Quanicassee Wildlife Area - Wildlife Refuge in Bay City, United States
Excellent for ducks today
Great boat launch
Good launch. Long no wake ride to bay.
Not a lot of places to explore, publicly, but the boat launch area is nice
Nice place to camp and fish
Nice quiet clean place to get rested
Absolutely beautiful place to take my family
Nice viewing deck. Porta potty available. Nice walk to pier. Lots of birds. People also fish here.
Beautiful place to take a walk, lots of birds and wildlife walking trail and pier. Great place to catch fish of all varieties.
Nice place to fish for perch.
Great fishing easy access
I fished outta here...nothing more
Peaceful and quiet boat launch just been redone
This is one of the best places to walk. We take the pooch or pooches!
What a beautiful place to sit down and enjoy the marsh or take a short walk.
Beautiful natural area with lots of wildlife.
Nothing interesting to see. That is the only reason I give a low rating
Very cool views will go back when its not raining and walk some more trails.
Great place to spend a quiet afternoon.
Very nice walk. Dog owners need to obey the rules and put their dogs on leashes. Picking up after them would be nice too.
Great place for misquitos in the summer and cold in the winter. Enjoyed by locals.
It is quiet and clean. A great place to explore
Great fishing spots and if you get up to Fishpoint great hunting spots
Beautiful place to go for a walk! Take the pups, take the kids, learn about nature!!! We loved it!
This was an unexpected trail. Rather than form a trail to the landscape the landscape was formed to the trail. There is not much direct access to Lake Huron but if you have long pants there looks to be a pond in the middle of a spit with a canal out to Lake Huron on the western side. There is stinging nettle so if you plan to go off trail you want pants. Expect to see wading birds and frogs.
Very pretty views of the water and nature around. Perfect for kids to enjoy too.
Small piece of heaven
For what it is, its fine for a stroll. Could use a crew of volunteers cleaning up after the slobs who have little respect for nature.
Nice little walk down to lake Huron. People need to take their trash with them though. Beautiful place
Beautiful place,great huntimg and fishing.
You have a man made canal with paved public walkway. On one side is wild marshland protected from the wind and waves. The other side is wild and unprotected from the elements. But that will change depending on the weather. Each time I visit things are different. Water level and clarity change often. Lots of birds and different types of vegetation. Walk out to the end of the trail and get lost in your thoughts.
Nice and peaceful. We just took a little drive and we ended up there.
I fish here a lot on my lunches. Has a boat launch, that requires a pass. It seems to be very well taken care of and always clean.
Finn road Park is a great place to take the kids fishing you might even catch a few bass or pike. You can walk the trail thats goes from the boat launch to the camping grounds and have a good time as well
You can walk right out to Saginaw Bay. I assumed it would be a beach, but it sure wasnt!! Reeds and grasses growing all along the walkway and surprised at the number of large trees growing in the standing water. Was also surprised to see the large white egrets - close to a dozen!! I always assumed they were all down south. Never expected to see them on the Great Lakes!! Not a huge amount of people when we were there, so nice and quiet. People we did meet were open and friendly, and often the first to say hello. Nice place, albeit small.
Great walk with some platforms with marsh views. A little under a 3 mile loop, can be buggy
We went at night and was able to see the stars. We like to listen to the birds and frogs. So peaceful
Mostly a long trial over a mile. Lot of nice wilderness, from swamps and forest. If you wanna see a bald Eagle it would be a good place to go
Great, quality wildlife management. Beautiful area and tons of wildlife. Facilities are nice as well.
Water levels up. After years of record lows. DNR has done good work reducing phragmites! More birds using the area.
Good views in this area also a good place for a few good walks and trails.
Beautiful place to go for a walk. Ive been coming here for the past 10 years, and it still is beautiful to me.
