Great selection of drinks, and a total vibe in general

I just called at 859 and wanted to place an order for 4 of their larger dishes for my family i was told their larger menu closed at 9 even though they are open until 11 and would not take my order. I will be glad to spend my 80 dollars elsewhere

Great outdoor dining atmosphere

Blended has already become a staple for me in Allentown and Ive only been living here for a few weeks. All of the bartenders and servers are exemplary, funny, and generally pleasant. The manager, Jen, is just as hard-working and kind as the other staff. They offer phenomenal cocktails and if you like spicy dont forget to ask for the Allentown hot sauce.On a less fortunate note, I witnessed a belligerent customer this evening who was frustrated with waiting for a drink. The bar was packed, someone at every seat, and a full outdoor and indoor section as well, and he began to wave his arms and verbally degrade one of the bartenders. I have to say, both the bartender and Jen managed the situation with a level of patience, eloquence, and professionalism that should have been taught to this unfortunate individual.All in all, I would absolutely recommend this venue for food, cocktails, and fun events, they have a wonderful space. I will be looking forward to my next trip back!

Food and drinks are good. Nice atmosphere.

I have came here before and was not to pleased, but they have updated their menu and it was a great upgrade! Food was good drinks are great! The service is the best, very polite and helpful staff! Michael and Emily were the best bartenders for such a beautiful day!

Our server was awesome. He was really attentive to my celiac restrictions! Beautiful drinks.

I was in town this past weekend for the hockey tourney so this place was perfect, being right next door to the PPL Center.I had the Turkey Apple Brie slider and this is one of the top sandwiches I have ever had. It may have been a little pricey but it was worth it. The space was great and the employees were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely order this again and again.

So the wait on food was pretty bad, we were there 4 hours and didnt see food till 3 hours in. Keep in mind, this is during a staffing crisis, but still, they shouldnt take more reservations than they could handle. My chicken was tough and burnt. The drinks were good though.

Atmosphere was great! Flavor of what we ordered not bad. A lot of great looking items on the menu. Would look forward to trying more, but the real reason for the low rating is the service was terrible. From the fact that the server when greeting our table never bothered to ask if our children would like something to drink, to that fact that literally we sat down and within seconds ask, “do you wanna put some food in”. I have never experienced such inexperienced wait staff service. Very poor. It really seemed as if the server could have cared less that we were sitting in her section. Service is far better at the Hamilton street location.

I brought my kids here for my daughters 14th birthday and we got the s’mores as dessert ! They were kind enough to comp it for her special day. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Everyone ate everything all up lol

Did not eat, just has some pregame libations. The bartenders were very nice and quick to take / refill orders. There were a few beers that were gone but still on the menu, only reason for 4 and not 5 starts.

Started out great! The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We were seated quickly and put in drink orders…then it went downhill. 2 of the 3 of us got drinks. We received our appetizer but didn’t have plates, flatware or napkins to eat it. Had to remind staff twice about the 3rd drink. The tables that ordered after us, got their meals before us. When our meals arrived, they had definitely been sitting. Lukewarm and dry. Server was clearly overwhelmed (certainly we understand). It was game night at PPL Center and they did make changes to the menu to accommodate that. Not sure the answer but the experience was lackluster for a a 1 1/2 sit time.

Food was average. Service terrible. Took 20 minutes to come and give us our check. Never asked for a second drink. Second time poor service. Last time coming here.

The food was... fine. But the ticket times are patently ridiculous. It took more than 40 minutes to get a plate of tater tots with some cheese sauce. I dont unserstand how a brewpub across from the PPL center can be so unprepared on the evening of a Phantoms game. I dont know if the problem is staffing, prep, or management - but Ive seen better run bars getting ripped apart by John Taffer.

Excellent drink selection. Food was on par with local gastropub fare and quality. The only complaint I have was the plates dished out initially were dirty, though the waitress was quick to correct this. Otherwise a pleasant experience overall.

The menu is very uninspired. The shareable plates are just an array of tasteless fried foods. We have been here various times and tried most of them. The cheesesteak empanadas are particularly foul. They need more options for meals especially entrees. Hard to enjoy a date here when the only options for food are fried unappetizing plates and sliders. Menu truly needs an update.

Great staff. Great ambiance. I’m not one about quantity but quality. I understand with COVID it’s hard to Manage fresh food. This was a Sunday brunch. I had salad with chicken. It was priced okay. I was expecting more of a chef experience. However, Lots of frozen chicken squares and minimal amounts of arugula all in a medium size cereal bowl was what I would expect at a common chain. I will try again in the near future but hope it is more of a 4.5-5 star meal. I don’t mind spending more for an entree that is enjoyable.

Great place for Happy Hour on a Thursday night. Good food and love their drink selections. They also give free beer samples so you can try before you buy.

Disappointed 😞 The food wasnt good. I was hoping it would be better than Bru Daddys on Hamilton... I hate paying for food I dont eat. The salmon pattie tasted fishy..not fresh. Jambalaya was the fish special & it was terrible, it had a good smoky flavor but the consistency mushy, tasted pureed. I didnt like the environment either, too dark and cold. They should bring some of Bru Daddys to this location. On a positive note the cocktails are good if you want to come just for drinks!

Giving this a 3-star rating only because the restaurant is cold and per the "owners instructions", the heat cannot be turned up!! Go figure! The food was very good (especially the shareable plates), service was excellent and there is a great selection of beers. If you go this winter, carry earmuffs and an extra sweater.

Mediocre food. Friendly enough staff, but complete disregard for the fact that they are inside of a residential building. They play club music until after midnight on weekdays making it miserable for Strata residents.

These people know how to make a cocktail, and how to have a conversation. Mark our bartender was brilliant with his recommendations as well as his crafting of the drinks. Also met the scientist behind the scenes Zack (I hope that’s how it’s spelled). His ability to make certain flavors and syrups in house are what really make even traditional cocktails here, truly shine. We then spoke to Eric, gave us his knowledge and history of the craft and business , which has us heavily convinced we need to frequent the establishment to taste what’s new. So basically, yes, good times and liquids.

They participated in Allentown restaurant week and we shared deviled eggs. They were great and it was taco Tuesday. Great value!

I had the bourbon bacon sliders. They were delicious. There is also a fine selection of craft and draft beers.

Awesome atmosphere at the outdoor bar on the ArtsWalk! Friendly staff and delicious cocktails and small plates.

One of my favorite happy hour spots Downtown, the outdoor bar is perfect especially when theres live music! The drinks are great and the bartenders are friendly. The food menu has plenty of delicious options and is great for ordering a few different things and sharing with friends!

The wait staff were great, bartenders were very good and the overall atmosphere was very nice. The beverages were tasty with a few different options. Im only giving four stars because of the pricing of the food. While the food all came out great and was very good, you end up paying a premium for what amounts to be a small amount of food. It was really good but still expensive for your portion size.

We were in town for the Allentown Fair concerts. Love this place. We had a fantastic bartender. Wish I wouldve gotten her name. We had drinks there both before and after the concerts.

spent some time with a friend, had some drinks, only had to wait a few minutes for the host to clean a table for us. The waitress was very nice and attentive, did not feel rushed, as we were there for over an hour. I recommend.

Soooooo I made a review yesterday .... I went back on September 4th 2021 and Im guessing they seen this review sooo they decided to put a FLY IN MY FOOD disgusting !! The karaoke guy was rude ! And now this ! 🤦🏾‍♀️ Im definitely going to report this to the health department .

Come on guys. Youre in an apartment building. Cut the loud music by 10pm. Loud music til midnight on a weekday isnt cool.

Food was disgusting... like I never send stuff back ever it feels so rude but it was impossible not to. The bowl was flavorless and the rice so dry I got instant heart burn. I powered through the lettuce wraps which was just mayo chicken salad? Very underwhelming and this also came out after our meals. My partner got the macaroni again it was a flavorless overcooked blob. Also untrained pasta so the pan was filled with water under the cheese and flavorless meat. It is shocking the difference between here and their brewery two blocks away. Go to the original brudaddy for much better food and surprisingly better beer too!

First off want to say staff was remarkable and welcoming. Nothing like their flag ship location. The food however was beyond lackluster. They were missing multiple menu items the day we visited including the steak(didn’t have rocks…), dumpling, spring roles among others. The tikka masala mac and cheese was beyond watery and the short rib was barely seasoned. The lettuce wraps where just chicken salad you’d make at home. Save yourself the trouble and take the walk two blocks.

Unbelievable hospitality and service by the waitress, the manager (Cassie), and the cook (Uptown). I highly recommend this establishment.

Good environment, great food, awesome indoor/outdoor bar and amazing service.

It took 20 mins to get our waters. We ordered multiple appetizers and we were not happy with them, super bland we killed the bottle of Tabasco to add flavor. Never order the Cesar salad it was served as 3 leaves that I had to cut and the dressing was not Cesar. They charged us for everything. If I could rate it zero stars I would. Management had an attitude when we complained, I will never go back. I wish there was an option of no stars!!!

The server was very good and friendly, but we asked for K-pop egg rolls as an appetizer and they came out last. The order of the food just seemed random. The food itself was pretty good. The atmosphere inside is very dark and gray. Could use some warmer tones inside. Overall its one of the top places to eat in Center City Allentown.

I went to Blended for my birthday dinner with a group of friends. My entire dinner party was disappointed with the food because everything we ordered was bland, which we commented to the waitress and manager when they asked how everything was. The manager said she would make things right and remove some items and not charge us, as a few dishes were sent back. When the time came to pay the bill, the manager claimed that the she could not remove more than two meals from the system -- this was said to us with utter rudeness; we were baffled and ended up paying for food that we did not consume. I left hungry and disappointed with the service. The true rating is ZERO stars.

Blended was very good. Fries are huge steak fries that were cooked perfectly. Then we got the Philly boa buns. As well as the wagyu steak you get to cook on a hot stone. Both yummy. The steak was a cool experience. Drinks are also amazing. They have a wide variety of high quality craft beer along with fun craft cocktails. Will definitely return!

Awesome new place in downtown Allentown. Food was delicious - the hot chicken bao buns and cheesesteak dumplings were especially amazing - and great selection of specialty cocktails and beers on tap. Cant wait for another warm weekend to enjoy the outdoor bar area!
