Queensland Heritage Park - Tourist attraction in Biloela, Australia
Loved it, very interesting, put it on your to do list.
Spacious sites. Plenty of room. Access to museum is worth a visit.
Very friendly helpful staff. Nothing is to much trouble. If you stay in the rest area you can visit museum for free. Very well organised lots of exhibits.
Friendly staff close to town great facilities
Great camping area for caravans, motorhomes and large rigs. Level sites and roomy bathrooms facilities. 48 hour stay allowed.
great camping spot always clean facilities great display of machinery
This is a great museum of vintage cars trucks and equipment. Not to be missed. Even had a nice cuppa and cake.
Great display of machinery and heritage stuff friendly staff good coffee well worth a look
2 nights here, very quiet, 15 dollars a night powered and water, walking distance to town. Park itself is so interesting with lots of restored trucks, tractors and cars from half a century or so ago, also restored school houses, post offices etc with pics and paraphernalia from the same time period. Grey nomads will especially enjoy this I think.
Wonderful inside display, more outside but due to rain didnt go out. Will do next visit.
A lovely clean place with interesting history. Nice flat grassed area with toilet and showers.
Fantastic spot to camp for the allocated 48 hours. Great friendly staff, handy for town. Can go to the museum included in price of camping $10 unpowered and $15 powered. Can even get a coffee at the coffee shop on site. Perfect overall 10/10
Great park, powered sites, ensuite style amenities, museum, shop.
A great place to stay on your RV travels, would recommend to anyone.
The park is beautifully set up and the people running the cafe in the reception area are lovely. We camped for 2 nights and it was very peaceful.
Fantastic place to visit.48 hour RV parking for a minimal fee, good amenities
Very good amenities. Great price. Pity we can only stay 2 days.
Great 48 hr stop over. Very clean and tidy. The museum certainly took you back in time.
Great little stop over for a night or 2 , loads of history on the property , staff were very nice and accommodating. It was upsetting to see the caged cocktail tho, he was either molting or in distress , just hope you guys are looking after him , I just hate to see animals by themselves , but otherwise worth a look and stopover
A lovely 48 hr stopover behind the Heritage Centre. Free access to the museum which is a must see.
Very interesting place, only stayed for the one night for $10 unpowered and that got us into the museum and the rest of the park. Very interesting if you like to see vintage machinery. Recommend.
This is a great stopover....maximum allowed is 48hrs. $15/night. It is a really interesting place with lots of old farm machinery to have a look at. You need to contain your grey water or use buckets supplied to collect and carry away from the sites. Locked security gates with swipe cards. Toilets and showers on-site. Short drive to town.
Been here a few times. Only costs a few dollars to get in. Very interesting like a museum. Relaxing. Friendly helpful staff. I really like this place and always enjoy coming here.
Nice and tidy shower and toilets all in one..the staff are friendly and help u out and nice waling around the old farm machinery.
Friendly staff Great Caravan parkAnd reasonably priced
A really sweet lady made us some delightful coffees and gave us some great maps for where we were headed. Stunning little gift shop. Great place to stop in.
Great place to stay. Quiet area. Clean amenties, toilet and shower units. Excellent heritage museum. Great cafe too. Delicious cakes.
Closed for camping due to high rainfall but the bitumen carpark wasnt offered as an alternate overnight stop. With responsible placement of self contained caravan units more revenue could have been raised.P.S. Thank you for the information provided below. A little sad that businesses are threatened by a little healthy competition by a volunteer organisation. Keep up the good work 👏
Great historical display.
Thanks so much for the 2 nights stay. A great museum and camp site. We camped out the back for $10 a night - no power. Power will cost you $15 a night. We have a camper trailer (patriotand it just fits, we were in site 14. If you ask for say 15 there is a bit more room as it runs along the roadway. The showers / toilets are very good- clean and tidy. With our stay we were able to see the museum, included in our stay, which was great. We booked ahead to stay as the gates close at 1600 and you need a pass code to get in. There is a hotel within walking distance for meals if needed. A great place to stay and look around Biloela.
Really nice place to stop for a couple of days. Reaso able prices. Powered sites, and free entry to an amazing museum. All for $15.00Very nice staff.
Was a holiday highlight ... found my mothers (Yvonne family plaque ... large variety of historical artefacts and local history.
Congratulations to everyone that is involved in this great stop over. From the lovely ladies who checked us in to the well kept facilities thankyou only wish we could of stayed longer but really appreciate you being open to all us travellers.
Lovely place to stay $15 night power & water, very clean toilets and showers, roomy sites not overcrowded and in a key pass area. You get to browse through the historical site and not far from business centre.
1st visit here, very friendly volunteers in the info centre. Machinery & vehicles from yesteryear. Excellent spot.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Power n water $15.00 per night not over crowded 48hr stay. Gates close at 4pm. Showers toilets spotless.
Great place to stay 48 hours! $15 p/n. Clean facilities, coffee & souvenir shop. Tourist information Centre. Fantastic machinery museum (free admission while you stay). Its fairly close to CBD and water tank artwork attraction. Lovely hosts as well.
Brilliant, we arrived by bicycle with our dogs on our recent tour, very friendly staff, we booked a camp spot, we got power and a nice hot shower :we took the time to look around the museums while we were there. Some very very old Queensland and Biloela memorabilia. So many old vintage cars, I lost count. There was no shade, but thankfully we didnt need it :)
The volunteers should be very proud of the museum and the restored vehicles. We really enjoyed it.
Good for price $15 per night. Walk around the park like going back in time. Toilets and showers not the best. We went self sufficient. Total stay allowed 48 hours.
A truly wonderful outing! A friendly tour around the village. It was lovely to view and discuss the vintage home and farm items! Truly enjoyed the experience! Thanks for showing us how butter is churned too!
Great value brought back a lot of memories
Great spot, but must ring ahead & book in. Power, water & very clean showers. Free into the museum.
It more likes a big farming machinery museum.
We went here to get some information about Biloela and were greeted by the resident White Cockatoo who was very entertaining We were helped by the staff at the centre and was told the correct way of saying Biloela after I couldnt get my tongue around it, she was very helpful.
Plenty of room for your van or motorhome spend a couple of hours wandering around looking at the history have a cuppa in the cafe worth the stay and cheap 48 hour stay only $15 a night
10$ for an unpowered site with clean bathrooms and toilets. The Reception lady is very sweet and thoughtful, all the caravan had one spot in between each other as the caravan park was not full. Wi-Fi was not working though but you can go to the shopping world mall in the city centre to have free connection.
The park was well cared for a great flat area grassed but not green as could be expected in the dry conditions. The displays of old machinery was excellent as was the displays of yesteryear in the pavilion. Amenities were excellent. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend a visit and overnight stay. At $15 which includes entry to the displays it is good value for money.
A peaceful place to rest for a couple of days. Close to town for shopping yet far enough from the main road that you hear the traffic. The amenities are basic but clean. The caravan sites are all grass and the parking/camping area is very well lit at night. For $15 a night, you cant go wrong here. We like it... well be back.
Plenty of room , ladies at the booking in area are nice, happy, friendly and very helpful. Many things to look at in the museum while staying here
