Quero Arepa in Cartagena

The arepas are superb. My date had the pabellon lunch; the beef was so so well seasoned. And the mixta salad is also divine. Dont underestimate this little spot in old city.

The arepas were delicious! Nice little causal place that was very affordable.

Vegan options upon request, but delicious and with great prices. Fast and friendly service.

Overall, pretty good little place for arepas. It’s nothing special but it’s reliably solid. I don’t like that they impose a 30,000 minimum for credit cards.

Best arepas weve had in Colombia. Even though we were full we ordered more just to be able to try another one...the shrimp arepa and the mixed meat arepas were our favorites- cant understand why there isnt one of these places on every corner of every street-fantastic food without the pretense or cost of a lot of places in a tourist town like Cartagena.

Absolutely loved it, it is quaint, clean, quick and delicious! Found it on Google just looking for something close to our bnb and we are breakfast here for the rest of our stay..

Amazing arepas. They have late hours too which was amazing. Wanted to go here during the day and missed the chance, but after a night of going Out, came back late and this was still open. Food was amazing

A great place to eat. Reliably good. The arepas are the way to go. Large portions and fairly priced. The man I think is the owner is very nice. Open 24 hours. I would have given it 5 stars, but the non arepa dish I had was just ok.

I ordered the Pabellon and it was excellent. Excellent beef sauce and fried plantains make this a wonderful dish. Would eat here again!

Delicious arepas at a good price. It’s a chill spot, so perfect for a quick lunch. I liked that they had reggaeton and Latin pop music playing. It’s also located in a beautiful yet more quiet area of Cartagena.

Very good cheap arepas - best Ive had in Cartegena! Had the beef one, along with the falafel with eggplant dip appetizer and mango smoothie. Beautiful murals of under the sea creatures on the walls.

45 minutes waiting for 2 Arepas? They literally take 5 minutes to make. And there were only 4 other people in the restaurant. I dont even care how they taste, the wait is unacceptable.

The arepas are excellent, but the patacónes are absolutely out of this world. I highly recommend the Vicente Fernandez. Tasty fruit juices, and if one is in the mood for something alcoholic, the Pasión Quero es incredible

This is a small little restaurant. Make you feel like home. The owner is also there and always have a smile to welcome the customers. I go mostly for my coffee con leche !

Good food and for what you pay you definitely couldnt ask for any more. Beer and a good size meal for less than £5, only issue was it took a while to come but beyond that I definitely recommend

Sorry, I personally did not like this arepa. It was deep fried, fatty and hard, the meat inside was tough and chewy. I left most of it.

We had some arepa with cheese, ham, pineapple and extra guacamole. It was delicious but it could have been a bit more😅

Pretty tasty arepas but we had to wait 45 minutes to get them. They should also get rid of the digital menu and just get a regular one. Wifi didn’t work so it took 20 minutes to order as well.

Arepa con carne y queso was good. Not too expensive. With a coke, it came out to 16 000 COP and the waitress was kind enough to ask whether i wanted to add a gratuity instead of doing it automatically.

The perfect restaurant to close out the night in Cartagena. Their dishes are more Venezuelan influence, but that makes for some amazing arepas and other corn based options. I tried the corn, chicken, and cheese, thinking it would be a smaller entree, but it was huge. Of course my sweet tooth wanted a sweet plantain side, which came with about 5 strips of plantains... needless to say, i was stuffed.Will definitely be back on future trips to cartagena. It is the perfect spot for a late night snack!

Really good food. This is the noodles with shrimp and basil. Has a little spice to it. Really tasty.

Very large menu with lots of types of arepas and patacones, including many vegetarian options. The arepas are all overstuffed with ingredients and cheese spilling out.

Delicious food, the reina pepiada arepa was so tasty, we ask for some cortaditos and they didnt have it on by the menu but made them for us, highly recommended

Incredible food, large portions, and reasonable prices! The fillings are so flavorful and every arepa is so delicious. We even came back a second time! Also the limonada con coco (not picturedwas probably the best drink I had in Cartagena.

My fiance and I had delicious arepas last week. Service was friendly and patient (our Spanish is mediocre & we dont practice enoughand the price for our delicious meal cant be beat. I had the cheese and he had chicken with avocado and some other fillings.

The food was great and the servers are very attentive. I had the Arepa Pobellion. So Good!!! Every bite was delicious. Definitely coming back.

Amazing arepas! Had the traditional Venezuelan arepa with chicken and avocado. Also the Limonade de coco was the best we have had! Good prices too in a quiet area.

This burger was just wowww! I know it’s an Arepa spot but we were in the mood for something different and the waitress suggested a burger. It did not disappoint! It was so good, that we ended up ordering it another night through takeout app.

An upscale arepa restaurant. I had the arepa con queso and the Rita Marley which had pineapple and ham. I loved the Rita, but I wished the queso was melted. Also the waitress spoke English.

Arepas are their specialty and for good reason, they’re delicious!!! I had the patacones and regretted not ordering arepas instead after trying my boyfriend’s arepa.

The arepa was obviously microwaved as it became chewy after sometime and the chicken was overflowing with mayonnaise. I liked it in general but the price was quite high for the lack of quality or even quantity of food.

Was unsure about this place at first because its off the beaten path. But it was so good we came back the next day. Very nice staff that was very helpful even with our broken Spanish. No aircon but thats tipical for any authentic place. Get the Queen arepa, its amazing.
