Quality Inn in Medicine Hat

First time at a Quality Inn, and although things are a bit outdated, my family absolutely loved our stay.The lady at the front desk was amazing and so accommodating, and even gave us an upgraded jacuzzi suite for a discounted price.My kids took a quick dip in the pool and we all took turns having nice long soaks in the jetted jacuzzi. The space in the room was so good for my little to burn off some energy after a super long car ride.I also love that I can park right outside of my room. I’ll be back for sure!!

This hotel is dated and old. It needs an update. The pictures I posted are scratches on the bottom of the tub. I thought they were dirt. The room was clean and large. The beds were clean and comfortable. But everything is old and needs an update. There are several buildings and its hard to find your room. There is no elevator. The pool was closed for maintenance. Funny how that happened another time we stayed here too! The information paper they gave us said breakfast until 9 and the pool hours. But breakfast was actually until 10 and pool is closed. They dont seem to have their act together. We had to wait a while at the front desk for someone to pay attention to us as they all stood there and discussed internal business.Overall, our room was comfortable and clean, but if there had been another hotel available, I would have stayed somewhere else.

On a busy weekend with few room options, we settled on a room at the Quality Inn. The room, a "suite" was slightly larger than a typical room. As others have stated, the hotel is in need of updates and a refresh. However, the room was clean and quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout nthe stay Breakfast was simple but included a mix of self-service items that were all well-stocked in a clean, well cared for breakfast space. Would love a bit more variety and higher quality items (bagels and fresher muffins are always nice additions).

I dont typically leave bad reviews, but in this case, Id say its warranted. After booking online with the company card, the staff member at the desk informed me that they couldnt find the card number. Took a while, but no big deal overall. When I was eventually checked in, I found my room had a number of issues. The mini fridge was broken and the entire cabinet was full of ice. The AC would not turn off despite reaching the set point temperature. The live TV never worked so if you did plan on using the very broken remote control, you were forced to watch outdated pay-per-view. I complained because I needed a fridge to keep my perishables. I was bumped into a (not so sweetsuite. The suite had a jacuzzi tub that wouldnt plug. A bath tub that wouldnt UNplug. An AC unit that would blast constantly but not get cold. And to top it off, there werent any blinds to keep out the terrible orange light right outside my room. The staff were kind and helpful to the best of their abilities, but you can only do so much when your facilities are falling apart. I will never stay at a comfort Inn again as Ive had three bad experiences in a row (of varying levels of heinousness). Do yourself a favour and book basically any other hotel.

My mother and I were heading to a funeral and it got late so we stopped at the quality inn for a night. We got upgraded for free and he accommodated my elderly mother to stay on the ground floor. The room was super nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We definitely will stay here again
