Burnett Way, Harare, Zimbabwe, Chitungwiza
Cultural hub with exhibits, a library, a model village & a relic related to the Ark of the Covenant.
A great intertaining place
Disappointed the place isnt well maintained nor updated or even modernised.. I remember my last visit in the mid 80s come 2022 things are not as they once were
Needs some renovation and rehabilitation for sure.
Research hotspot....
Nice
Lot should be done to improve the building especially the ceiling
There exhibitions need to be updated
Packed with animaginable expertise
Generally very interesting, but theres not enough light and the village should be more interactive.
Educative
It is well thanks ZRP for maintaining order and secure
Limited exhibition, not bad when you have an hour between engagements whilst in the city, you part with US$3 or the ZWL equivalent
A serious refurbish and updating is required, with improved lighting. The receptionist and the guard were very friendly.
The place looks dull, doesnt attract the attention of passerbys
The place was just full of things you dont know
Awesome place to visit with wide variety of taxidermy exhibits.
The staff are user friendly
The place is awesome
Its not bad
A modestly arranged museum bearing i formative historical data apicable to all levels
Its small now need to be relocated an redesigned
Its a good measuem, however I think they should add virtual sounds of the animals to improve the experience
This place is not adequately marketed for people to appreciate what it stand for. Looks deserted
Just parked there,.. Never went inside.
Great place , but improve on your lighting system.
The service wasnt excellent though. Too many jerry cans.
Great place to visit and learn about Zim Hostory.
One place never to be forgotten. Beautiful Jazz music in the evenings
Nice school
While the exhibits are really interesting they could do with a little sprucing up.
Amazing place to learn to trace the history of Zimbabwe and its culture. However, noticed the word "Negro" on one of their exhibits, which I found offensive. All in all, I had an amazing time.
best to learn of my history some wrong but lot good
Great history and stories found in this place. Allows one to learn and experience the importance of the past, present and future.
The museum there is probably the best place to learn about the history of Zimbabwe. We recommend go on a guided tour of the museum after you have done all your other activities in Harare or visit to Great Zimbabwe, this will reinforce everything that you learned on your adventures.
A good place to go with your kids to learn more about the nature and suroundings
This is quite extensive in terms of the areas and zones to see and a full day visit is highly recommended.
Its a gd place spend an amazing day
The place has some really interesting pieces that will open your eyes to the human sciences world. If you want to just spend a day learning and getting exposure on what the human sciences world has to offer this is the place to be. The collection is huge and it will definitely interest anyone with an open mind. Better take your phone for the selfies and a bottle of water. Great service, in need of reinvention though.
The museum is a great way to show us about history. They need to constantly upgrade it
I actually learned a couple of things, lovely experience. The place does need some renovation.
Too much traffic. Learner drivers all over and its used as free parking by motoring public
Simple, nice and refreshing to take kids and learn some of Zimbabwes fine heritage. In need of more material and a bit facelift.
The place has good display material...it can be better
Nice place to visit. Especially for the young ones.
Not the greatest museum. The exhibits are a bit old. Standard southern African museum exhibits.
$10 entrance fee for foreigners. Not much to see but whats there is interesting.
Great place really good stuff inside
It used to be great, not so well maintained right now!
700 years old south Africans artifacts are keeping here for the people that are searching for the history of the human in the Earth. It is also possible to use the great library in this building.
(Historically speakingdidnt actually go, watching and googling site, I found very interesting
