A little lackluster. Excellent service but the food just wasnt anything special, especially for the price.

This place was one of the best. We had a large group (7), including kids and Irene was the best!And the food was great too!

They are on point with curbside pickup! First restaurant Ive seen that has it 100% right on! Food is, as always, very tasty, made my day better! Chicken salad is delicious! Croissant rolls yummm!

I have their club sandwich my gf had their chef salad without eggs. Both were amazing, they were so good I totally forgot to take pictures.

I haf a huge swing and a miss here. Half the croissants appetizers were raw, cheeseburgers came with shredded cheese instead of slice cheese, never saw this before. Mash potatoes were cold. Not sure i would try again.

Everything is delicious. But I get buffalo tossed chicken tenders (sauce on the sideNever disappoints. Service is fast and friendly.

Good food, service was a little slow, and definitely pricey. But for the price paid you get your monies worth

Their potato soup is phenomenal! I always have great service at this location. I’d recommend again and again.

Enjoyed lunch today with friends. The food was great and the service amazing! Waiter encouraged me to try the chicken noodle soup and I am so glad I did.

Great service and we always love the buffalo fried chicken salad with honey mustard and hot bacon grease dressing! The croissant is amazing too!!

Awesome food great service what more could you ask for they gave my wife who was celebrating her upcoming birthday on Wednesday a little early a free ice cream and chocolate dish they went out of thier way to make sure we had a great meal experience.

When my husband was living we always went here I still go when I can love the soup and salad and a homemade Hot bacon dressing

Weve eaten at Raffertys once in 26 years. We didnt remember why we didnt go back, so tonight we gave it a shot. It will probably be another 26 years before we come back. The food was average at best. The prices were ridiculously high for the quality of food. And the service... well, Im had happier and more efficient servers at a McDonalds drive through.

Lack of communication is all I have to say. We show up for a party of two and stated we would sit aand was told the wait time would be only 10-15 minutes. After 25 minutes I go to ask about how much longer and was told there is only one party ahead of us and then we are next to be seated and that should only be 10 more minutes. However 55 minutes later we are still waiting to be seated with no explanation as to how a 10-15 minute wait has turned into an hour wait. All we ask is to have been told it was an hour wait when we initially arrived and we could have prepared

Delicious!! Theyre quick to get you seated, even during the after church rush! The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious!!! The croissants and their blue cheese butter is soooo good! The loaded potato soup is also one of my favorites! We love going to Raffertys when were in Athens!

Raffertys, you have some awesome employees!!!10-26-21In shock and awe again!!! Jake did not disappoint!!! Had another meal that was freaking awesome,.... the whole staff needs a pat on the back, server Jake needs to be named by name for the service he provided!!! The bar tender brought our crissonts, several other servers help take care of our table which was just my wife and me. The cook made an absolute amazing prime rib. The manager was very confident in his staff!!! Will be back for sure!!! I absolutly enjoy spending my hard earned money for service that knocks my socks off!!! THANK YOU RaffertyS#@Look@# !!! Had the absolute best meal in quite a while tonight!!! Jake was our server and he was FREAKING !!!! AWESOME!!!! He didnt hover at all,.... worked every single table around us and worked us to a "T". PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Believe the rumors, this place is absurd the food is HORRIBLE. I got the prime open face (no flavor with a hint of propane gas taste (inedible). How can you mess up a baked sweet potato, it was awful, and the Caesar salad threw me for a loop. How can you mess up a Caesar salad. SMH! I couldn’t eat any of it. Wow!! Low quality food that tasted like a low-end free complimentary meal, but worst. This place is a joke. This was around 4:00pm and I hadn’t eaten anything since around 8 am that morning. Sad part is I was starving and I still couldn’t eat it.

They sat us right away and it was very clean place. Order 10z sirloin steak and loaded baked potato was good too. The salad was watery and the ranch dressing. Other than that food was great.

Great food. Good portions. You get your moneys worth which is nice! Menu has alot of options on it. Service is good as well. 5 stars!

A little pricey but the food was so so...my steak was mushy (I ordered the sirloin). The salad was good.

Its been a long while since my last visit. The prices are a bit higher, but the food and service were great. Nice atmosphere. Ample seating for our large group.

I haven’t been to Rafferty’s in over 25 years. The food is just as delicious now as it was then. We had the buffalo tenders mac & cheese for appetizer. The club sandwich was packed with ham and turkey. My husband had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and my father in law had the bbq burger with garlic mashed potatoes. When we’re back in Athens, we’ll be visiting Rafferty’s again.

I gotta say I was very surprised how well this steak was prepared. Usually you have to go to Porterhouse to get a well done steak cooked without it being dry and hard and actually taste good. It was great! Salad fresh and the croissants are always amazing! Big kudos to the staff that took my order. She helped me make my online order over the phone and it came out perfect!

Was ok. Nothing surprising, in either a good or bad way. Server didnt know answers to simple questions (beers on tap, ounce sizes of the small vs large drafts). Mashed potatoes looked to have been microwaved and then not stirred in their bowl - rack of ribs was small, yet tasty - French fries were good, "blackened" salmon was more spiced than blackened. Was crowded, and yet I cant guess why.

It had been awhile since we ate dinner here. Our prime rib dinner was really good. Service was excellent too!

Had a server named Dabney I think and she was AMAZING. The best waitress I’ve ever had by far. Drink stayed full which is rare these days and was so kind. Deserves a raise or something for sure. Or a 20+% tip on ever check. Will be returning to have her as my waitress again.

This restaurant is Beautiful.They have a deck and a bar with TVs.The waiters are so kind and hard working!The food is wonderfully good!!!I give it 10 stars!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗🤤🤤🤤

Most everything Ive tried is great, except the ribs were kinda meh. The croissants are popular, and while not normally a fan, they are great here, so dont miss them!

Raffertys is always on point. There has never been a time in the past 10-15 years that Ive ever had bad service or food. Its consistently delicious and the service is prompt.

Ordered medium well hamburger and got home with it about to eat and I noticed that the hamburger was brown on the outside but raw in the middle. They sent a gift card and used it to get a half rack of ribs. Husband said they were very good but not enough.

Its been my favorite in Athens for 30 + years! Ive ate here so many times. Tried almost everything. Its all delicious and service is always fantastic! Consistently amazing and thats why its my absolute favorite! Cant think of another restaurant I can say that about!

This place never disappoints! The best thing on the menu is the cheese fries! But honestly everything is good. The honey butter croissants are also super tasty. Just another Athens staple. It’s not a corporate-feeling sports bar like Buffalo Wild Wings or a corporate bar and grill like Applebees. It’s the things you love about those places without the things you hate. Comfortable vibe without the corporate feel or corporate cost cutting. If you’ve lived in Athens for any length of time, it just feels like home.

Went with a few friends. One person ordered steak extra rare, it came out extra well. I ordered a burger, medium, it came out extra well. Basically everything was burnt except the potatoes. Speaking of which, my French fries were amazing. The only good thing I can say about the experience.The server barely checked up on us at all and our glasses stayed empty pretty much the whole meal. Then they got all the bills wrong, and then I paid in cash and everybody else with card and they didnt bring me any change. So they got a $7 tip from me by basically just forgetting to bring me the chance. I was so much wanting to get out of there from the bad service that I didnt realize they forgot to bring me my change until I was half way home.

A consistently great dining experience! My only complaint could be the popularity of this restaraunt causes a wait during peak times, but.... Its worth the wait.

I rarely take the time to leave a negative review, but I need to share that this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we have had. The service was not great. We were there at 2:30 on a Saturday and were seated right away. Our salads came out so late, then our entrees were served about 2 minutes later so they sat on the table while we ate the salads. On the bright side, our salads were so terrible that we did not eat them, so the food didn’t have to sit long. I’ve put a photo of the salads to show how awful they were. They were literally sitting in water. My salmon did not look like a typical piece of salmon, I should have known then, but managed to eat half. That was Saturday and today is Tuesday and I am still having stomach cramps and vomiting. This was absolutely from our meal at Raffertys because it was the only thing I had eaten that day and have not been able to eat much of anything since because I’ve been so sick. Do not recommend at all.

Customer service was amazing and very quick with orders! It was a Wednesday night but there was still a steady crowd! Food was excellent didnt order anything fancy just burgers and fries but they displayed with elegance and exceeded my taste buds expectations! Great place over all! Enjoy it if you have the chance!

Ive been to Raffertys twice now. Each time Ive eaten here has been very enjoyable. The food taste fresh and I love the grilled flavor! The service is always fast and friendly. This is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to dine with friends. Looking forward to exploring their other menu items.

This was the best food I have had at a restaurant in a long time. From the time you walk in the service starts and it doesn’t stop until you leave. The food was amazing. Everything was cooked as we ordered, we had a couple of special requests and they were quite happy to accommodate us. we even had a to go order for My husband and he said the food was great also. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks Raffertys team, for the courtesy shown to us by ALL the crew and thanks for the awesome food! we Finished 2021 with an amazing meal at an amazing restaurant!!

Still open after all these years is a testament to the quality of their food and the high level of service.

This place was great for our quick lunch today. The chicken salad was amazing and the potato soup was so delicious. Will definitely be back next time in Athens! GO DAWGS!

This was my husbands and I’s first time here, and although we were super excited to check out this place, it was honestly a disappointment. We got seated very quickly and our server was very nice, but once we finally got the food it was such a disappointment. My salad was just “meh”. I tried the garlic ranch dressing along with the vinaigrette and both were terrible. And the chicken fingers in my salad were the worst I’ve ever had - greasy and flavorless. I ate most of my salad just bc I was starving, but it was not enjoyable whatsoever. My husband waited a while for mayo to be brought over as there was hardly any on his burger. He said the burger was nothing special and the fries were SUPER greasy and oily which he wasn’t a fan of. Our server was nice but honestly didn’t stop by our table very often and we had to wait and call her over many times in order to have anything brought over.At some point, we will definitely come back here bc I genuinely want to try other things on the menu and give this place another shot, but the food itself was not that good from today.

Food was good. However my steak had a faint hint of being cooked over propane gas. No sure. We had Cowboy steak and prime rib. Sweet potato and baked potaoe. Both had salad and their honey nut crossiants were delicious. So light and fluffy. Paige was a new server and it a great job.

First time eating here and so far the staff is amazing, so kind and happy! Great energy, which is like a breath of fresh air, bc often restaurant servers can be moody! Food looks great!

Very friendly wait staff and the chicken salad with fruit was the perfect summer lunch! I wish I had taken a picture because presentation was lovely. And this dessert was sooooo good!

Very nice establishment, inside is very clean /well put together. And staff and waiters are very friendly. The menu has a large selection, I chose the Kona chicken which comes with grilled chicken , ham and pineapple and it was very delicious. 5 stars!

Delicious food, I like to go on Tuesday for the Prime Rib Special, which is the best prime rib Ive ever tasted compared to other restaurants. Their chicken tenders are also really good! We like the croissants as well except without pecans. Ask for the waiter Jake, he was awesome! He asked me many questions of wants and needs, went above and beyond my expectations compared to other servers in the past. Thank you!

OMG the club sandwich is amazing, HUGE, but amazing!! Fresh thick cut deli meats and this bread that was melt in your mouth! Brocolli was a little bland but super fresh and I mean, its brocolli, lol .... we also had the shaved prime rib sandwich, ugh, it was soooo delicious!! A little heavy on the stomach but man, I couldnt get enough!! Great service, was able to sit outside and it was lovely!

Ive been here several times, and the service and food is always phenomenal. Everything is clean, and the food comes out perfectly cooked, seasoned, and on time. I requested to go here for my birthday meal with my family this year. Great place! I particularly love the croissants and their amazing potato soup.UPDATE: Still five-star service and food. I went about a month ago with my husband, who has now been diagnosed with Celiac disease and cant have gluten (even a crumb from cross-contact). The service was fantastic, and we felt comfortable enough that he actually ordered a steak here and just didnt get sides. He didnt get sick. They showed us a little gluten-free menu thing they have, and we had good luck. Good experience!

Busy , but what great place isnt? Food is off the scale and the staff is never far! Prices can be a bit up there, but the size of meals make it so worth it! Made for an amazing Bday dinner spot! Well worth the choas of people.
