QOMO Restaurant & Bar in Dusseldorf

The only reason why I dont give 5 stars to this place is because of the unpolite and unpleasant hostess (I dont know her name but she had short blonde hair with a tattoo on one of her arms). We discovered this great restaurant during my visit to Düsseldorf, the views are amazing from the top, specially at night and the food was delicious, not to mention the cocktails that were amazing. Me and my friend arrived with no reservation on a Sunday evening around 19:45. We were told by the hostess that a table may be available around 20:30 and that we could wait at the bar (we supposed that they were waiting for the tables previously reserved since we saw some empty tables). So we decided to wait and order some cocktails that were truly tasty. The 2 guys at the bar were very friendly and nice to us and actually thanks to one of them is that we got our table for dinner in the end. We noticed that at 20:30 people started to arrive and my friend decided to find out if we could get our table, the hostess walked by and when we called her by saying "excuse me" she didnt even turn around and just said "hold on". We decided to wait patiently until she was not busy and suddenly it was 21:00. She never came by even though we were very close, never said a word to us so my friend got up and went to ask her about the table (since people stopped coming and there were a few empty tablesshe said "sorry but were full". We were a bit disappointed but moreover annoyed by her careless attitude to us. So we decided to take another cocktail at the bar. Suddenly, one of the bartenders asked us if we wanted a table so we could have dinner, we said yes and he went to talk to the hostess. Around 5 minutes later he took us to our table and there was this lady arranging the table, but she didnt even look at us or say something like "sorry for keep you waiting" not a word at all and just walked away. In other words, our experience would have been perfect if it wasnt for this lady that has no sense of service and education. Leaving this aside, I highly recommend this place but its better if you can reserve in advance. We enjoyed amazing cocktails and tasty sushi.

A wondeful rotating restaurant! Great sushi and Sake, in an elegant place in which you can literally see the entire Duesseldorf landscape due to the rotating floor that permit to turn around the entire tower while you are seated eating something or drinking an aperol spritz. Simply wonderful

Absolutely breathtaking. The service, the food and the view are above excellent. It is a bit pricey but you definitely get your moneys worth.

If it wasn’t for the view and decoration this would have definitely been barely a 1 star ratingAt the end of the day a restaurant is about service and food taste and both of those are not at par with the location and interiorIf you « wanna be » a Zuma or Nobu you are light years behind

Too expensive for what you ultimately get ( portions way too small, service is unsatisfactory)

With great view, it’s better to have a drink here. Btw, azuki cheesecake is a surprise.

Went to QOMO on a company function. The view from the top of Rhine Tower was unbeatably spectacular, especially on the day we went which had great visibility. The food was ordered on a fixed menu either with fish and chicken/beef or vegetarian. They all came out very delicious and displayed artistically. Only one complaint was the spinach salad with shrimps. I felt the spinach was not washed. They tasted very sandy. For the fixed price, I think it’s fair as the quantity of the food was adequate. It’s an Japanese fusion which each dish you only get one piece or small portion per person. But it came out many dishes. I even lost count. The service was friendly and attentive. We stayed there from 6pm to 9:30pm. We enjoyed the rotating view of each angle of Düsseldorf and the beautiful sunset. Will highly recommend.

Great food, unfriendly and unprofessional staff. Waitress bring out one wrong drink from our order, refused to take it back.

Unforgettable experience. Food is mind-blowing, Tokyo Menu is a real journey.

Super view, good service and wine selection and ok food

My buddy and I had a great time at Qomo! First of all, the location in the tower is really spectacular, the view across Düsseldorf and the adjacent cities is breathtaking, especially on a sunny day! Make sure youre not afraid of heights! ;)No less impressive was the experience at the bar! We were in best hands with bartender Andreas. What a nice guy, he really knows how to treat his guests and his skills with cocktails and knowledge about spirits are excelling anything else Ive seen so far! Expertise at its best!The Japanese food was of premium quality, the presentation and taste were superb! Thanks for the great time we had! Hope to come back one day!

Positioned high up on a rotating floor in the tower building this location offers spectacular 360° views on the city its suburbs and its further vicinity.Combined with great Asian fusion food and the restaurants stylish interior design this place guarantees for a great night out.Service started out perfectly but deteriorated slightly with time getting late.The kitchen closes at 10pm which I feel is too early when accepting dinner reservations for 8:30pm.We had a great night at Qomo and are looking forward to coming back and will happily recommend it to our friends.

We had a great meal, beautiful view and an amazing experience.Everything was amazing, we were 5 persons and chose a variety of starters and main courses which we shared. The restaurant is located at the top floor of the TV tower at a height of 172 meters with panoramic views.We loved everything but especially liked:SashimiLamb chopsRib Eye SteakThe sushi (Spring roll, Sake roll)Deserts - allIt is not cheap but great value for money as the taste and quality were exquisite.Parking is available at 2.5 eur per hour at the base of the tower.Highly recommended. Enjoy.

Mega expensive, Beautiful view and friendly staff. You are not allowed to light up candle 🕯️ on the cake due to safety reasons. So we celebrated our Anniversary and it was pleasant.

Excellent service. Perhaps a bit too free with filling the wineglass, but that could also be called attentive.Food was great.

Thanks goes to the entire team of Qomo and in particular to Amin - it was a real pleasure. Qomo is a beautiful place over the tops of Dusseldorf where one can enjoy fantastic Japanese food with an awesome view over the Rhine area. Amin was a fantastic host who always took perfect care and made this evening unforgettable. We are happy to came back again.

We spent heare our anniversary on a Saturday. For Germany the japanese food was good. The nigiris had a great quality. I think the Rolls are mostly used as fillers but the quality could be improved. You get better ones in the Japanese area. Howerver, everything combined with the view, service and drinks, it was really worth the money spent. Of course for me not every day restaurant but for very special occasions I would come back. Btw, Dessert and Coffe were great!

The place has an amazing view for a romantic dinner especially sunset & 360 degree evening views of the city. The staff are amazing & offers a great friendly service!Food was amazing! Was worth every penny with ‘osaka dinner’ with those romantic views! 8,5€ For a bottle of water is a bit too much! Otherwise it was a perfect evening!

Gorgeous view. The floor turns, so that you can see the entire city. It did mess with my mind a bit at first. Delicious cocktails, and nice staff.

5/5. Everything here was absolutely perfect. All employees were very friendly and took photos of everyone there. The DJ was really good and friendly as well.We had Sushi, Spicy Edamame (which was perfect, best Japanese dish i ever had), some Sashimi, tiramisu (which was so cool and looked like a plant potand some cake. Everything was just perfect.Cocktails were really good as well. Bathrooms were very clean and had good products.The whole tower rotates so u can see all of Düsseldorf.One in a life time experience.

It could have been a nice experience but the women from the reception was highly disrespectful.We want to try some typical German food so we decided to go to this bar afterwards for dessert and drinks and have a nice evening.The women at the reception refuse to giving us a table but only letting us sitting at the bar when we answered that we are here for drinks. So I thought I’m also down for some desserts and after dinner snacks and ask if then we can sit at the table in that case. She says” Only if you consume over 80 euro per person then you can sit at the table…”Afterwards when we were going to the bathroom, she was screaming at us “mask, mask…” while we are pulling it out and trying to put on. Every time she pass by the table I found her staring at us intensely…I found her behaviour highly inappropriate, no offence but not sure who is she trying to discriminate or look down on to with her position. At the end her job is to making guest feeling welcomed and she’s failing on that.

Here is ultra quality restaurant. Staff is very polite and well educated. All meals are delicious. I strongly advise you visit here and taste their meals. Thank you very much Qomo staff.

One of the best sushi addresses in town. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite sophisticated yet you can easily feel comfortable and at home. The quality of the rolls and all other dishes is very high. The selection of wines is also very wide and the only limit is how much you want to spend for it. On top of the rolls they have a very nice selection of other typical Japanese dishes. Excellent price-quality radio. In any case reservation is quite mandatory. Many thanks to the amazing guest relations girl Anita & Anna, they made our experience unforgettable by excellent hospitality skills and their friendliness. Can’t wait to be back!

The place has an amazing view for a romantic dinner but what makes the difference is the staff.Antonella helped me to find a table and follow up via emails as well to make sure everything was sorted.As well Camel has been a really friendly and prepared waiter who suggested us super delicious plates.

Great service: Very professional, friendly and always up to a joke. We didnt have to wait at all. The view was amazing, making dinner a wonderful experience. I can definitely recommend the cheesecake and cocktails. The food was good and high-quality but not as special as expected. Of course, some things were a bit overpriced. Paying 8,50 Euro for a bottle of water is a little bit exaggerated.

Incredible views and beatiful food, really talented Chef, Masanori Ito and kitchen!! Unfortunately theyve been let down by their waiting staffs lack of respect, care and attention to the amazing food and the paying guests. No greetings, no explanations of the dishes served, no interest to offer or take orders for drinks etc, very different to other dining experiences where recommendations were made from the beginning all with a welcoming smile - would have been nice to pair the dishes with good wine or sake.We were really looking forward to the experience as the website really celebrated the Chef but unfortunately it ended up feeling like a tourist attraction rather than a dining experience...fair to say had the service been as good as the food, the bill at the end of the night would have been at least double...next time? Not sure!

Awesome, always good but a really good choice in corona times. Lots of space between tables, this has always been a more intimate eating experience because there is only one row of tables. Also the air is nice and cool. The food is very good and the waiting staff extremely attentive.

Excellent experience, food and drink are phenomenal! Service was amazing and the setting is absolutely brilliant especially if you time it so you see the sunset over the city too.

The sushi are average.They forgot to put the egg, instead got more cucumber. The roll was almost tasteless. The stars are only for location with view.

If you are visiting a beautiful city of Dusseldorf or a local resident who would like to celebrate a special occasion or just to come and enjoy incredible views and delicious food, Qomo Restaurant is the place for you!Weve been to the restaurant a few times now and the food is always delicious, fresh and beautifully presented! We fell in love with Maki rolls- I think they are the best in the whole Dusseldorf; the mango salad is fresh and flavourful; the dessert platter is a must- there were a lot of WOWs when we were presented a platter for 4 people and everything was yummy!If you are a fan of cocktails, the restaurant has a very tempting menu for you or if you are like me and enjoy your wine more, weve been recommended a very nice wines which went nicely with our meals. We also ordered Sake with our sushi.The atmosphere is relaxing and the new decor is very comfortable. The views are to die for, especially during the night when you could see the citys lights. The rotating floor allows you to see the whole city and we spent more than 2 hours in the restaurant every time.After the few visits we found that female waiting staff members were more attentive and professional and we gave them better tips.In conclusion, I really enjoyed my visits to Qomo restaurant and I will be a returning customer. If you are planning something special or to impress your family members, friends or colleagues etc, Qomo restaurant is definitely worth a consideration.

A bit dissatisfying that you call to book dinner for st Valentine’s Day and apparently had to specifically notify you want menu and not a la card in advance (nothing was stated on menu that it had to be booked in advance, nor did staff asked you during call what you are booking for). In the end we had a la card and manager was very nice and offered us complimentary drink, but for restaurant at such level not being precise about conditions is not quite acceptable. Overall place is very nice, stunning view at the city, food is good.

The food was okayish and the service was extremely slow. We went in a group and the team seemed rather unhappy to see too many people.The food portions are large but you don’t feel like you are eating at one of the best Japanese food restaurants in Düsseldorf. The food quality is disappointing and makes you question if a dinner worth 60 euros makes sense.Cocktails are great as indeed something one can come for If they wish to enjoy the view which was beyond amazing!!!

The best ambience I ever experienced in a restaurant. Very friendly staff ❤️ Superb food. The view was fantastic with the revolving floor, we saw this beautiful city of Düsseldorf and the beautiful Rhine from all the angles during our 2 and half hours stay in this lovely restaurant! Expect to drop some money here if youre going for the full experience. The staff were extremely professional, warm and welcoming.The restaurants dining area rotates 360 degrees, quite slowly so you barely notice unless youre concentrating. Its a different kind of experience.Cocktails are great. Food was definitely worth the price. Those steaks are just the right kind of juicy.

Beautiful restaurant located at the top of the rheinturm. The restaurant revolves slowly around Düsseldorf giving each table stunning views over the city. The food was excellent and came promptly. Theres a good selection of wine and cocktails also, I tired to geisha mule which was a unique take on a classic. The tuna tartar signature dish was one of my favourites. Lots of plates to pick from which are good for sharing.

Breathtaking view. Personally recommend berry basil cocktail, dragon and beef sushi rolls. Didnt like the service, spoils all the experience. Our waitress was young, didnt switch to English, was very slow and not very confident, couldnt recommend anything. Over the phone when booking a table answered an Asian woman with bad German, saying the restaurant is booked out but we can still come and wait at the bar. When we tried calling second time, a very nice young man said he can offer a high table for us (6 people). When we came to the restaurant (19:30it was half empty, and around 3-4 tables near us remained empty until 11:30 pm. Booking tables online said all booked out and possible only in a week. Would really appreciate administrators answer to that!
