Queens Gardens, Perth - Park and Garden in Kwinana, Australia
Simply Beautiful & Stunning Gardens right in the hustle and bustle of The City of Perth....I wonder though now if they will change the name to The Kings Gardens...?? Interesting to see what happens.Personally, I dont think they should... In honour of Her Majestys passing maybe they could erect a memorial statue there or something to honour her and her extremely long reign on the throne.Being so close to the WACCA as well.. I think most of us have all visited The Gardens at one time in our life or another... The ideas for this park in the future are endless, Id love to see what changes they make..
nice and quiet within city
So many lovely birds family nest in the park
Serene and beautiful
I come here regularly to do my exercises at the rotunda. In the middle of my workout, an older harmless looking aboriginal man came and sat himself next to my belongings. Big mistake. I only discovered that he stole my new phone after my session. Nice park but watch out for these low life lurking around the place and don’t make my mistake of dropping your guard for sake of social correctness. Be compassionate but be Wise and be careful.
Beautiful time of the year to visit. Lots of little baby water bird’s so do cute
Great addition to Perth. Nice thoroughfare between city and Northbridge. 24 hour police bus there. Love the light up sign board. Its a real feature of Perth. Its a bit of a shame about the food area that didnt quite work.
I like how there is a gate so that it protects the wildlife. Silly when people forget to close it. Not many people go here so its peaceful to chill. Although the grass is a-bit dead near the pond but itll grow back. I also like the historical statue.
Such a lovely spot to go and enjoy the grass, trees, ponds and birds
Plenty of ducks and swans along with green grass, beautiful gardens, wooden bridges and concrete paths. Great for a stroll.
Beautiful place to walk around
Its a quite and calm small park in the city. Its more popular for taking wedding photos and having ceremony. Love the lakes with swans ,ducks and lotus. Love the green and all the shades provides by the tree.
Nice peaceful place. Love the pied piper statue. Would be good to have a table and chairs Under the gazebo
Such a beautiful and calming place, best place to go and study as well as having picnics with loved ones!
I witnessed my beautiful Grand-niece Camellia marry her dream man Richard in this picturesque setting carved out in the West end of Hay Street in the middle of Perth City. The sprawling garden was well manicured , the flowers on the trees and bushes were in full bloom creating a perfect backdrop for the wedding. It seemed surreal sitting in this peaceful lush spot while looking up towards the 20+ story buildings (hotels and officessurrounding it.We stayed at The Frazier Suite just a three minute walk away to put our feet up and to cool off with a glass of Sparkling after the ceremony. 👰💍💒
Nice lush green park but the little ponds need a bit of maintenance as well as the plants around ... nonetheless very good park for a small gathering or BYO picnic party....
A really lovely space with a few shaded areas (treesand water features. The gazebo area was being made ready for a wedding, so that wasnt available.I guess I expected more from the gardens, there really isnt that much going on there. Its a lovely park, but really Queens Gardens - I did expect more.
This is such nice spot close to the city to have a walk or sit-down, great for a picnic lunch too. The gates are usually closed but not locked, you are requested to keep the gates closed. Inside youll find a pond with a few small bridges criss crossing, the Peter Pan statue (a copy of the famous statue located in Londons Kensington Gardens). Take care if you are there during the breeding season as the Swans do not like people getting close to their brood.
Gardens no longer fit for a queen. Lawns no longer manicured, dead birds, widespread weeds in garden beds, maintenance required for many garden features. Still some of its former glory manages to shine through. Disappointed at its demise since my last visit.
A quiet, secluded park in the city where you can admire the swans, ducks, the lake and large trees. Very relaxing and chill area. It is also very tidy and clearly very well maintained. Would visit again!
Ive been coming here to relax for over 30 years. Its a quiet little garden of manicured lawns shrubs, trees and flower beds, but the big attraction is the bird life.Theres a terrific duck pond filled with ducks (naturallycoots and swans.Spring is the best time to see mummy birds raising their young in a quiet, relaxing environment. Perfect for an afternoon picnic or just a stroll.Try it. Youll love it.🦆🐣
Beautiful gardens. Well kept. Can recommend for any occasion. How fortunate we are to have a park in the heart of Perth.
Very nice place to relax, pretty quiet given its surrounded by busy streets of the city.
Very clean and well maintained with lots of birds and lovely shady places to find peace and relax. Good facilities like toilets and easy access for disabled as well. There is some statues too
A beautiful place to escape to whilst in the city. The bird watching here is really nice, especially in spring when the swans have their babies. Its also a very nice place to get married and have your photos taken. Plenty of parking available; paid during the week, and free on weekends.
Quiet beautiful park, you can chill under a tree shade and enjoy some read or snacks.Red cat bus stop in front of the park.
A lovely park in the city. Always ducks and swans enjoying the water and beautiful grass.
Great bit of greenery in East Perth. Walked around the main lake, plenty of ducks and ducklings, an interesting Peter Pan statue in the centre and many pretty bridges. No playground for kids but there is one across the road towards the city.
Such a gorgeous place in the city ! So green, so good !Have a walk in there is so quiet, have a rest or lunch... seat in the grass, listen to the birds ! Perth is amazing !
Very nice place for a picnic. There are public toilets and public transport. Huge gazebo.
Love this place! Little piece of heaven hidden away in the City. Been visiting it for over 30 years, took my Grandson to see the Peter Pan Statue, he enjoyed it as much as his mum did when she was his age. Treasured memories.
Lively park with a jogging track around it, great place to spend the evening before sunset, some birds and ducks roaming around, beautiful flowers blooming on the spring. It just amazing to have this park on the backyard
Beautiful Park in the east the CBD. bird life aplenty including Black Swans and if youre lucky their cygnets. lovely kept gardens a perfect midday wander location.
Quiet, peaceful environment to just relax in.Or if youre more energetic a pleasant place for a stroll.
Nice little park hidden in plain sight! Great place for a walk or picnic
A tranquil park over 120 years old. Great for picnics and wedding photos. Doesn’t have kid’s swings but a lot to explore in a small space. Best to visit on Sunday when parking is free. Remember to keep the gates shut
Great tucked away gem in the heart of the city. A nice spot for a picnic or just to sit and relax.
Queens Gardens is a magnificent Lush Green Gardens in Perth City. Admired and frequently visited by local office people having their lunch, or locals just relaxing and enjoying the pleasure of being in Queens Gardens Perth. There is also 3 lakes with 3 wooden bridges that you can walk over to be able to cover the whole of the gardens. There are lots of Australian Native plants and plenty of shady trees including large palm trees. There is also an abundance of wildlife including Western Australians Iconic Black Swan, ducks and ducklings during breeding season and may other birds. If you havent been to Queens Gardens I highly recommend a visit and you will be pleasantly surprised.
What a hidden gem. Such a quaint little spot to relax. And seeing the little packs of ducks wandering round is beautiful. Would highly recommend a look see :)
It was small, but nice enough. I was expecting more flowers, though the lake and ducks were nice.
It is a very nice garden to go for a chill. But where is the tea house? Luv Zsuzsanna
Its a beautiful place to sit and relax or to walk your dog, it has a beautiful lake
This park is the perfect place to walk or read a book. All of the plants and the birds in there are very beautiful. The bench from the movie ”Notting Hill” or the Peter Pan statue may inspire you something artistic.
Beautiful park, perfect to relax, lots of grass to sit down an have a quiet moment, picnic or read a book. You can also find the original chair used in Notting Hill and replica of a Peter pan statue.
Beautiful quiet garden, lots of birds, great plants, and trees. Easy to reach by a CAT bus, bus stop by entry to the garden.
My fav place in Perth. Id like to get married in this stunning slice of heaven. Whether youre coming for a quiet place to read your Agatha Christie novel and enjoy a local cup of Joe, or youre on an adventurous picnic with 10 of your closest friends, this is the location for you. The weather ways seems to be fair as soon as you step through her gates. With seams on the pond and flowers everywhere it truly does transport you to a place Allen Wonderland, and you wonder will a white rabbit be seen with his pocket watch in his paw grumbling aloud about being late.
What a neat park to visit in the city. Birds and bridges. Very restful plus it has toilets
The entrance of the park has wrought iron gate which was locked but pedestrians can enter from the side. The garden is very spacious and looks quite peaceful and a nice place to just sit and relax for a bit. It was raining when I came but it was still quite nice, but a bit wet.I quite liked the way the the trees were planted as well as the bridges that go over the lakes. The flowers that lined the path were quite colourful.Nice park thats a bit away from the main CBD, close to the WACA stadium.
Great spot for a picnic! Lovely quiet green areas, lots of birds, and beautiful plants, and trees.
An old quarry turned into pristine gardens. Many people come here to wed in the huge open gazebo and pretty surroundings. Ducks, lilipads and monet-inspired bridges galore! Grab a picnic basket, a good book, or the like - youll be pleasantly surprised! Plenty of shade and clean restrooms.
