Chicken sandwich not great at all. I literally waisted $20. It was a dry and soggy mess. I can literally taste the grease. It got two stars because the fries were ok. Not great but ok. I do not recommend this place

Too greasy and oily. The spice level didnt even make sense. Heater was less hot than the other burgers. The staff is nice and polite.

This place is so good and the people that work there are awesome. My friend and I had the Wok, they made mine a little spicier which I enjoyed. We also had the fries and fried brussel sprouts which were delicious. Well definitely be back!

Best new hot chicken place blows Dave’s hot chicken out of the chickens coop. Had the wok and cannot recommend it enough.

Felt mostly like a hot chicken spot masquerading as a sandwich shop. Yes, your sandwich can come grilled, but thats not why people come here. Everything is served a la carte. Got the nitro fried (essentially the Buffalo chicken sandwich). I was disappointed they couldnt be bothered to actually toss the chicken in the sauce, but instead just squirted a lot of sauce on top mostly ruining the flavor of the slaw that was stacked on top. They toss the tenders to make them "spicy". So I dont see the issue. The chicken isnt bad; It isnt remarkable either. Though, this place kind of shines when you get to the sides. Everything could stand to be about a dollar cheaper but the tenders are a better deal than the sandwiches. Indoor seating is minimal. There is some outdoor seating but if were talking a summer afternoon it is best just to get it to go. Parking can be less than ideal most hours of the day

This place won me over when I first tried the western. Hands down its one of the top 3 chicken sandwiches I ever had.The staff is amazing and always super friendly the kitchen super clean and that to me says a lot of things about a place.The only reason I am putting 4 stars instead of 5 its because I cant pay 17.5 bucks every time I crave for this delicious chicken sandwich. Thats the total if you want to add fries in your order. But real talk who does not want fries when they are eating this type of food??So price wise its like they are making me go somewhere else. Dont get me wrong price meets quality I get that but you cant sell chicken sandwiches without having the option of the combo it does not make sense. Instead its 12 $ for the sandwich and if you want to order fries they cost 4.5 thats just too much money. Start making some kind of deals guys I want to support this amazing food and place.But right now the menu its just ovepriced. And I am not talking about the chicken sandwiches. How is that ppossible I dont know.

I was in the neighborhood so I tried The Wok and it was amazing! I’m definitely coming back next time I want a gourmet chicken sandwich!

WOW. I am blown away by this place! I truly hope people consider trying this place when faced with other chicken sandwiches places at their disposal. This restaurant really knows what they’re doing!First off, the customer service was fantastic! We were greeted, given an explanation of the menu, and the staff suggestions. We ultimately went with the Fried Nitro Bird sandwich and Spicy Tenders with honey mustard, ranch, and Habanero Buffalo sauces on the side (but we struggled making a decision, they all sounded so good). The Fried Nitro Bird sandwich was PHENOMENAL. It was so tasty without the heat overpowering the flavors. Some places you go are all about heat, and you don’t truly taste the flavors and spices that are thought out for the food. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! The flavors tied in so well together and we didn’t dip the sandwich in any extra sauce once! The tenders were so moist and tender, not a single ounce of dryness to taste. They were so nice to give us a side of the sweet chili sauce to try (their signature sauce, I believe?and it was delightful. The habanero Buffalo was our second favorite. It wasn’t too spicy, but definitely flavorful.Highly recommend this place to all!

Awesome awesome awesome! Had spicy tenders and the Nitro sandwich. The sandwich needed nothing! Crispy chicken, fabulous sauce, perfectly complementing slaw and soft bun. The tenders were crispy and light on the outside and extra soft inside. I wish I could cook like this! Love how light the chicken seems, I could keep eating and not feel oily!

Service was great. The people working there were super nice and professional. The inside of the place was clean and well kept.Food was just as good. I got the Wok, which had like a sriracha and honey glaze which was really good. The chicken was crispy/juicy, and somehow felt a lot less greasy than most places I’ve tried. I got the Kale Taboulli as a side, which was lowkey almost as good as the stuff my mom makes. Really, really impressed with this place, definitely try it if you’re in the area.

We are staying in Glendale for a couple of nights and found this place on Google. The good is amazing! The restaurant is clean and inviting with shade patio seating. Dont miss the lemonade and hibiscus tea. Five stars

I don’t understand the sign “gourmet chicken” there’s nothing gourmet about any of this. Fried chicken is ok. It taste like homemade by an 8 yr old kid. Fries is soggy. I mean, cmon?!!

If youre looking for a REAL chicken sandwich, this is your spot. The dude who took our order was super friendly and warned me The Heater was hott but I still went for it and he was not lying. But it was the good heat! The chicken was the crunchiest Ive had in my life(and I grew up in the south). Do yourself a favor and skip poppys and go straight to ROCKBIRD!

The chicken sandwhich was deeeeeeeeelicious but Rockbird gets 3 stars because the ketchup + frie game is a little weak. There are no ramekins so I cant dunk my fries and with little realestate to work with im left with creating a mess. Ontop of that the fries were served lukewarm and cold soon after. For 4.50 which is almost as much as a gallon of gas they should be hot🔥 🔥🔥I would not agree with google that Rockbirds is 1 " $ " but I will go back here again if just for the sandwhiches. 😎🤙🏻

Fried Nitro Bird Sandwich with Mac & cheese, 3 strips with Chipotle & Garlic aoli & Cheese fries & Dr pepper to wash it all down. The burger was so delicious! They have a nice chunky piece of meat, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Good flavor with the sauce and other stuff they add inside. Mac and cheese was cooked well and had good texture just wish it was a little bit more salty. The strips were delicious too, cook really nice crispy on the outside juicy inside and the chipotle sauce was really good. The garlic aioli was okay, not a huge fan. I wasnt able to eat there but I know if I did it would have tasted that much better because it was cold by the time I got to eat it. Cute little place in a small Plaza with some parking, you can also park on the street. They do have some seating available outside

10/10 best chicken sandwich in the area. Don’t miss out at least try it once

One of the very best chicken tenders Ive ever had! Their tenders are battered and fried like fried chicken on the bone and their honey mustard is perfect 50/50 mixture of mustard and honey. Excited to go back.

What a hidden gem in Glendale! Rockbird is snuggled in a small plaza not too far from the Americana with limited lot parking, but plenty of street parking. The interior has a few seats is very clean, but theyve also set up plenty of outdoor seating on the sidewalk.I came here with my girlfriend and got the fried honey bird sandwich with fries while she got the fried wok sandwich with Brussels sprouts. While the sandwich is definitely on the pricier side, its definitely worth it, considering how large and delicious the sandwich is. The wok sandwich was seasoned perfectly, but I wish the honey sandwich came with more sauce since it was a little bland. The Brussels sprouts were roasted to perfection and the fries had a unique seasoning that tasted so familiar, but I couldnt pinpoint.Overall, we really enjoyed our food and hopefully well be back again soon!

This may be the best chicken sandwich in Los Angeles. All the sides are great as well, especially the Brussels sprouts and the tasty French fries. Love the WokBird.

Amazing food. Chicken sandwich was freshly grilled with quality chicken breast. The tenders were huge and not frozen and breaded like usual. They tasted like boneless fried chicken. Both came with a side. The Mac and cheese was home made and creamy. Large portions for $. Nice outdoor seating.

It was alright. The promo photos are better than the real deal. There are a lot of people in the chicken sandwich game. Their Kale Tabbouleh salad was killer, thats for sure.

Tasty chicken sandwiches, nice and crispy fries and a friendly staff. Worth a visit. I had "The Heater" which is their version of a Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was good. Not particularly spicy, so if youre looking for a Howlin Rays type experience this isnt the place. But theyve got HRs beat in the number of other flavors on offer so theres that. The parking lot is fairly treacherous to navigate so Id recommend parking on either Chevy Chase or Colorado and just hoofing it an extra 20ft.

TASTY! Impressed with fried chicken texture. Super welcoming staff. Pricing is what youd expect for freshly prepared food. Parking is terrible, like 9 spots for a strip mall. So prepare for that. Dont judge by its decor - best for quick bite.

Very delicious! The sandwich was perfectly spicy, crispy, and tender, topped with creamy coleslaw and a special sauce. I cant wait to come back and try all of the others! And dont even get me started on the fries :)

Ordered pickup and when I went in I got some rough customer service. Since the bag was stapled I trusted that everything was in there. Sadly when I got home there all the sauces I chose for the tenders were missing. The saving grace was that the food was pretty close to excellent especially all the sides! Yes on the brussels and potatos. I’ve been meaning to try this place once since it’s in my neighborhood for awhile and I’m glad that I did!

Came here to get a meal for my autistic son-in-law. They were so warm and accepting. The kid loved the Honey chicken sandwich with fries and the lemonade. Devoured it. Cashier was an amazing dude and helped with everything. Very kind and thoughtful.Highly recommended..

My wife is a vegetarian and I think she would be happy to eat here. The sides and salad selection is great! I got The chicken sandwich because I am not a vegetarian! It was awesome and its not often one sandwich fills me up! The ample fries were some of the best I have had. I am not a huge chicken fan but this place makes a good sandwich. I will be going back for the chicken 🐓.

Best chicken sandwiches around hands down. Not only are they huge but the flavors are amazing with every ingredient they use. Popeyes doesnt have anything on this place. Definitely will be adding this restaurant to our monthly diet.

Try the hibiscus tea! So good! I should have taken a picture of our food beforehand, but it disappeared! The chicken is juicy, the buns are delicious. The fries are coated in an awesome seasoning. Staff is kind, outdoor seating is available. Give them a try!

We were in the area and decided to try it. I love chicken sandwiches. I just like em, and will order them over a burger every time. This was hands down, the very best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I believe I wept very soon after my first bite. The bun, coleslaw, hand breaded chicken breast, and above all, the pickle slices, make up a flavor combination, that Zeus himself would dream about. It was the perfect blend of, buttery soft, crispy crunch, juicy chicken, saucy coleslaw, sweet tangy honey mustard, all tied together with the big green bow of the perfect pickle. I shall return, for sure, for this glorious mouth greatness, as soon as I can. Don’t forget your bib.

First time I ordered from this place was via postmates. The experience was different when I dined in.When I had it delivered, the food was still great but the experience was not as good when I dining in. When you dine in, you get to see how clean the place is because of proper lighting and the tables have those hangers where you can place your bags in. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the cashier and was very helpful in educating me what they best sellers were.I went with the one in the picture (I forgot the name, but it had honey mustard in itand a fries and soda combo. I chose the unique soda rootbeer they had and it was tasty. And the fries chico, they never lie. Look at the serving they have! Thats good for 3 people.Nevertheless, I had an awesome experience and it made me wonder why theyre not as popular as popeyes sandwich chicken or chick-fil-a

Fast service, great filling food. The Nitro chicken sandwich was spicy and the side of Mac was cheesy. The Hibiscus tea + lemonade went perfect with my lunch. A few tables indoors, but plenty outdoor seating.

Rockbird totally lived up to the hype! The chicken was crispy and juicy. Every bite was absolute perfection. The hard part is trying to decide what sandwich to get with what side. I settled for the honey mustard sandwich and it did not disappoint. The side of mac and cheese was incredible.Will definitely be back.

Creative and Delicious!!Grilled Cornish Game Hans, so juicy and tender. Order two pieces without knowing it is two half bird, absolutely stuffed myself during lunch. The bird is the start however the side dishes are equally delicious. Refresh Cali-slaw got my two thumbs up.

Tasty Cornish hens in sandwich or plate with great sides. Hens are seasoned well and cooked perfectly not too dry. 1 piece or a sandwich is great for lunch. The sandwich choices are excellent too. Get 2 hens when hungry. Try the Mac! Superb service too. Little small on the inside.

Well seasoned Cornish hen are the heart of the menu at this fast casual style spot launched by the guys who brought us the always busy and teaming with families Lebanese spot Skaffs. Clearly, they are after a younger, hipper, far less kids-in-tow crowd here. Backless seats are all you find here so mom and dad are not gonna dig it. But thats aside from the main attraction here: the birds. The hen comes halved, and its tasty and moist. The sandwiches eat fairly heavy but are undeniably delicious. The sides are classic American and some essy middle eastern turns that go well to balance the salt and fat in the bird. Overall its a nice option in an area thats otherwise overrun with kabob joints.

Fantastic place! I love Skaf’s Lebanese Cuisine and the same owners have opened Rockbird.The grilled chicken is juicy and delicious.Simple idea but very yummy.The sides are all fantastic. Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes are out of this world.

Great concept. Simple, delicious chicken. Actually, Cornish hens. The chicken is on the sandwiches. The hens were cooked perfectly. They were moist and delicious. The chicken sandwich was tasty with a spicy chili sauce and cole slaw. For sides we had the Mac and cheese, which was as I expected. Tasty and cheesy. The highlight was the brussel sprouts. They were very good. They had a slight citrus flavor and the combination with the red onions was great. We will definitely be back.

Delicious grilled chicken. Its seasoned well and served juicy. For two people youd probably want a whole bird which comes with 2 sides, and a junior order of one more side. The garlic potatoes and cauliflower were both favorites.
