Rabat Beach in Dakhla

Got sick after swimming here. Polluted and trashed

Nice and soft sand on the beach but unfortunately there were some plastic and rubbish at the edges and on the pathways and beach. If only it was cleaner it would be even nicer but otherwise it is in a good location and has potential to be better. An area to keep dog free would be good so more people can sit down peacefully, we saw dogs chasing footballs and harassing other guests. Rented chairs (that are cheap to hirecan be improved from the small plastic basic chairs too as it was hurting my back. The workers were friendly though.

Good local beach, I think mainly people who are local to Rabat come here. To rent a parasol was 20MAD for the day, And there are also a few sellers wandering the beach every now and then with peanuts and Moroccan Donuts. Also at a very good price. They arent pushy at all, so if you dont need anything they will just keep going past.The edges could use some cleaning though as there was rubbish paying around the pathway.Apart from that, good spot the relax.

The surroundings of the beach is quite dirty and there is some construction ongoing but the beach itself looks fine and there are a lot of local playing football, running or relaxing. We didn’t find any showers.

Gorgeous beach by the Atlantic. Small site to swim but worth a walk.

A must visit if you are in Rabat. The best time to go would be late evening just before the sunset. The weather is great, nice breeze from the ocean, its calm place to sit and the view of the lighthouse and the sunsetting behind it, well thats just absolutely stunning. Highly recommend you come here during sunset! And after we took a stroll into the bustling Medina night life. A great day and will be back again soon. 😊😊😊🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦... If you are into photography 📸 you will not be disappointed 👌

Wonderful site visited by thousands of tourists every month. You can surf, swim and strawll along the beach and have good time with your mate and children.

A bit weird that the beach is surrounded by cemeteries, other than that its a ok sandy beach

Super beach. Having a coffee in the sunshine when someone drowned. They brought the limp body up to the cafe. Memorable for all the wrong reasons.

People should care more about this beach and be able to make as clean as it should be

A nice beach with life guards. Small and apparently crowded in summer it is clean and protected from the dangerous waves and currents thanks to jetties that serve as wave breakers and separation from the entrance to the river Bouregreg.

It wasnt that bad.but its better to go early during summer cause it get very crowded and dirty.

Beautiful calm beach for a walk or to just to watch the sunset .

Its only a small area of sandy beach but many coves and rocky outcrops, undergoing some renovations/improvements is some areas, should be great when completed.

Small, but ok beach. Protected from the open ocean and because it is located in the river mouth, water is not very salty. No shade, no facilities whatsover, no place to change. But the beach is wide, no garbage laying around.

Beach is not bad it just needs more attention from local authorities

Turbulent Atlantic is see inspiring to behold. Decent rock hounding in certain areas.

Its good to see this, nice and breeze in there, but the beach itself is quite untdy (even abandoned, one could say), but I hope its because its off-season. They are doing some renovations right now, so hopefully it will be nicer soon :The cafe shops nearby look a bit old and not like it is a capital of the country... Nonetheless, worth going if you like seeing ocean from a close distance (and its close to Kasbah:)

This beach has many nice elements. The sand is nice, the gentle slope of the beach makes wading in the water a friendly experience. Swimming at this beach is nice.I have to say though that one of the down sides is all the garbage that is discarded onto the beach. It’s quite shameful actually. The culture here is very comfortable just dropping garbage on the ground and one of the worst places to see this is the beach. The low tide allows garbage to be dropped onto the sand. The tide comes in and washed the candy wrappers and plastic bottles into the water. It really is shameful.

The beach is located close to the centre of Rabat and really popular amoung the locals.It is really crowded, dirty and full with trash. We did not even try to go to the water as trash was on the top as well.There are very few facilities nearby, would not recommend.

The cleanliness of some parts of the beach and of the water in general is questionable in my opinion. However this was a positive experience for me. Walking on the beach in the water during the day or evening is great. People seemed to gather on the beach in the evening.

Sun, sand and surfing. Beach party atmosphere in the evenings. Lifeguards to assist when the waves toss you around like a washing machine. The water is surprisingly cold.

Place to relax under the sun and nice place for a swim.
