Worst Vietnamese food I’ve ever eaten in France. Even foreigners know what bun cha looks like, so if youre not ready to sell the food, dont serve me such a bun cha! The fish sauce to eat with Nem & Bun Cha is very bad too!
The starters were good (samosas vegan), but all 5 of us were disappointed with our main dishes. 3 different fried noodles, 2 different vegetarian salads. Really nothing special and worth going to on a nice evening in Bordeaux.
Lugar pequeno e aconchegante, bom atendimento e comida deliciosa!
Very authentic Vietnamese food with good value for money and nice staffs
Bun Cha Hanoi here is the closest I’ve ever had outside of Hanoi. Fantastic broth, great sausage patties and BBQed pork.Served with mint , coriander and basil… so not the full retinue of herbs you would expect on the streets of Hanoi… but pretty darn good for France!
Very nice vegetarian fried rice and veggie 😋
Good underground restaurant.Great food👌
I have experience vietnam foods in Bordeaux so delicious some foods make me feel my country stand by me .
Fantastic Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of Bordeaux!Treated ourselves to two delicious house cocktails (non alcoholic available too!to accompany some tasty pho, and a delicious vegan dish of rice paper rolls, crisp tofu and beautiful marinated mock duck steak. One of the greatest meals I have had to date! Will return!
Nice portion, authentic vietnamese taste
Good choice when youre looking for gluten free food
Traditional Vietnamese food. Tasty.
Stumbled upon this gem walking through the city centre on our first night of a city break. Fantastic, friendly and warm staff AND the food. Magnificent. We might even be back tomorrow
Tiny little place in the heart of city center. The food is fantastic for the weather and service is great. Very friendly guy.
This place is the sure thing. Get a filling and complete meal for 10€ and as a bonus it happens to be very good. The dining room is not the most comfortable and I live and work around so I mostly take away. The staff is nice and I always thank them for not putting eggs in my noodles or rice.
Absolutely tasty Vietnamese food. Authentic flavours. Great service and polite staff. Excellent experience. Better than most restaurants we have eaten in during Europe trip. Definitely worth eating here.
Really awesome and welcoming place! We were travelling though on our way for a quick bite and they let the restaurant open for an extra hour only for us! Food was great and authentic and prices fairer as anY other place we visited in France! Highly highly recommend it :)
Great service. Food was top shelf.I had the vermicelli with pork and my wife had the pho. Very authentic with great taste.Saigon beer is a great touch.Thank you
Food is so delicious husband had the vermacelli noodles with beef and I had it with pork. Both were so good, meat is cooked to perfection. My 2 year old son doesnt normally like much meat but he ate the entire kids plate of beef with steamed rice. Its a very small place with very little space, I would have rather sat downstairs where it was a bit cooler but was fine once the doors were opened up.
Nice touch with fresh mint tea on arrival! Feel like you are in a local establishment in Vietnam :staff and owner are friendly and take time to explain menu! Pho and bun cha portion is generous and we had hearty meal - a break from French meal after 1 week :)
Great small Vietnamese food place serving some of the pho and vermicelli noodle dishes. Highly recommend!
Love the food
We will go back again. Decent prices, good quality and fresh ingredients, cooked in front of you. The tea was really nice too. We even got a loyalty card. We will be using the loyalty card soon.
Best pho!
Good spot for a quick bite. We came here for dinner and ordered a shrimp fried rice, a seafood crispy noodle and a vermicelli noodle dish. They were all.pretty good and relatively priced ( between 11 - 12 euros per dish). The only comment I have was that my crispy noodle were crispy all the way. In the states they usually have the noodles crispy on the top but soft on the bottom.
Good value for money but uninspired taste
Great fresh food!
Vietnamese restaurant in Bordeaux. Quite limited choices of main courses regarding its a small restaurant. Delicious Phở and Bún chả (although bún chả served here is not really bún chả Hà Nội)! The Nem rolls are also crispy. The portion for each person is a bit skimpy. However would love to try this restaurant again.
A small restaurant with good food and friendly service with the added sound of passing trams.
Small place, mostly for takeaway with some seating. EXCELLENT food. More of a lunch place, but good value and good service.
The food was exceptionally fresh and yummy... We had the vermicelli noodles with chicken. The portions are huge.. Yes HUGE.. English speaking staff.. Will visit again.. :P.S. Chicken options are scarce but they were kind enough to substitute other meats with chicken.
Limited selection. Worst place for Viet food. Super bad service and attitude. We sit in for half an hour and still couldn’t order when some others came later and already started their order. After we waited for 15m, we asked the waiter, who tried to ignore us the whole time, whether we can order or not. She said wait for “one minute”, which last another 15m while it’s not that busy (only 5 tables with customers). They even had a bad attitude when we reasonably tried to give them the feedback. Save your time and energy. Stay away from this place. Would give them -1 star if it is an option.
Some of the best food weve had in France, Paris included. Better Vietnamese than in the U.S. Large portions, I highly recommend this place.
Stumbled randomly across this small restaurant. The food was copious, cheap and really good. I would recommend it to anyone whos looking for Vietnamese food. Ir just food.
Have been here so many times. It never disappoints me or my friends.Highly recommend Bún chả Hà Nội and special meal of the day (you need to call the resto and order)
Good food and nice staff. Will go there again.
Having tried a lot of Vietnamese restaurants around europe, i found this place having very authentic settings and foods. Recommend the "Bun Cha Ha Noi".
Trés bien! Noodle salads were very tasty with a good balance of noodles to veg/meat. The very spicy one was perfectly balanced between very and 100% hot. Recommended
