A private members' club founded in 1967, frequented by the well-heeled and the famous.
Rude doormen and terrible vibe and customer service once in the club. Avoid at all costs!
I do not recommend this club anymore, it is no longer what it used to be. And the "security" is extremely rude and unprofessional.
Horrible staff. I ordered a Moscow Mule at my arrival (which I’ve been drinking for many years, so I know how it tastes), but the barman made it so sour that it was undrinkable. Everyone who tried it said it was disgusting and that I should complain, so I politely asked the bar staff to either redo it or potentially replace it with a different drink, considering how much I paid for it. The staff who tasted it agreed that it was disgusting, but because it was made by the bar manager, they had to agree with him and let him deal with me. Not only he told me « that’s how we make it here, so if you don’t like it, that’s your problem », he then literally poured syrup in my drink without my permission, saying « here, take it, it should be more sweet now » and basically asked me to leave him alone. What sane person pours syrup in someone’s £20 Moscow Mule drink to make it taste better?I was sober, I was hoping to get a couple of drinks and enjoy my night. This has completely ruined my experience and although the DJ was great, I left early because I didn’t want to spend another penny in a place that treats customers this way.
Busy / vibey club. Be warned have to pay entry but all in all seemed like a bussy place. Ask to speak to the manager regarding something during the night and the two (very beautiful ladiesMaren and Alexandra were super helpful. Managed to speak to Andrew C who, I believe, is the owner or manger who was equally as wonderful and helpful. Thanks team, Olive
Better make sure you fit the mold or they won’t let you in
The club seemed promising, however it was very disappointing and do not recommend to anyone.Me and my friends were staying in front of the club just chatting, when suddenly I was physically pushed out towards the street, by the bodyguards of the club, telling me to go away, with out any good reason. Apart from these aggressive, harmful and unacceptable behaviour, the guards were rude to the rest of the clients too.Its crazy to go out with friends and expect to enjoy your night, but end up being harassed and treated poorly by the staff.Hope these review helped, preventing you from visiting this place, so you dont waste your money and time.
They should really focus on doing better recruitment when it comes to hiring staff. You would expect to find decent customer service for a high end club "frequented by the well-heeled". A friend of mine and myself have been grabbed by the harm on two different occasions during the night by this blonde waitress that told (did not ask, which would have made a differenceus to vacate two different tables we were sitting at. What made it really uncomfortable is her total lack of manners, something you would expect from someone that works in hospitality. On the contrary the bouncer outside was friendly and made sure all the girls waiting for taxis where safe.
The bouncer was extremely racist to a guy in the smoking area. Rude staff, terrible atmosphere, worst club in London.
Overrated place with rude staff at the door (staff in the club is actually relatively adequatewhich seemingly decide when you can or cannot get in at a whim, irregardless of dress code or individuals in your group.Youre better off just having some connections to have a guaranteed entry or flip a coin and take your own risks.
It is not a girls friendly place, the staff and bouncers are incredibly rude, they push people and talk down on women. Dont waste your money
I visited the place for the first time as a friend took me to the location. I would highly argue that their is nothing exclusive about it. Way to over-priced. We payed for the table GBP 1.240 and I was shocked by the price. You get nothing for your money, I literally mean nothing. Just because someone is giving you some drinks and water doesnt justify the price. The DJ was bad in my oppinion and the club is very small. It looks like a restaurant at daytime and at nighttime people just take away the furniture and pretend its a nightclub. Imcrease the price by a 50x and thats it.I would never recommend anyone to visit that place. I dont even know why people want to go there.
Always so much fun with friends here ! The best music and always looked after very well. Queue may be long but only if big DJ playing. Great nights to be had 🤍
Horrible ,don’t go !! Sister got spiked on the weekend and the owner Ben banks didn’t even care - dodgy place
Never seen a place that would charge 400£ for a bottle and then separately charge you for red bulls as soft drink .. embarrassing
Sadly the Albanian bouncers here think this club is located in the middle of nowhere and they can getaway with aggression you are in london buddy club owner should look into re-hiring better more gentle bouncers.
never been disrespected so much, we noticed the Albanian bouncers who run the club are very aggressive, rude, they love taking cash under table, they let anyone they like in and if they don’t want you they’ll make up a reason to refuse entry, my mate Oliver was refused entry after Albanian guy started chatting up his girlfriend and he politely told the guy that’s his girl he kicked him out we left quietly but I wished the owner would take action we will never come back to this venue ever again.
Albanian security guy was racist to us we book table for graduation day he called us Chinese c**t and we are polite people with money it was upsetting to hear this I’m not even Chinese, I’m Brazilian
Corrupt Albanian bouncers who let their own kind in without being on the guest list. Worst club ever . You could reserve a table days before and if they don’t like the look of you they’ll refuse you entry 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ . Horrible environment. I’ll not be going there again.
Lady with the black hair is SO RUDE. Looked me and my friends up and down and denied us entry for NO reason. She lied about some “event” going on and wouldn’t let us in but let other people in who had no idea there was even an event going on.
Very very rude bar staff. When we had an issue and asked to speak to a manager he responded “they won’t care, you’re just another customer to us”.
Great experience in this club. Music is great, vibes and people having fun, staff very welcoming. Such a great time, will come back for sure. Go for pre-drinks to Jak’s King’s Road and then head to Raffles -promise you won’t regret your night out.
Horrible place and one of the worst clubs in london. no respect for members either. Everyone on a power trip, avoid and go to much better places in london.
Very odd experience. Rates itself as exclusive but after booking an exclusive table they decided to base entry on who appeared to have the most daddy money. I have never experienced such backward entry policy but ultimately not worth visiting. Very new money and not classy. Its a shame that its no longer considered classy.
Dreadful. Security difficult and rude, not a nice place to chill or have fun unfortunately. The only thing is that they are open late so people go there as a last stop, nothing else. Will not recommend this it at all, not worth it.
Saw a young lady get dragged out the other evening after she simply asked the security guard why her friend was not allowed in. They were extremely aggressive with her and left her in tears. Quite disgusted by the securities behaviour and would call it assault. Poor lady, never going back there. Do not recommend.
Very rude and pretentious. Especially people who work at the door and the lady who lets people in. We would have been happy to spend the 750 pounds minimum but not with this attitude. We prefer to spend it somewhere more decent and with better hospitality than this sorry
I would give this a ZERO star but there is no option. One of the worst clubs I have ever been to. Overrated and dry music. DJ had no idea how to play decent music. And couldnt work out the MAJORITY of the crowd wanted Hip hop and Rnb. These couldnt mix decent tunes together. Sounded like one long base track with poor mixing of other songs. Dont waste your time or money.
Atrocious music. Non-recipient DJs who are completely unaware of the vibes in the club. Very weird music that cannot be classfied as deep house, techno and certainly not dance nor r&b. All requests were met with deaf ears. We were told r&b comes on when the club closes. Do not come here if you want food music to dance to.
This is not a review on the bar itself. But Kelly (I hope I got the right namefrom the cloakroom was amazing tonight. She let me charge my phone on her charger when it was dead. And then when I misplaced my jacket ticket she went above and beyond to find it! Literally finding me on the street to give it too me. I really really appreciate the service. You are amazing! ThanksSam
My first and certainly not my last time at this club. As a nightclub owner myself, I probably appreciate these types of businesses from a different perspective from the average customer. I thought for a bustling London nightclub the experience was impressively personable with the owners themselves being on the floor, the door, bar and the back. It was a lot smaller than I expected which is actually quite nice because it felt like a private party it’s pretty damn impressive that they had a DJ like Pete Tong playing for such a small club as well!
Most energetic and amazing dance place ever great lighting effect and themed venues
Rude and obnoxious door staff, clearly on a power trip and not concerned with maintaining basic respect to their customers. When they threw up all kinds of obstacles before letting me into the club, I was so cheesed off that I took one look inside and went straight off again. I didnt want to stay a moment longer.I have visited most of the best known Central London clubs and this has got to be the worst of the lot.
My friend had to tip these rude pigs to get us in and we also paid the normal entry fee 20 quid each, they clearly favour those who are willing to tip and treat others like trash. They feel entitled to your wallet, including the rude girl outside asking people about reservationsWe got in and was disappointed with the sandine boxed size club, and the bouncers push into you every few minutes, no space to move freely, negative vibe altogether so we left. Now I see why the club has low ratings and terrible reviews, and I wonder if the positive reviews are even genuine
I have been coming to raffles for many years now and can honestly say that the refurb and new management has truly saved and changed the place. This is such great spot in Chelsea and you can always rely on having the best time. The crowd is really fun, its always packed and has great music/DJs. And not to mention the 5am licence which no other local place has. The service is great and its always so great to catch up with the team who always make sure youre well looked after.Long story short, Absolutely love Raffles, its always my go to!
Such a good place to head to for a night out, full of lovely staff! The girls toilets are gorgeous, the music is great and the venue & location is perfect! Cant recommend enough! Stephanie xx
Great spot and latest licence in west London! Open till 5am Tuesday to Saturday I think, so always the place to head if you feel like a big night or carrying on. Recently under new management so it’s been refurbed and they have massively improved the music, which has brought in a good crowd.
Raffles had always been a place I would spend an evening once in a while, but the refurbishment and the new management have made it infinitely better. The staff are incredibly attentive and the venue itself is stunning. I now consider it my favourite place for a night out in London.
By far the best club in K&C, especially since the revamp. I attended a Christmas party there last week and all of the staff went above and beyond to ensure that it was a memorable night. Will certainly be returning soon.
Anyone leaving bad reviews has clearly never been to a nightclub before. Drinks aren’t free, yes you need ID, yes you’ll be told to shut up if you’re loud outside as it’s a residential area. Raffles members club is highly recommended. It’s recently renovated to a super high standard and it offers the best and latest nights in London. What more do you want? I’ve been a few times since the reopening and love it. Special shout out to the best toilet attendant - Amos. Looking forward to seeing what they have to offer in the new year!
I have come to Raffles for quite a few years now and the new Raffles is absolutely amazing!!! Love it. Raffles is the place to be in West London and one of the best clubs I’ve been to in ages. The staff were much more friendly than they used to be smiling and asking how I’ve been and remembering me from previous times which is really key.The bathrooms are incredible and love the dressing room area for girls to gossip and touch up their makeup. They’ve still kept their signature delicious drinks and shots from back in the days (crack babys/crack Daddyswhich some of the bar men still know how to make. Well done Raffles and keep up the amazing work! I’ll definitely be there this Christmas.
I visited on Saturday for the first time for my friends birthday, we were all in good spirits having fun. The only friendly members of staff were the lovely toilet attendants. The drinks were so overly priced with smeared cheap glasses. The club was dingy and had a really sticky floor. We went for a cigarette in the smoking corner outside, one of the bouncers was very rude told me to be quiet and grabbed my arm hard which left me shocked and upset! I will taking matters further and will never return!
Most expensive club I have ever been in. 4 Hendricks and 4 patron = £124. Having a laugh. Clientele so far up their own buttocks its actually comedy to watch. Be careful of the £20 entrance fee. Bit steep unless you are an investment #anker. Music ok for a dance.
Absolutely love Raffles. Great music, the staff are really lovely and polite, compared to most other west end clubs. Francesco from Privilege Entertainment helped us out from the beginning, made sure entry was smooth. He was very sweet, made sure we had a good night, and he really looked after us!
Best club in London. Amazing staff, door staff, hostesses, waiters, bartenders. High caliber guests. If you do not dress up properly do not blame the door-lady, she is the nicest in London. Deffo spending all Fridays and Saturdays at Raffle Chelsea.
Always spend my Fridays & Saturday at Raffles. Never been disappointed form the staff. Crowd is amazing. Guys, if you want to see the most beautiful and elegant girls in London round up some good money and get a table. ps: dress code is very important or you wont get in :)
This place gets two stars only because it has a light up dance floor and good music. The door service was atrocious, as the two girls working the door were both rude and couldnt do math, and my friend ended up paying the cover twice. On top of that, the team of bouncers were all disrespectful and too aggressive. Never going back!
Terrible staff. Good music. Was there for a private uni event and the bouncers were very very hostile. They found the smallest excuse to throw you out and half my sober friends were thrown out. If you talk to someone that was thrown out they will try to throw you out as well.Terrible bouncers and expensive drinks. If you can get past that the music is good.
The venue is pretty, door girls have more attitude than they can bare, drinks are overpriced and choice of cocktails limited. The music varies from night to night, but you wont really notice since most people are too much in themselves and not enough in the music, which results in a lot of loud empty chatter and too many selfie-flashes. Soundsystem is OK but if you want to hear anything decently youve got to stay pretty close to the speakers.
One of the worst clubs I have been to in London. First of all it is over crowded with zero customer service. Then the doorman pinched me in the hand when walking past. I complained to the manager/owner, and nothing was done as if I had to keep hush-hush as I was making a scene!! Apparently he even admitted it and replicated what he had some a second which was really sore and stung, if someone is in your way tell them or politely move them to the side and certainly dont pinch them!!
This place was not my favourite! The place itself is tiny and crowded. I thought it would be nice to go once seeing as there was a lot of hype about it in regards to its clientele. It was too hot inside and stuffy and the people were a bit off! However, the highlight is definitely the mirror with star lights that frame its rectangular frame. You can take artsy fauxsy pictures here and rest your feet! (something you probably dont overtly look for in a club night out).
