R.E.A.D CAFE ( Relax Eat And Drink ) in Muar

Good environment. Prices reasonable.

I give them 2 star bcoz the ambience and presentation was really nice and cosy and their waiter/waitresses was friendly but sadly the food there was disappointing. My husband ordered half boiled egg and they serve sweet soy sauce instead of the usual soy sauce. The salad was kinda sad, bcoz it only had corn and a few other veges.We ordered 2 plates of pasta carbonara but somehow one didnt taste so good bcoz it had too much pepper and herbs that overpowered the whole dish. The mix combo of chicken and fish that my husband and i shared was also disappointing bcoz the sauce was to sweet and coleslaw are meant to be served cold, they put it in the sizzling pan and it ended being warm.The coffee we ordered was also bad, bcoz it was bitter. A good coffee bean wouldnt taste that way. Overall its not worth the money, their price range is the same as in KL.

The deco from a far will deceive you thinking the food maybe good but its horrible. They dont have soy sauce for your half boil eggs instead theyll serve it with sweet sauce. Who eats with sweet sauce? Salad is basically bunch of corn with some not so generous serving of lettuce and smothered with thousand island. Their food hasnt any balance of taste, its either overpowering or badly seasoned. And the waiters or manager, they cant take any form of advise from customers. You should have seen their faces when you mention to them your frustrations. No customer friendliness, no, ok, I will note your comments, just a weird look and stare. Oh dont bother about coffee, theres no barista, its an Aristo pod coffee, taste super horrible. Taste like boiled car tyres, with some milk. Sorry to have you read this but you get what Im saying, and I wont say such things about a place if it didnt ticked me off.

DO NOT COME HERE. THIS PLACE SHOULD CLOSE DOWN. Latte was rubbish, dont even try. Salad lacked creativity and taste, just dumped a lot of corn on it. Spaghetti sauce was sweet, incorrect taste. Half boiled eggs doesnt have light soy sauce, only thick soy sauce, no one wants with that! Even their kitchen doesnt have light soya sauce which is unacceptable, how do they cook? No wonder everything tastes funny at this restaurant. No other family should suffer, please do not come here...! I think no way this place is going to survive if the food continues like this. As my late mother would say at rubbish restaurants, "The food is like their face", and exactly so for this restaurant. If possible I dont want to give 1 star also. Remember customers arent coming to eat the deco.

1 star - for chicken chop.Thats all I can give.Rest of food and drinks. Really really disappointing. Cold soggy fries and worseIce blended... Coarsely done. When I left. The jug still half filled chunks of iceNot to mention the "signature "Ice kacang. Its 6.90 for an evaporated milk stirred in chunky ice with few green n red stuff swimming in it.Yumms... Give a try. Ull know wat I mean. Go try urself if u r curious . But Please spare ur parents and ur Friends. Oh yah. Please keep your mind open for any options. Cus gotta see what they have left in their fridge . Had to change order again n again.cus no more. Strange. I went there early lunch hour n its a weekend. Only 3 customer. I guess the size of the Menu is bigger than their fridge.after lunch dare not order any cakes. Cus only have 3 pc cake inside. Wonder since when?

The foods quite good. I like the buttermilk chicken rice. Atmosphere is okay. Friendly staff. Would I come again? YES.

The most disgusting spaghetti I ever tasted in my life, and it took about 20 min waiting time while only 3 tables customers that time.

Place is comfy and good for meet ups. The overall environment is calm and chill.For smokers there are tables outside.Food and drinks are quite expensive. Wifi available. (And fast too[100mbps]. The specialty of this place is the drinks. (Coffee, tea, fruity bevrages). Multiple options to choose from.

Slow service, very pricey, small portions, and meat ball is cold inside. Not worth the money at all. First and last time visit.

I ordered Hazelnut cappuccino cold and green tea latte cold. Both are a bit tasteless. Green Belgian waffle and spaghetti is so-so.

Had their classics Belgian waffle. Fragrant and good. May be a bit too sweet for some. But suits my sweet tooth just fine! Nice Xmas music and deco.

The food was ok...lamb chop was thin and was given bone portion. ..but the price was too expensive for the food that you get...good place to chill out with beer but wont go for the foodService was good...need improvement on food
