The park is very big with a vast number of both animal and bird species. It houses different crater lakes and tree-climbing lions that are satisfying to watch.It has access roads and hotels as well as lodges for those who would like to relax in the wilderness.

I got the best experience ever.. seeing the elephants, lions, Topic, and many more, I had the best day.

Nice park. However the national reserve forest is much bigger.

The best place to do a game drive, a variety of animals and animal species both on land and in the water along kazinga channel which joins Lake Edward & Lake George.Lots of Elephants, Antelope species, Water backs, Warthogs, Lions, Buffalos, Snakes, Hippopotamus, Crocks, Birds species, Leopards, Monkeys, to mention but a few... And of course the great community experience at @Crimson Primary School Kasese (+256758203205)

Incredible place. Started off viewing several kinds of animals enroute to the park from elephants, cheetahs, antelopes etc.Then inside the park is a must see. No writing here can describe the experience, but to sum it up, an elephant charged at us for trying to cross the road.

Possibly the biggest let down in Africa. Hardly any animals, bribes to be paid to see the lions as they are off the main safari trails. A full day safari and we only saw 3 lions and lots of Kob. Thats it. I would definitely save my money and spot wildlife from the roadsides. There are no zebra, rhino, or giraffe in this park. Dont let the pictures fool you. We left very disappointed and felt ripped off as the bribes give you only enough time to take a few pictures and no time to enjoy the very few animals you will see.

Its the only park in the world where you will find Tree Climbing Lions.Currently its the only Park in Uganda where you can have Night Safari As Well.Also you can have water safari to watch Elephants and Hippos.Here you can rarely see Crocodile because Crocodiles are majorly seen at Murchison Falls national park.I mostly enjoyed the Night Safari with Rain it was too adventures. You will have a Guard with Gun during Night Safari and Halogen Lamp so that you can watch Animals in Night also.

So interesting, so refreshing, a lovely place to visit animals in their natural habitat, very accessible, lovely hotels and accomodation facilities, its vast, be assured of satisfaction. Worth the time and money, visit Queen Elizabeth National Park

Would recommend to skip this park in Uganda. A lot less animals compared to Murchison and probably Kidepo (we did not actually visit kidepo though). Boat ride is nice though with lots of hippos and birds and very few crocodile (s). But Murchison also has a boat ride that is better. Driving safari we went 2 times on the kisenyi plains, for a guided day and evening drive. There were relatively small groups of kobs, some buffalos and there should be quite a few elephants. No giraffes, zebras in this park. Roads are all very flat, so would be easy to drive yourself here.

The best destination for one to appreciate nature

We visited Queen Elizabeth National Park in evening session with very humble and co operative guide. It is a very big park with animals like lions, leopards, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, hippos and 600+ species of birds. You can have a pleasant boat ride in Kalinga chhanel where you can find hundreds of birds on the banks. It is worth to visit Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Amazing fauna and flora

Road side story: So we do not go into park but every time we do a public road (Between Kasesse to Kisoro), we see so many of elephants and baboons. Amazing elephants families walking across the road especially later part of afternoon or early morning is breathtaking experience ‼︎ Water buffaloes and many others you can just see from the road side. Love this road.

Queen Elizabeth National Games Park is one of Ugandans four national parks. It is located in Western Uganda and occupied a massive land mass with varieties of wild animals. A place where you can see diversified african wildlife. There are lions (we were not lucky enough to spot one), antelopes, elephant (they are so giant!), baboons, ugandan kobs, pumba, hippos, bush pigs and several kind of birds. It will be the best view if you start you safari early in the morning.

It is a national park where it is not uncommon to see lions, leopards and many other animals.

No giraffes, zebras, rhinos. Very few lions and leopards. We saw many elephants and buffalos, a few hippos, and a tail of a sleeping lion in the bushes. All who’ve been to other safaris can attest that this is one of the more empty safaris they’ve visited.The Kazinga channel is the highlight of the park; don’t miss it!Come to Uganda for the chimpanzee and gorilla trekking; QENP is a bonus side trip but don’t bank on seeing anything more than 3 out of the big 5.

I fell in love with what I used to just hear Uganda Zabuu I didnt know that the beautiful wild Animals we see on TV actually one can drive for a day or Two and enjoy these Beautiful creatures made by God and man became selfish by selling it imcase you want to put your eyes on them or just walking in the park .I was able to see the trees I thought the generation had gone.

2’000km2 of savannah! We saw elephants, lions, hippos, antilopes, baboons...The boat ride was my favorite part; do not miss that. Ishasha was underwhelming

Queen Elizabeth National park is a very incredible place.It spans the equator line, so one should not miss a chance to take a photo at the spot.Queen Elizabeth National park has over 95 mammal species and over 600 bird species.Elephants are in plenty, tree climbing lions, sight of the Kazinga channel, Lake Edward, Lake George, mountain Rwenzori and quite a number of apes.

Its a very nice place to visit. If you get s good tour guide both on the boat ride and game drive to take you to the most interesting spots

What a beautiful place. You can enjoy the savannah here. Go on a safari and watch all the local wildlife. It can get extremely hot at noon so do bring a hat and use a sun screen. Prices are acceptable, not very high. Lions, gazelles, hippos, baboons crocodiles etc plus a lot of birds can be seen here. Definitely worth a visit if you want to see the flora and fauna of East Africa.

Africa is the best place for wildlife experience. The best part is that the wild animals are not kept in cages but are left in the open. They get to prey on the other animals, which actually is the natural phenomena, so naturally. This National Park is very much appreciated by the tourists for being the best. Amazing views of all the wild beasts. Lions residing on trees. Caught up with the video of the lions climbing and getting down of the trees like the Spiderman, never seen before, the Cheetahs do it but not Lions. Huge park, Lovely views of this park, great place.

Irungu Forest Safari Lodge was our Operator and Innocent was our guide. I personally wouldn’t go father from this recommendation as Innocent used to be a park warden, he knows the wardens and can get insider information of locations of animals.

I finally see many lions in one day.

Had a very unbeatable experience at the park. Started with breakfast at the Meet Safari Lodge located just inside the park. Went on a boat ride across the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. Went for a park drive viewing the different species of wild plants and animals. Took off time to visit the Katwe Salt Lake which is also located in the park. It is a nice place for vacation, honeymoon and weekend get away with friends and family. Big up to the hospitable waiters and waitresses at the Mweya Safari Lodge who served us with love and care. The lodge also offers accommodation basing on the package you choose.

One of the best national park and safari. Its almost in the border to DR Congo.Balloon safari is also available here. But not that much Worthy. Early hours safari in vehicle is good choice , try to start at 5AM. Did get chance to see pair of lion in the early morning. There are a lot of volcano available near the place, try to visit there also. In 4-5 hours of game complete park can be captured.
