Radisson Blu Hotel, Lucerne in Luzern

Outstanding hotel.Very clean - modern - clean rooms - comfortable beds and bedding.Staff at reception check in were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.Fantastic location. Absolutely loved our stay here.Would VERY HIGHLY recommend

Our stay was a Viking river cruises extension and was on a B&B basis. The breakfast offering was adequate, but something of a "come down" from the cruise catering, and this from a 4* hotel.And why do so many restaurant staff that clean tables between guests, fail to wipe the table edges?

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The bedroom and living room were spacious with beautiful views (see photos). The room temperature, the cleanness, the staff, the location and the parking were just perfect. The hotel is right next to the train station, but we heard no noise at all. There was no balcony in the rooms, but the doors overlooking the lake can be opened to breath in fresh air.I would definitely stay there if I visit Luzerne in the future.

Would not recommend this hotel as the reception are too busy to help you.. A room without kettle and waited from 10pm to 12 midnight but still no one attend to us. Called the reception to follow up but they mentioned too busy and hang up on us.. Upgraded to superior room with king/queen size bed but they combine the two single bed together and treat it as one bed.. Overheard one of the customer make a complaint on he waited 3 hours for someone attend to his request :(

The hotel misses the beauty and charm of Lucerne. It is your basic three star American hotel well maintained and clean. Food service is limited to a breakfast buffet which is plentiful, but unremarkable. Bar service is limited and finding a bottle of water difficult. The refrigerator is not stocked in the room. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

I have stayed in the hotel for three nights and i booked two rooms. The first room is supposed to be a premium lake view room and the other one is a standard room and the price was 2836 CHF. I had the worst experience ever. Firstly i booked a room with a lake view and it was really expensive and i thought it would be worthy, however it wasn’t worth it at all. The room was not the same as the pictures and there was no lake view because of the trees. Both rooms were not clean i would give the cleanliness 3 out of 10. At the checkout the reception were going to make us pay double the price and when i tell her why she said that is the price with the taxes and when i show here the price from booking and argued here she told as she will double check with the boss, and when she checked she told us that there is a problem in the system, but i don’t think so because there was another family going in the same argument. Also, the staff were not flexible at all and also the hotel when i asked to change the room because i paid for a room with a lake view they didn’t let me change and said that is the only available room and didn’t give back my money. One more thing that the price is too expensive for a four stars hotel and it score is too low and it not worth the price at all. There is too many things to be improved in this hotel. I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone.

Awesome hotel! Most importantly, its very clean! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a great variety, and they even offer loose leaf tea as an option. The location is perfect... about a 7 minute walk to the train station and piers. Old Town city center is about a 9 minute walk. It was quite... I couldnt hear traffic or the trains. The lobby is a great place to socialize with cool retro furniture. Such an amazing city and this hotel is a great home base while you visit! The lake is just steps outside of the hotel restaurant where you can relax on benches and watch swans and ducks while looking at the snow capped Alps.

Clean establishment. Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable staff. Easily seen from major streets. Rooms are clean and well stocked. Walking distance from some points of interest or you can take a short cab ride to points of interest. Would definitely book another stay here if I was to travel here again.

First time in Switzerland and Lucerne. Great location. Very nice room with a view of the lake. The morning buffet was very good. I could walk everywhere, and being so close to the train made getting to and from Zurich a breeze! Very nice staff--made me feel at home. Thanks to everyone there! Ill be back.
