cabana area til 11:00am...Wasted time just standing around.Need better procedure to accommodate guest.
The place is a good place to visit with family and friends, to have fun in the water, the rides are good... Just that making a line for so long! Its crazy, by the time they close, you dont enjoy all the rides, maybe a few, and if you want the line to be faster, you have to buy a pass that is a bit pricey 🏊🏼♀️🌊💦⛲😎☀️well other than that my family and I had fun, did our best to enjoyed as much as we could
Parking is soooo bad.. we waited on one parking line for 40 mins to be told to go around to another lot n wait another 45 mins then walk down the dirt road to wait another 20 mins for a trolley. We spent more time trying to find the parking lot then in the actual waterpark. & Parking is CASH ONLY btw.The park needs to be open till at least 7pm to be worth ur money. We got on 2 rides in 3 hrs😫. Total disappointment would not come againTip: be here at 8am or dont come at all, bring ur own lifejackets. Also kids cut non stop specially if they see ur not watching.
Super fun! Honestly hope theres more rides coming in!Also, there needs to be more bathrooms. To my knowledge theres only one set and they need to be tidied up a bit more, but overall the park is super fun. Please add more single-rider things!
They don’t call Raging Waters the largest and finest waterpark in California for nothing. This 60-acre watery wonderland is home to over 50 mind-blowing slides, rides and attractions.A must-try attraction is the world-class Aqua Rocket, the first and only water hydromagnetic roller coaster in California. For an extra shot of adrenaline, experience the park’s seven-story drop, one of the country’s tallest. What’s more, you can go on a wild 600-foot ride with speeds reaching up to 30 miles per hour at Neptune’s Fury.If you’re not in the mood for big-time thrills, the park is home to kid-approved attractions, like pools and a lazy river.
Today we spent thr day Raging Waters Los Angeles kicking off my tweens birthday! Some hot tips...* there is food, towels, drinks, water needs like waterproof cases all on site so if you forget something, jsut ask!* dietary menus for special needs and accommodations, welcomed and can be helped... just ask!* you can rent a tube all day for $8 to take it with you as needed, you can also rent a cabana all day.* cabanas differ in size and location and you can even add a party package (more to come in my recap post)* plenty of shade around the waterpark so feel free to bring a blanket, chair, hand held brella to post up in a spot all day!* #KIISfm is on site at the wave pool every Friday until August 30!* season passes for next year go on sale soon and they include the rest of the summer too keep an eye out!* H2Go passes are the way to go.. works like a fast pass & saves time for many of the major water rides.* relax in the lazy river or take your toddlers into the toddler under 48" tall area for safe play.So many things to do and enjoy at the largest water park in socal!
Been going here since a kid, best water park in So Cal! Perfect for all ages. Me and my friends made it a tradition to go here every year. Weve had some of the best memories at this place growing up as kids! Drop Out was always a challenge for the crew some and would and some wouldnt lol! Black Hole was always a thrill. The one ride where you can get on with about 6 people was our final ride as we flip around and fell off on purpose lol! Raging waters will always be historic to is!!
Its ok for a one time trip, but be prepared for a massive amount of nickel-and-diming. $15 for parking, $20 for cooler storage, $15-20 for a locker, $7 for an inner tube rental because they intentionally keep the supply low... it just keeps going. Food also takes about 30 minutes to get due to horribly inefficiency. This wouldnt be so bad if they didnt bad outside food. The rides are pretty good though, and the park does seem clean.
