it’s ok not amazing
Ok
The worst place I have ever been to! Too bad even to be true, but good for hillbillies!
Tip top!!!
Nice place, located in the town of montevideo
We had lunch at the restaurant, and the food was truly delicious. There was a wide variety of food, to suite all kinds of palates, and you basically go up and serve yourself, to whatever you want, as many times as you want.
My and my family had rent 2 rooms for a couple of days , the hotel seems okay no bad , but one thing I can assure the people that works at the front desk are rude , and not friendly , I will make sure that I dont stay any other Radisson hotel in any other country , zero friendly for the people that go travel in Uruguay , train the personal at the desk to be more humble so they can provide a better Information cero clue about the hotel
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, extremely bad manners by the staff and cant provide room service during afternoon on a Tuesday. Extremely disappointed to have paid for a suite. DO NOT RECOMMENDED
So far this is the best place to be! Will give them more than 5 stars if I could...Service 5 star, from the doorman to the waiter, politeness at its best, super helpfulFood all dishes and cocktails excellent! This beautiful Hotel and Casino, has everything... Spa, Full Gym, indoor Olympic Pool you have no need to go out is a Resort life in the city. Well worth of staying 2 nights or long stayFamily friendly oriented.Super confortstable Bedroom, Amazing Views from the Breakfast room breathtaking the city, Port, Ocean and Rambla close to everything!
it is terable hotel everyhting is old. Personal working slow and dont care. It was firs time for me bad expariance in Radisson.
Liked the hotel, it is little bit old but the employees are wonderful, nice experience
Nice rooms, nice view from our room 20. floor. Bad Service during breakfast time. The tables were not cleaned when the guests left the tables. Dirty dishes were never cleared at the table. That was not very pleasant. We would not come again.
My stay here was amazing, the facilities are amazing here and the rooms are usually all inclusive of swimming pool and spa.
Very charming hotel. The Breakfast room in the 25 floor offers a grandios view to the Port. The Suite has everything. Enough place, a sitting room, bath and master bedroom. We do not want to leave.
Very poor service. Poor rooms. Horrible food. Escalators non functional.
Generous granite and marble lobby, average rooms. Breakfast buffet ok but unexciting.Bad anecdote: Checked out forgetting all my insulin supplies in the fridge. Called at 8 pm and explained the emergency, asking to check the fridge, so that I can come, from punta del este, to get my vital supply. Outrageously, they strictly refused to bother the new guest by knocking at his door. Only next day at 2 pm, they called to tell me they found my insulin. By that time, I had spent the morning at a hospital getting new insulin supplies, at great cost to the overseas traveller, so I told them to stick the insulin where it hurts. Not a place I can recommend.
Was here for a conference, at least the coffee was good... So take it for what its worth.
Noisy place. Walls are enough thin to transmit all kind of noise almost without any filter, and the hotel management is not enough rigorous. Unfortunately you might end up having neighbours having fun and auto-tune the whole night. Avoid this place, if you want to sleep or for business travel. No chance to sleep, especially over the weekend: there are several party places around. A pitty; the infrastructure is not that bad.
The hotel is located within walking distance of the old town.Comfortable room. Could be renovated, particularly the bathroom.Friendly staff. However, we were not given help finding our room or given an explanation of the hotel at check in.There was no information folder about the room or the hotel.Coffee machine could not be used, as there was no filter or Coffee. Only 2 t bags each day between 2 of us. No vanity kits etc in bathroom. The restaurant did not open for dinner.Breakfast was very good. The massage rooms in the spa do not reflect a 4 or 5 star hotelHowever masseuse was very nice and gave a good massage.Overall, disapointing for a Radisson hotel.
Not for me. It is not a business friendly hotel. Nice location. Installations are old, breakfast place and food are ok, nice view from a top floor. WiFi is nonexistent despite paying a premium price for high speed. Ended up using my mobile phone line to download work files. The travel agency forgot to include the last night and I was almost evicted. Unbelievable front desk told me that my room was reserved from someone else. Really?? I had a further reservation at the hotel (prepaidand I cancelled it. Went to a better hotel near the mall and WiFi (freeworked well.
The food at the bistro is fantastic!!! Great portions and the price is appropriate for the quality and serving, particularly for Montevideo. The rissoto is great as is the bife del chef.
Rooms were good and clean but the bathroom was out dated and needed renovation. 4 / 5Staff were friendly and helpful. 5 / 5Breakfast buffet had many options. But the fruits felt like they were canned and bulk of the items lacked flavour. The resturant did have an awesome view (at the top of the hotel over looking the sea). 3.5 / 5Price was a little on the high side, though I did book late. 3 / 5
In the main city hall, near to all activities. Huge rooms, but the renovation would be a great think;)
First of all, I’m rating the spa and not the hotel...The pool is a bit dirty and looks like it needs a bit of refurbishment, however, the package of 10 entries to use jacuzzi, sauna and pool is absolutely great and fairly cheap. Also the staff at the spa is friendly.. on the contrary of the staff of the hotel!
Clean, good servuce, nice food, and nice breakfast fromn25th floor with breathtaking views. Business cneter is also very convinient as it was free and they have 4 computers, 1 printer and a water for those who need to drink.HOWEVER, the hotel has a very very bad elevator, that will leave you waiting and will took forever to respond a call to go down to lobby. Some guests press up and VOILA, the elevator respond but you must go up, and then go down to lobby. The elevatir will jot go down unless an elevator is taking a guest up and return down. Please take care of this, as it was really inconvinient.
It honors the Art Deco style of the buildings around it. Piano player in the lounge around 9pm.on weekends. The air conditioning is kept quite cool during summer.
For five stars the hotel could be better but very nice view from the rooms.
Great place great location facilities kind of old , spa not that great too old, gym small
Excellent attention to your needs and quick to deliver on it. Everyone treated us with the utmost respect, the rooms we enjoyed were impeccable. Almost everyone speaks English and if there was someone who didnt, they would quickly find help to better understand us. Get in, get rested and take a short cab ride to Facal for some class and fantastic food.
Only 2 MB of Wi-Fi is not free Wi-Fi! (And no, its definitely not enough for basic communication, Ms. Correa)
Great hotel. Beautiful place for breakfast. Great gym and swimming pool
Nice hotel with a great gym (olympic pool and cool work out machines, running trail etc). The room was somewhat clean, although furnitures seem to be dated. Breakfast was good with quite a few options.Suggestions to the hotel:I was not able to close the tap in bathroom, and they sent a maintenance guy who walked into room with shoes and left my bathroom extremely dirty. I asked them to change my room, they did not. There were few hairs around, which is not good. Finally, the bar in the lobby is overrated, extremely expensive for the quality they offer. If you come to this hotel, go eat somewhere else.
The hotel is vintage like, so it is a pretty normal Radisson. It deserves 3 stars because of two things: 1- The water pressure in the bathrooms (in the roomsis awful. You are showering and you do it with temperature inconsistencies and the bath tub fills up with water, which is quite disgusting. On top of that, the bath wall was full of fungi. 2- The service in the Bistro Victoria is the WORST in all Montevideo. I have seen more busy restaurants and bars, and you still have great service. We sat on a table for 15 minutes and the waiters never came, so we decided to just go to the bar and the bartender basically became our waiter. I think the service should improve, pay more att3ntion to the clients in the bistro, it is not that busy. Besides that, the hotel looks beautiful the breakfast was really really good and the check in / check out staff was awesome; also, the location is pretty good.
Amazing hotel. Price is Right. Amenities galore. Comfortable suite and bed. Great pool. good food for breakfast and dinner. Excellent staff. And in a great area. I was here for 2.5 weeks. What a phenomenal experience!!
It is a awesome place, nice hotel, And staff, went for a part Uruguay smile Fest.
Great view! But service was really slow and the buffet is not that great for the price
Great location with good service and beautiful views. A little dated but beautiful craftsmanship!
For a Radisson this hotel is disappointing. Rooms need updating and upgrading. Breakfast choice is limited if you stay more than 2 nights. At times the bread was stale and the standard coffee was just aweful Cleanliness is very poor in the gym changing rooms. However, the location is excellent as are most of the staff and they were genuinely concerned about our grievances. Hopefully they will put measures in place to improve.
This is absolute gem for such a small city, like Montevideo.Location is more, then perfect, staff is fantastic.Rooms are big, clean, shining, stuffed with everything, minibar hasonly soft drinks and beer, but the bar in lobby floor has all, whatyou want. Hotel has pool, gym, casino, with night staff waiting fortired businessman.Just bring the monies and you are in right place, where yo have to be.
Very good hotel! Pool and gym at 6th floor.Internet is good too.Worth coming.
Top notch experience. Concierge lounge was well attended with plenty of local fare. Breakfasts were respectable. Service from the desk could have been better handling the account but they got things swiftly corrected.
the hotel needs a renovation. Also, our room did not have air conditioning during May.
I am here in Uruguay on a business trip. It is Thursday night, and the hotel is allowing a large party to blast music on a lower floor until 1 a.m. The music is literally vibrating my floor. This is completely unacceptable for business travelers who have to perform at their jobs the following day. I wish I could give this hotel zero stars for such horrible judgement. Will never recommend this hotel, wish I had stayed at Sofitel.
Beautiful hotel in the middle of everything, very quite, upscale, and food is delicious.
One of the best hotels I been, for service and rooms.
A very very good hotel.Nice waiting lobby.Good location.Casino inside.Nice restaurant and bar.Beautiful waitresses and staffs.
