Modern tearoom/cafe with a mezzanine floor serving freshly made brunches, lunches and sweet treats.
Cute dessert store with lovely cakes and sweets.Interior of the store is very beautiful and homey, feel very comfortable. Desserts are good and with reasonable price.
Was a bit afraid it was gonna get cold but not at all.The pumpkin spice latte is GORGEOUS and the cakes are birthday worthy.Staff is absolutely lovely too.Highly recommend the latte.
The food was great, but the service was a nightmare. The waitress wearing glasses who served us today is unbelievably rude. I feel sorry for her cuz it seems like no one has ever taught her how to be a well-mannered person. Only people who have a miserable life will treat others like that.🙏
There are not too many gluten free options, but the few that they have are fantastic. I had a superlative gluten free orange cake. Absolutely advised.
Terribile experience..we went to queen of tarts during the weekend and they let us in at 5:15 pm, at 5:25 pm part of the stuff asked us to leave as they were closing. The closing time supposed to be at 6pm not 5:30, we did have even enough time to finish our tea and cake, that in fairness some time ago cakes were much better. Nobody informed us that they were closing earlier than usual during week ends. I am really disappointed by this experience, part of the stuff was really rude coming more than one time asking us leave early.
We got here just before a serious morning rush at about 10. 30amTheres usually a queue to get in on a Saturday morning and once you try their cappuccino you understand why. Its perfect! This time around we had a delectable vegan double chocolate cake and a buttery scone with homemade jam. Both were amazing.Super cozy inside and the staff were friendly and attentive. Cute tableware adds to the homely grandmas kitchen style experience.Looking about us there were alot of delicious dishes being sampled by other patrons, ranging from savoury to sweet. They all looked very happy with their choices so well definitely be back to try some more to sate our food envy.Very reasonably priced for really good fair.
Amazing cakes! One thing though is that the menu is more expensive when dining in vs. take away. I got a take away box for carrot cakes and a slice of Baileys cheese cake to eat inside and was surprised with the bill. Cakes were amazing and it’s understandable they charge more for the tables and service, super cute interior.
Good tarts and lattes! Its not themed for Alice in Wonderland but still very quaint and eclectic.
What a cute place! Im so sad I had to grab something for take away because the place is lovely, but at least I could try it! Their selection of sweets is wide and tempting, I want to try everything!! I tried the chocolate scone and was so big and delicious!! Hot chocolate was good too and nice staff
The place is nice and it’s located in a very cute street, the scones are delicious. But there was a Brazilian (I think she is Brazilianwaitress that was so rude with us during the whole service and when we paid and we did not give her any tip, she didn’t say even thank you.
The apple cinnamon crumble was fantastic. Great balance of sweet, savory and tart. Would definitely order it again in a heartbeat. The fresh and light whipped cream was a fantastic addition.
Best place to eat cakes and drink coffee.I can’t wait to come back to Dublin to taste all the cakes. My favorite one is the carrot cake, is delicious and one of the best I’ve ever tasted and also the baileys cheesecake.10/10
This is a great place to have something sweet in Dublin. I sometimes struggle to find good food in this city, but this is definitely an amazing place! Moreover, the service was very good, really kind people. Just better to dont go too late since they might have finished most of the cakes.
the food was very tasty and with the cake selection everyone finds something. we were particularly pleased by the staff. We’ll definitely come back here again.
Lovely place, packed with people friendly staff and delightful treats. 🥳🥳🥳😍
Had a delicious lemon meringue pie, and a lovely chocolate cake. Service was good. My favourite cake café in Dublin city centre.
I came here on a recommendation of a friend and I am glad I did. I had the savory tart of the day and it was delicious. I regrettably was full after that and did not get to sample the desserts which looked amazing. I found the location ideal for people-watching from the outside seating area. The staff were friendly and attentive.
Incredible selection of sweets. I had the Guinness Chocolate cake and it was perfect. All staff were lovely. Busy little place, so don’t expect it to be quiet.
We looked up online the best place to get carrot cake from, since we were really craving it, and this place was on top of the list. When we got there the carrot cake was actually sold out and so we decided to share a victorian sponge cake and get something to drink. After waiting for 25 minutes to get our order they brought us the wrong cake and drink, and when we finally got the right ones they werent really that good. The cake didnt taste very fresh and was a bit dry.The only highlight of the place were the waiters, wich are very nice.
I just recently found this place in Temple bar. I loved the variety of cakes. I highly recommend asking Luiz (our serverif you aren’t sure about which option pick first!! Had a banana cake and my fiancé had a carrot cake, both were delicious. They are fresh and tasty!!! This is comfort food that you should have with a nice cup of coffee!
Lovely food and atmosphere. The staff is also incredible. A special mention to Luiz, who is super friendly and gave us the best suggestions for desserts. We will definitely be back 10/10.
We went here on a Sunday afternoon and Wednesday morning. On Sunday we were told that all the gluten free options were sold out and they had a limited selection being so late in the day. The host recommended that we come in the morning on Wednesday. However, when we went on Wednesday (45 minutes after openingwe were told that they had not received their gluten free shipment and to try later in the afternoon. They also didnt have a full selection of regular offerings as they had just opened. Their vegan selection was minimal and the cake presented underwhelming.I am giving them 3 stars as the scone I bought was amazing, but deducting two stars due to the lack of overall selection and apparent mixed messaging on when to arrive for the gluten free treats.
Food was still good. What was really off putting was the staff. I couldnt enjoy my meal unfortunately. When I asked for another drink, got an eye roll. The waiter was very abrupt cause I made a mistake with my tea and continued to be so when I was paying. I wont bother returning cause I dont need to be treated like some haridon when I made a mistake. Not worth it.
Nice place with a good atmosphere hixever waiting 20 minutes for 2 coffees first thing in the morning was excessive. The waitresses could have been nicer and the fact that you cant pay separately is annoying. Good place but overrated and very touristy.
Lovely cafe with loads of homemade cakes , l got carrot cake which was lovely , the portion was very generous, the staff were very professional with no delays in service ( like in some other places these daysthe waitress was lovely and very good ( Im think she was french )
Our waitress was so rude, it kind of ruined the experience. She rolled her eyes when we waved her over to ask a question among other weird things for a touristy restaurant. I struggle to provide an unbiased review... The cakes were fine. They did not taste bad but they were pretty standard. They did not have a very good lunch menu. Their breakfast menu looked better, so perhaps that would be a better option if youre looking for more of a meal.
Enjoyable breakfast, scrambled eggs done right, in my opinion. I would recommend having breakfast here. There desserts looked delicious too but was a bit early for me to try.
Food is mediocre - cheesecake tasted stale (soft base and heavy, bland-flavored top). Veggie breakfast was meh. Daily savory tart was okay but not worth €13. Server gave us bottled water instead of tap. Its always busy, too busy for me.
Delicious cakes / tarts. Daily vegan cake available (was double chocolate when we visited). Gets quite busy but that part of temple bar is nice and quiet so ok to sit outside.
I took a vegetarian traditional break fast and it’s was really good 😍 good quality of food, nice staff and verry cute place, I just found the price of the scones a bit steep, but it was very good and quite big ! (With good amount of raspberries)
Lovely cafe in the heart of Dublin. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. The baked cheesecakes are delicious (baileys with chocolate chips and raspberry). Highly recommended :)
Nice small Caffè. Delicious food and nice staff. Great for breakfast.
Amazing desserts, really friendly and nice waitress :)
Amazing! Staff were amazing and I wanted to try one of everything however I eventually settled on a blueberry scone and a baileys chocolate chip cheesecake. Both were amazing and if I’m ever in Dublin again this place will be my first stop.
The most delicious cakes and pastries you can find in this area! Everything is cute and pretty but so tasty and well balanced. I am a big fan of the so famous Victoria sponge cake. The team is very friendly and flexible, they have many choices as well as salty meals which is also good for brunch lunch. I highly recommend this place!
The only reason we dont give 5 stars is we did not get to eat their famous scones. Reached 330pm scones were sold out.Our disappointment was quickly redeemed by the super sweet, friendly and beautiful French waitress from southern part of France, Bordeaux!New York cheese cake is good but cappuccino and flat white are very average, in fact the cappuccino is below average. Come early for the scones to avoid disappointment.
Cannot recommend this little gem of a café enough!! The best scone I have ever had (we had raspberry but would want to try them all), fantastic service, cute courtyard setup and divine breakfast!
The workers are so friendly and polite, they made my day. The food was really delicious, someone told me they ate the best carrot cake here so I had to try it. We also ordered a raspberry scone, it wasnt very sweet so it fit perfectly for breakfast. I didnt find it expensive for everything it offers. I recommend it and will return.
They were fantastic! I was taking a trip to Ireland and emailed them ahead to see if by chance they could make a birthday cheesecake for my wife’s birthday. They were very accommodating and on top of that the cake was fantastic!
Delicious cakes, freshly prepared and soft brownies. The cappuccino was also strong and good.
Great sandwiches cakes and service. The coffee could be better. There was a line outside, but it moves fast.
Enjoyable experience where we sat on the patio and just had their blueberry scone and raspberry scone. Got their mocha and cappuccino. Scones were delicious and came with clotted cream, butter, and preserves.Would come back to try other bakery items!
Atmosphere is quaint, waitress was sweet and the food was scrumptious! Even the savory scone with eggs delighted my husband when he was skeptical of a “bakery” for breakfast. It’s true, this is a must when in Dublin!!!
The best scones in town!!A true gem with great atmosphere and extremely kind staff. You must try their scones, and the savoury tart of the day is fantastic as well.Highly recommended.
We had a very lovely breakfast here. Each tried a bap, and shared a raspberry scone. Delightful. Coffee was ace as well. It gets very busy very quickly on Saturday morning, so prepare to wait if youre not there right when they open.
Nice cafe and more of a gem for nice coffee and sweet tooth cravings, perfect for the Irish weather🙂 The Old fashioned Victorian sponge cake stole the show.Awesome coffee and good variety on the menu.Helpful staff is another feather on the crown of this "Queen"!
I visited this place with a friend for a small brunch. The place is nice and the waiters are very friendly. Although the card is mainly devoted to sweet meals, there a nice brunch cart. I am only speaking of the brunch here. It was simple but nice… Nothing too fancy… It is a nice place where to have a small dinner during a week working day !
Always love going to Queen of tarts..Staff very friendly, plenty of lovely scones, cakes, ideal for lunch, a date, or enjoying reading 📚 with a nice tea/ coffee.Im partial to either carrot cake or Victoria sponge myself but theres Bailey cheesecake, apple crumble, and many others..
I was really happy to hear about the reopening! Its a lovely place to stop while visiting the city, with a nice variety of dishes and cakes to satisfy those who need something sweet and those who prefer savory. And some extra choices depending on the day.I recommend you go early on a weekend to be able to try the pancakes!!There are lots of people coming and going so it is possible that you may have to wait to be seated, I recommend you go around 14h if you follow a Spanish timetable, you may be lucky.Big thanks to the service there, they were all charming and patient :)
I really enjoyed this place. The Belgian chocolate scone that I ordered was very nice and there were a lot of cakes, pies and tarts on the menu that looked very appetising! The service was great, and the staff was effective and helpful. The inside area is really nice to sit in, but there is also an outdoor seating area for warmer days. There is also a selection of various hot drinks with original flavours that I would love to try. I would really like to go there again!
