As a regular guest at the Radisson Colon 2000 I can say this is the best location in the whole city of Colon. Food service is very good and the one person I consider a key asset of this hotel is without any doubt Ms Sandra Gugu who works as a waitress. Even during peak-demand hours, she makes sure everybody is well taken care for.

MoreWell, i have been staying at the Raddison for three months now while the Dredge works on the Atlantic Entrance. So far the service has been exceptional Jorgelis , first on the restaurant and then on the front desk and Diana at the bar has been excellent. Keep up the good work.
MoreFront desk staff, management, and cleaning staff was horrible. Hotel room was filthy. When I asked for a cleaning person to come up and fix the issue. The person they sent up had an attitude. At check out, the cleaning lady asked if I was going to leave a tip. I said no. By the time I got downstairs to checkout they cleaning lady told the front desk that one of the wash cloths was “dirty” and they charged me for a regularly soiled wash cloth. When talking to the management they act as if they didn’t have the time to be bothered with the situation. Just horrible service.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. From the waiting staff to security to housekeeping & reception- Shenell, Jean & Javier they were all lovely and assisted with all my requests and questions. The massage from the spa was also very good.

As a frequent member with Radisson I was given all the benefits expected. Unfortunately the hotel is old and showing its age hopefully there will be some renovations. I enjoyed the balcony. Service in the restaurant was good. Reception staff was very kind. The suana was not very welcoming and could be fixed up. The pool area was decent. There is a nice cafe in walking distance of the hotel. Make sure you organize your tours or transportation in advance. The city itself is seriously lacking investment by buisness and the government and is not the most turistic experience. I probably wouldnt come back to Colon but if I were to visit again this is probably where I would stay. Make sure to visit the city when the free trade zone is open otherwise theres not really much to do nearby.

MoreThe room #501 is beautiful and the Port view was a relaxing therapy for us. The house keepers and restaurant staff were friendly, courteous and polite. Also Gean, Javier, Shennel, Giuriel and others that work at the front desk made me feel at home away from home and they were very professional. I would recommend anyone to stay at the Radisson #1 and whenever I return to Panama I wish to stay in that same room.

MoreRadisson Colon 2000 was a good place to stay once upon a time but now they are not maintaining it to good stander; the rooms are not vacuumed correctly, the face towel got holes in them the hand towel and towels are shabby like it havent been change for years. At the pool theres no towel, When you walk on the outside to go to the casino its dirty with heavy cobweb on the wall. Its not the same Radisson I once know.

Nice room, great customer services at the front desk, security and the cool staff from the Drake’s restaurant starting from both chefs, Dorgelis, Ashly, Sandra, Elias, Danilo, Faustino and the housekeeping team.My only concern is the luggage services. There is no one to helping with your luggage at the check in and out.

MoreThe place is really low quality hotel. It is not like Radisson all over the world.We’ve arrived to the hotel at 08:50.1st issue- our breakfast was included on the next day. But our stay was up to 18:00 this day. So we had to pay extra 16$ for the breakfast.2nd- the room was not ready and we had to wait 45 minutes. But in real- 1,5 hour.3rd- during the breakfast there was no any toothpicks on the table as well as napkins(( choice for the food is so small((I do not recommend this hotel for stay.

MoreThe Radisson has not responded to my complaint of poor treatment. I called Radisson Worldwide Customer Service on May 30, 2018 and still have not received a response as of June 1, 2018.The treatment I received here was reprehensible. Just before leaving on May 21, I had poured some water on the bed in my room. So, according to their policy, they required me to pay $100 even though I had rented the room for another 16 hours. Nonetheless, I had paid for it. However, the people at the reception desk did not treat me with any manners. No words such as "please" and "thank you". They told me that I have to pay and were extremely rude. Also, when I spoke with the business manager on the phone, he simply told me I had to pay and passed the phone back to the person at the reception.I thought that this is truly not representative of Radisson Hotels. So, when I called the Radisson worldwide customer service number, they stated that Radisson Colon is a franchise and that they can only pass on my complaint. As of now (May 28), I still have not received a response from Radisson Corporate or the hotel in Colon for the complaint that I put in on May 21 (Complaint # 3337593). This is truly disappointing. I would only warn others planning to stay here to be careful, just because the hotel says Radisson does not mean that you will be treated to the same level as other Radisson Hotels throughout the world.Mr. Castro, the general manager, claimed that they spoke with me about my complaint on the treatment. NO ONE HAS CALLED ME. Therefore, I warn others that they treat customers horribly and then cover up their behavior online!!!! Extremely disappointing and not representative of Radisson.
MoreLady on the counter dosent new anything or may be she dint wanted to work we asked for a receipt during the time of checkout she dint wanted to give recpt so she said printer is not working when we forced her to email us as printer is not working she got confused took almost 30 mins on computer to make a recpt n finally she printed a recpt through printer when we asked her that u just said us that printer is not working she immediately replied that she dint said. Finally she gave us the rest of rooms when we asked her where r laundry and beverage recpt again same problem. Finally we asked what’s her name she immediately gone in room removed her batch n come out but I figure her name is lilian she was with a short hair working on 7th oct 2017 morning 3 am shift worst part was she called security on customer when her name was Asked. MoreHotel is usually decent. Third stay here and made the mistake of leaving some cash in my bag (deep and hidden in my bagwhile i was not in the room. Needless to say when i returned in the evening $400.00 was missing. It was my mistake for leaving cash in the room while routine cleaning was done, but the bad vibes now will definitely stop me from staying in this hotel again. Just be careful of your possessions.
MoreYesterday I cycled over 80 kilometersFrom Gamboa to the Radison in Colon. I wanted to stay two nights. Before I entered the hotel I washed my face, because after one day cycling one does not look too clean.I asked for a room and agreed on the price. Since my cash money was stowed away somewhere in my panniers, I asked if you could pay after I had brought my panniers to the room.That was not possible and she looked as if I had asked for her underpants:-)Anyhow, the font desk manager gave me permission to first bring the panniers to the room.I have a very special prototype bike that I am testing for the Dutch brand Koga, so I asked: "And where can I savely park my bike?"She pointed at the front of the building, just a parking lot in front of the hotel that was not secure.I explained that the bike was very special and that they probably have a room somewhere in this large building that is more save than the street?Anyhow, they were not so kind to let me park my bike at a save place. I decided to go to another hotel. It was the Meryland hotel; basic but at least with people with a sincere smile.I have worked for Krasnapolsky hotel in Amsterdam; a five star hotel. We did some research about what is important for customers in a top hotel. Well, that is de friendlieness of the employees.Well Radison in Colon I do not know why you treat customers that way, but probabably you can only deal with large groups? Jus tlike cattle in and out. Easy money?Of are you so prefocused that you think that cyclists do have the money for your hotel?I wonder.
