Had a nice stay at this hotel. Walking distance to most restaurants and right on the river.
Finnish breakfast <3 & pretty nice staff
We discovered this gorgeous location while wandering along the Aurajoki River. Lunch buffe was so delicious that Im still buzzing from it. We were accompanied by our dog, "Minnie." The waitress surprised us by bringing us the "doggy back," which had all of Minnies needs, treats, and more.We are all overjoyed. Thank you very much.
Hotel is nice bit do not pay in Cash. I have paid twice the parking because she didnt fou d the first Bill.
Very nice staff, nice room and view
Not so clean, dust… and also not so luxury how it looks on photos. Aircondition doesnt work so well. Comfy bed, quiet, nice staff.
Nice place to stay with good location
Good hotel and location. Nice staff.
Friendly staff, very accommodating, and delicious food.
Stayed for few days, the room in 7th floor was spacious, with comfortable bed, nice view and the air conditioning made the room pleasant during the heat. Staff was excellent, any and all queries and requests were handled immediately and with friendly manner. Would happily come back.
Superb breakfast, room clean with beautiful view. Overall excellent. Some minor improvement could be made with the room door and window curtain.Door hinge was really dry made terrible noise everytime we open and close it. Same with window curtain, was barely able to close and open it. Otherwise everything was well!
Turku is really nice by summer
Great river view and a good breakfast
Very good hotel next to the Aurajoki river. Walking distance to good restaurants. Room was nice and spacious, with great view to the river. Breakfast was really tasty and with a lot of choices. Electric vehicle charging available at the parking too. 5/5!
Location of the hotel is perfect! Rooms are tidy and cozy, but there could be more lights because of the dark inteor design. The personnel was great.
The staff is very kind, however at least some rooms are in desperate need of an update and some maintenance. Overpriced for what it is.
Very clean hotel with large room with a beautiful view, the employees were very kind and helpful where this could be seen very clearly in the breakfast room with a very well and courteous man who was coming to our table with a joyful smile to offer coffee to our table and ask if everything was ok. I would definitely stay there again.
Clean and nice hotel. Very nice staff and weell equipped rooms. Good investment price wise.
A lovely hotel with a professional crew taking care about the customers. The rooms were not extraordinary but enough for the purposes. Something to highlight is the iron and iron board which is not a regular equipment.
I especially liked the breakfast. If you pay a little bit more you would get a place with a view on the river.
This hotel is optimally located next to Aurajoki. Everything on walking distance but it is a quiet neighbourhood.Rooms are nicely decorated modern ones and service is very good.
I stayed one night in this hotel.Unfortunatly my expectations were higher than reality. The Cleanliness was a big issue ... the hotel needs a lot of reparation to meet the 4 stars standards. However, the staff was friendly at the reception and the breakfast was good.Unfortunatly i do not recommend for Hygiene reasons ... unless if it s not priority number 1 for you.
Nice and roomy hotel room (business room). Separated bedroom and living area. Nice 90s vintage feel but not shabby.
I stayed here during a week on a business trip. Good value for money, very well located near Marina Mall and close to the beach. The studio is good and well equipped, although a bit dated.Staff is very nice and helpful when you need them. They don’t have a breakfast buffet but give you a voucher each morning to have a good breakfast at the restaurant downstairs.I didn’t use it but they also have a nice gym and outdoor pool.
Very friendly staff and good service. Rooms with lake view is a good option if staying here. They also offer free 24h bus tickets to Naantali (old town). This is a nice gesture by the hotel for its guests.
The view makes me wanna have a latte. 🙂Room is nice, the heated floor in the bathroom is luxury. Bed feels firm and I’m sure is really good to 💤.Room is quite quiet. Some thuds and other odd noises from here and there but nothing too bad.
Super Hotel with very friendly and helpful reception staff. Very comfy bed and spacious well equipped room. Stay let down by rude and inattentive restaurant and bar staff, making me dine at Sergios next door.
Absolutely nice and comfy hotel! Staff nice, excellent breakfast where you can order an omelette as you wish to have it. Good breakfast selection and nice and spacious restaurant. Rooms very comfortable. We just loved it!
Your service mindedness will ensure that you are the best place to stay in Turku. You really do the extra with can do attitude.
Grillit, nice atmosphere. Tasty food and professional staff. Bar is little bit "cold" but maybe terrace in summer time with wiev to Aurajoki river will fix that
Service very low. High price hotel. No one help with luggage to the room. Our room was not ok so they changed to an other. Nxt trip we look for a better choice
First of all, great Service, very helpfull. You could use what they can offer you at the hotel itself. Like sauna or 24/7 gym. But the location of hotel is the best part here 👍😎
A brilliant #radisson hotel trapped in an old 1950s building! From the outside it was hard to tell that the staff would be smiling and very helpful, the rooms would be up to a great standard, the bed and lounge area would be spacious, the bathroom full of toiletries. A definite plus is that the breakfast is served 6:30-10:00! A minus that the bar closes at 23:30. Overall a very nice hotel where you will feel very well looked after!
Very nice stay during Paavo Nurmi Marathon. Friendly and helpful staff, awesome breakfast and a big welcome package for the dog made us all happy during our stay.
Very central 4 star hotel with generous rooms, mini bar, large bathroom with roomy bathtub. We got a room on the 4th floor with a nice view onto the river. The breakfast buffet is very extensive with everything from typical Finnish breakfast all the way to American pancakes. Parking is not included and is on the expensive side at €28 a night. The wifi is complimentary but we werent able to sign in. If it had worked we could of tried the cast feature on the rooms TV to watch our own content. Loads of restaurants in the vicinity with a very international selection from Mexican, Asian as well as traditional Finnish establishments.
Right on the river walk has loaner bikes. Desk staff is amazing - so friendly. The soap smells SO GOOD and the bathtub is huge the bed was comfy and the breakfast was delicious. We loved our stay.
3 star for the location. But found the rooms to be really not up to the standards one expects from an hotel like Radisson Blu. The bathing area in the bathroom was not properly guarded the water used to leak and caused the floor to be wet.
Really nice hotel. Clean rooms, nice staff. Interesting decorating. Well equipped rooms (hair dryer, iron), comfortable beds. Radisson "beauty kits" werent in my room which was a pity. Cool and vibrant bar with great espresso martinis. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice.
Bed was great! I loved the fluffy blanket and the soft pillow. When the room was enough chill it was heaven to dip under the warm blanket.Air conditioning was quite loud but it worked well.Breakfast was definitely much better than I expected. Usually big hotels have noisy breakfast rooms with bad ingredients but this was different. Fresh fruits, two porridges and soya yogurts. If I had to choose from e.g. Sokos Hotel Börs or Radisson Blu in Turku, would definitely pick this one again.Location: close to theatre and city centre and next to the river but quiet suuroundings. If possible, ask for a riverside view because the street side view is somewhat drab.#view #sleep
This place is relatively expensive for what it is. I booked the business room and it was a bit worn out with several things not working properly (starting with the dooror badly designed (with the chandelier hanging too close to your head at the dining table). I ordered a steak in the room with a glass of wine and some fruits and I spent more than n euros which I find expensive relative to rest of Turku. More generally I was surprised by service level which was unhelpful or maybe doing only the strict necessary.
Very friendly staff. Our check-in was supposed to be at 3 pm but we got our room at 9 am. The room very clean and the breakfast was good. I would recommend a stay here if you decide to visit Turku for a few days.
Excellent! Trying to find an issue would be difficult. The personnel even appeared to pay attention to my habits: there was more Pepsi in the fridge on the second night because I drank more than there was on the first night. I stayed for a couple of nights, had breakfast in my room (delicious), and went to the sauna. The only thing worth criticizing is their Radisson Blu One Touch app. I tried to order breakfast to my room but it was really confusing and Im a pro when it comes to software. But having failed at that I just picked up the phone and ordered it that way. No biggie. Its merely an alternate way to communicating with the hotel so Im not even decreasing the stars in this review. Just providing some feedback.
Great hotel and friendly staff. Clean. Good standard, and the size of the rooms was comfortable. Food from restaurant was also good. One minus: A bit of noise from the elevators at night (my room was relatively close).
I have never been to a business hotel with a live band concert event until 1am that you can hear throughout the entire hotel as though you were at the concert. This hotels management need to decide if they intend to run a hotel or a night club. Stay away from this hotel on a weekend if you actually intend to get some rest and sleep!
Went for a quick cup of tea with friends. Experience was positive and atmosphere was very nice. It is a kind of open area restaurant/lounge bar, but there are many types of seating from couches to bar chairs. Will go again.
I went there around 0830 for breakfast only on a Sunday morning. Nothing much is open in Turku on a Sunday morning apart from the hotels. Its a short and lovely walk away from town, well worth the time. I paid at the reception and got a voucher. The buffet situated on the second floor. It is very nicely presented and sectioned and theres plenty to choose from. Coffee is served at the table, everything else is self service. Omelets are available with fillings of your choise. The only thing I was missing was a lovely view of the river Aura. The breakfast room windows face the street and a parking lot, but from where I was sitting, there was a glipse of river as well. I seemed to have come at a good time, before it got very busy. There was a nice and calm atmosphere, grown ups, and coffee as much as you can stomach.
Everything is more than good. Very nice breakfast! Great bed, possibility to get your own sauna, clean and well equipped room. So far the only negative I can think of is that we cant completely shut out the light with the curtains.
Very good hotel option at Turku. Good location on a quite quiet part of the city, specially if a river view room is chosen.Nice rooms with nice beds for a good sleep. The breakfast buffet is also good. The hotel gym is small but the machines are in good condition to workout.Hotel staff is nice and friendly.Free wifi is available and connection is quite good and fast.I will probably repeat my stay in this hotel when come back to Turku.
The service here was excellent. People knew what they were doing. Food didnt always taste the best, but it was still good, though it takes quite long for them to prepare the food and if you get seated near the corner tables, its near impossible for you to call any waiters
Good hotel, clean rooms, well equipped and great location in Turku. The breakfast is quite good, though I missed having fresh orange juice. Free internet, works well, but you need to enter the credentials every time you come back to the hotel during the day. Its possible to borrow bikes from the reception for free, though theres a very small number of them.
