MoreSweat view after sunset
Out of the ordinary, must visit and try the echoe inside the dome.
Good area to bring your kids, where it safe for them to play around, ride their bikes, while you enjoy your coffee from the shops nearby
MoreUnfortunately This tourist attraction is closed due to poor officials
A wonderful place to visit
Super fascinating, like a mix between Star Trek and a Roman ruin.
A great garden/ sanctuary with unfinished buildings inspired by brutal architecture .Hope access can be made easier with clear guidelines
MoreSuper interesting, but very haunting and dangerous place. Watch out for holes, metal wires, broken stairs etc.
MoreThis place is so cool.It will be amazing to see if it’s salvaged in the future.Lots of locals are using it for a place to exercise, Biking and walking. If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth an hour or two just to explore!
MoreMaarad aka Rachid Karami International FairDuring his exile years, the famous modernist Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer got one commission from the Middle East: he designed 15 structures spread out on a 10 000 hectare site in Tripoli. These include an Exhibition Center, a Space Museum, a Dome referred to by Tripolitan children as ‘space ship’ in Arabic, a huge Arch, an Open Air stage…
Morethis place can be a wonderfull place . but it is not . because of local authorities
MoreIt was awful, we went biking and i got robbed they broke into my car and took my personal stuff. I dont recommend anyone to go there anymore since there have been many similar acts.
MoreNice activities for kids, bicycles plus coffee shops for their parents
Out of this world. International standards and beyond, if only an upkeep and maintenance budget were approved. Still, a highly recommended visit for all those who pass by Tripoli.
MoreCalm, clean and beautiful place to walk, jog or just wander between the awesome peices of neymar architects
MoreOne of the most fascinating spaces you could visit. And the best way to discover it is with Miras Guided Tours 🦋
MoreOne of my favorite places in Lebanon!A must see for the local and people coming from abroad! You have to take care in some places inside! If the garden didn’t let you enter tell him it s your last day in Lebanon and he will definitely change his mind haha
MoreWasnt able to enter inside, it seems doors locked up everything. It seems there was some nice buildings inside but couldnt get in it. Looks like to be an abandoned park or only used when big activities or fair happening in the city...
MoreThe biggest park in Tripoli. Very beautiful. Too bad they didnt finish all construction and left it like this.
MoreWho knew we had riveting like that in Lebanon!!! A lovely park with several exhibition and conference areas each with unique creative designs. Unfortunately not well maintained but still a gem of a place
MoreDesigned by the famous brazilian architect Nemiyar. Beautiful architectural structures and landscape. A place worth to visit!
MoreOld but gold. You can bond in his gardens full of flowers. Rent a bicycle. Many activities will be held there. Books expos. Festivals. Singers coming from whole Arabic world. Children festivals. The location is so awesome. Near to the old city . New city and AL Mina sea Port. Pls dont hesitate to visit our lovely Tripoli city
MoreAlthough it is wasn’t cheap since u r going to pay for some games such as cars and activities separately but it was very fun for the children
MoreIts a nice open space to walk with beautiful flowers and greenery. I just wish they could find ways to make use of the area more to encourage more people in the city to visit
Morethis is one of the five biggest fairs in the world. it has been built just before the lebanese war started and was never finished. however one could still see the amazing vision of the architect Oscar Niemeyer..and the amazing architecture he built on this site. you can easily spend 3 hours here visiting and exploring and taking amazing pics. it has also amazing gardens.
MoreOne of the mist suitable places for sports and gathering
It is Tripolis biggest exposition place. It has two huge areas for exhibitions and other events. It has one of the biggest garden in Tripoli. Brilliant for promenade! This building was architeched by the famous Brazilian Oscar Nimier.
MoreOld architecture of Niemeyer.Vast space for walking, jogging, cycling, or just chilling. Has a zone for festivals, books fairs and other events.Needs rehabilitation
MoreAny Architecture lover should visit this beautiful example of Oscar Niemeyers style and approach to public spaces. This space deserves to be fully restored and enjoyed by the people of Tripoli as it was intended ( so no private projects please!). The domed lecture theatre is easily my favourite and has amazing acoustics even in its current shell form. This is Niemeyer on a human scale, contrary to the insanity of Brasilia. One hopes UNESCO and the Lebanese government make work of this. The greenery is already lovely by the way.
MoreI love it, the most amazing and futuristic architecture, unfortunately it is abandoned like forever, but i still adore it and find it the greatest touristic checkpoint (pet friendly)
MoreFree entry, apparently local people who are not rich are not allowed to enter, a man will stop you at the entry and ask you if you have a big camera, he might say that taking pictures with your mobile phone is ok but not with a camera. Very strange conversation. This is apparently to stop locals (poorto go inside this beautiful big space. There is a very well kept garden, big trees and not that much plastic or garbage on the floor. As far as I know there are no public toilets inside, you should watch your step and be careful because this place was not finished, it stopped being built in 1975 when the Lebanese civil war started and the buildings have not yet being (until nowrepaired or taken care of in anyway, so be careful. You will find rich people walking their dogs and just walking fast or jogging. It is a very calm space, with no cars, no noises and very close to the city center.
MoreSuch an amazing place but unfortunately its not fininshed yet since ages or in real need of renovation. It has great potentials to be tourist attraction plus all the services that can provide.
MoreBest place to take architectural photos !!!
Oscar niemeyer best piece of art
A forgotten masterpiece of the legendary Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer started in the 1960’s and unfinished due to the countrys civil war in 1975. A beautiful time winding machine into Lebanon’s glorious years. You should visit if you are in town.
MoreWell this place is a huge master piece , it needs some repair but absolutely you must visit it . Rashid Karameh fair ground is a very relaxing place , some times in special events it becomes pretty much a fun place some .
MoreIt is a beautiful space but the maintenance is URGENTLY needed some buildings are gone a fall in I few months the municipality should consider investing in the place or we all gona lose a part of our architecture culture
MoreWhen in Tripoli, you must visit this popular place.
An experience of good unfinished architecture by Oscar Neymar and wide open landscape with lush vegetation. I had a blast!
MoreThis Exhibition center needs renovation.Location is great in addition to the parking availability. But renovation is needed badly for this place
MoreVery nice architecture. However, it needs some rehabilitation and much more maintenance. It needs to be given more attention and to create more events to be held within its perimeter.
MoreIts a nice place to go to with family and friends but you need to sign in and it might cost 3000L.L and you might need to get your is card too
MoreVery nice area , but needs a real attention from the local municipality and government ,Many interesting projects can be done on this place ,
MoreThia place is a landmark in Tripoli, a very large land containing one big expo building as well as many architectural buildings, like the dome, the floating stadium and many others. This place has a lot of green areas and is very good for walking and meditation.
MoreBeautiful. Hope some day IT will be finished.
Amazing place for architecture lovers
Need permission from the government. Easier to go with Miras Guided Tours (find her on facebookthan to arrange it alone. Looks just like the capital of Brasil since it was designed by the same architect.
MoreA neglected marvel at the heart of tripoli. This place has a lot of potential if it gets taken care of. Right now its a nice place for a walk (when theyre actually open), with occasional interesting events going on. The construction needs a lot of maintenance and it would be great! The green areas are taken care off somewhat well.
MoreThe amazing unfinished work of Oscar Niemeyer, it was stopped due to the civil war in Lebanon in 1975.Although its not done but it hosts most of Tripolis big events such as bikathons, marathons, concerts and book fair.Mainly used daily by pedestrians because its a calm place that offers tranquility.
