We were travelling through from out west and needed a place to have lunch and give our dog a break. Found this lovely park through a Google search! Clean, quiet and lots of shade. Picnic tables and fire pits along the river. Beautiful trees. It was lovely.

The go-to park of my teen years. Can hide away and forget all of life’s problems… was a good spot in a place like Brandon where it’s small enough that it’s hard to hide away from everything day to day… and that was before the internet.

Nice park for a walk or bike ride. The part of the bike path that goes by the park is in good condition. Relatively clean. The river winds along beside it. Theres a small play structure area for kids thats okay. Tennis courts look fun. Forested area is a bit shady and wild. Homeless guy in a tent in the woods by there all summer, seems harmless.

Has a newly updated playground, tennis courts, walking trail and places to fish. Children loved the new playground. the tennis court needs updating as the tarmac needs refinishing. Havent gone much down the trail so cant comment on that.

Great to be outdoors, well kept and maintained. Has 2 tennis courts, a park for kids to play at, and lots of picnics benches to sit at.

As everyone says: lovely site, gorgeous trees, Assiniboine riverside, secluded and quiet. Unfortunately, sadly neglected by the City of Brandon: crushed firepits, and more ....immense potential !!

Got some great pictures of the Assiniboine River and the Canadian Geese nesting near by. Colors are a little bleak right now its been a cool dry spring.

Great place to go with the family. Is never to crazy busy. Has a beautiful view but there isnt very much wind cover so it can be chilly if the wind picks up.
