Gateway to Vigan. Nkce view but not ideal to stop if theres a volume of vehicles. Theres another bridge across than can be used for nicer photo op

Typical bridge connecting towns <3 When we did a tour in Abra- Vigan, they stopped us here and of course, we should take a photo. The river was that brown because there was a typhoon 2 days before we went there.We should take a photo while there were no cars to pass by :D haha

Im always in awe staring at this majestic bridge. Its engineering & architectural design is spectacular. The scenic view that surrounds this bridge is magnificent.It connects 2 transcending mountains & below is the Abra river. As far as I can remember this bridge is about 5 decades now. We use to call it Banaoang bridge when I was a kid and it was build on the time of Pres. elpidio Quirino.You will love strolling there at night & stargazing while drinking a bottle of beer & listening to. your favorite music.

This historical bridge has quite a connection with the Philippine cinema as it has been featured in some of Fernando Poe Jrs films. Today this bridge is not used by vehicles anymore as a newer bridge is build several meters aeay from it. Regardless, a lot of visitors visit the bridge for souvenir photos.

Nice arch and metal bridge connecting the mountain slopes of Bantay and Santa, Ilocos Sur. It now serves as an alternate bridge so not a lot of vehicles pass this way. Local tourists like us have a lot of time to take that selfie and souvenir pics! Great view of Abra River and the surrounding landscape.
