QB Gelato & Café in West Kelowna

QB Gelato is one of the most unique dessert and hot beverage experiences Ive ever had. The BEST gelato paired with the creative imagination of the owner, Kevin, so that Ive encountered flavours that I didnt know could exist in vegan and traditional gelatos, as well as tempting pies, tarts, and cheesecakes.Kevins gelato-infused lattes and coffees are creamy and so satisfying. I love that QB is open year-round, because its a regular stop for me.

We always have the best time when we visit our favourite dessert place in Kelowna. The gelato is fabulous, I cant pick a favourite flavour. Some of my top favs are salted caramel, coffee, london fog, creamy coconut sorbet and granny smith apple sorbet. Kevin is delightful and always makes my son feel special. We cant wait for our next visit to try a new flavour!

Very good gelato. Since I liked both flavours that the owner let me sample, I bought both. The burnt milk gelato, and blueberry lavender gelato tested exactly as advertised. The owner is very passionate about his business and the place is clean.

Always come to QB Gelato when we visit Kelowna (usually to Limeys next doorand today, OMG I had a scoop of Mint Choc and a scoop of Caramel gelato and I have to say, its the best gelato I have ever tasted, the mint was like mint from your garden, not generic mint choc chip you can get anywhere, I had to go back inside to complement the owner, seriously, really do yourself a favour, go here, buy gelato its just spectacular. Pretty much all their homemade fayre is fantastic. Bravo.

So, so, so good!!! The gelato is amazing! I haven’t tried anything else *yet* but I’m sure everything is just as delicious as the gelato (if that’s even possible 😆). I highly recommend that you stop in and pick up a treat for yourself and/or buy a surprise treat for a friend. You won’t be disappointed!!

Holy moly. I cant remember the last time I had gelato this good. I got their dairy-free chocolate gelato and it was so rich and "creamy" I just cant get over it. A lot of the time chocolate gelato just ends up tasting like sugar but not this one. This one tasted like the happy tears of angels. Will be back!

If you are a person with celiac in the Kelowna area, this is a must visit place! Fantastic selection of celiac safe gelato (at least 12 flavours and only 3 weren’t gluten free). They also offer a gluten free ice cream cone, and each scooper is only used on the specific ice cream flavour, so cross contamination is essentially zero! Also the guy serving me was knowledgeable about celiac and extremely welcoming and eager to show off what they had!

Italians will either become curious and go try their Gelato, or hate this comment....Their gelato is even better than the gelato I have tried in Italy. All the flavourings are completely from scratch, you really CANNOT beat it.On top of that, if you catch one of their Supper Club meals, you will have one of the best and most creative dinners you can find in the Okanagan.

We drop by here when we travel in Kelowna and I choose Large cup(3 flavors). OMG green godness is the best!! Please try this guys :)

Decided to stop by today and bought a small coffee Gelato and it is the best gelato Ive ever had! Check this place out!! Also as someone who is allergic to wheat I was blown away they had Gluten free cones, Ill have to try that next time :)

If you want to be thoroughly mistified by flavor combinations, wine combinations, and incredible culinary passion do yourself a favor and book yourself a supper club at QB Gelato. One of the most unique and enjoyable dining experiences that I have had the luck to have. A true Kelowna gem and a must for food and wine lovers!

We had fantastic coffee drinks, two different pizza slices (squash & Italian sausagethen gelato for dessert (pistachio, chocolate sorbet, sage&burnt butter). Everything was delicious! Flavorful, fresh…QB is the real deal. We’ll be back again soon (maybe tomorrow!)

You know from other reviews that this is the best gelato in Kelowna - but another reason to come here is that the staff actually care. I eat out a lot, like a dozen times a week. I can’t remember the last time someone came out to the outdoor seating to check to see how your take away was. Seriously, we order from the friendly and informative staff member behind the counter, pay, get our huge cones and sit outside. A few minutes later the same staff member comes outside and goes by each table of people to ask them how they are liking the ice cream. Mind blowing. Such a simple step but this is one small example of a business culture that separates a store from a brand. Hats off to QB for either instituting this OR else for hiring someone who cares and shows it. Her attitude alone would bring us back — but really let’s get back to the gelato…. The mint chocolate chip is made with fresh mint grown locally. None of this fake bright green food coloring. It’s my favorite thus far. Will be coming back until we’ve tried every flavor!

Treated some friends to QB Gelato the other day and they were very impressed. Between the three of us, we ordered milk chocolate, salted caramel, custard, nutmeg, and pumpkin cheesecake gelato. Amazing. You really must give them a try.

I absolutely adore their gelato! Especially the gin + honey roasted strawberry panna cotta. An absolute dream! The staff are great and the owner is super friendly. Highly recommend!

There is free parking out front. The shop itself was really nice, bright and clean. It was my first time there, so I tried a few things. The pizza was super flavorful with a delicious light airy crust. I tried 2 different tarts, lemon and chocolate caramel. Lets just say I could eat a tub of the lemon filling, it was that good, and although I have had a similar chocolate caramel tart at another place, this one was by far better. I was also intrigued by the better than a muffin dessert which was made with almond flour and had a pineapple blueberry filling. It was also incredibly delicious and I loved the light almost melt in your mouth texture. The last treat I tried was a huge chocolate chip cookie with flaked salt on top. It was soft, chocolaty perfection. I cant wait to go back and try more things like their bread and some Gelato!

Love this place so much we hit it up twice during our short stay in Kelowna. Great staff, good flavours, and a nice place to sit outside on a hot Kelowna day.

My family and I are from Grande Prairie, Alberta and I found out about QB gelato from a YouTube Vlog/Review so when we came to visit Kelowna, we tried it and we loved it! The staff were friendly and helpful and they are very knowledgeable about their products. Loved all the gelato flavors we tried (Pistachio, strawberry, coffee, vanilla, salted caramel). Gelato was not too sweet and just right. Flavors tasted natural and fresh. Cookies and danish were also awesome. Well definitely come back to try other flavors while were here in Kelowna. I highly recommend stopping by their shop if youre in Kelowna.

LOVED the pistachio gelato! Was the right amount of salty and sweet and tastes exactly like a fresh pistachio! The sour cherry was also amazing and the blueberry lavender was a perfect compliment. My recommendation: go hungry or go with friends to try more than one flavour!!

Found this place based on reviews and it did not disappoint.The gelato was nice and creamy and tasted fresh.The cookie was great, you can’t go wrong with a classic chocolate chip.Not to mention the people working at the time were really great. I’d definitely come back here!

Starting with the interior, QB was modern and lovely!Products had high quality, and were selective.I liked the pistachio flavour the most, but the holy cacao was too sweet that I couldn’t finish it all!The two people who helped us with our orders were friendly, kind and helpful.Will probably come back :)

This is by far the best Gelato place in my opinion. Best pistachio gelato Ive ever had, and I frequent places all over western Canada. They put lots of thought into this place and the flavours. Everything is done with a passion and it shows in the product. I tried the Affogato (espresso over top of Gelatowith a bit of reluctance, and to my surprise it was actually incredible haha. Cant reccomend the place enough, staff is beyond patient and went above and beyond to explain each of the flavours. To me that counts as much as the quality of the product.

Mmmm... That creamy coconut Gelato is the best! My friend and I cant get enough of their affogatos... Plus I just had their tomato soup and waffled grilled cheese! 😋!

Absolutely fabulous dinner! The choice of dishes and the inventive creations of pairing traditional ingredients with gelato was astounding and unique on every level. Cant wait for the next one!

Victor and Kevin (and companyoutdid themselves with an outstanding five-course meal wonderfully paired with unique gelato blends and the #theviewwinery wines. These two continue to impress with with their warm hospitality, clean, modern space, gorgeous flavours, and drive to provide more than *just* delicious and innovative gelatos and sorbets made with love using locally sourced ingredients. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend going in to taste their gelatos and sorbets. My all-time favourite standby: Holy Cacao sorbet.

QB Gelato is one of Kelownas best kept secrets.First: The Gelato.This is the best gelato you can find in BC. Period. They have a wide variety of ever changing flavours, from sweet to savoury, and its all made in house from scratch. Being from Montreal, where you can find gelato on every corner, I can confidently say that this is the best gelato Ive ever had.Second: Classes & Events.We attended a Behind the Scenes class where we learned the history and science behind making gelato from scratch. We sampled raw ingredients, learned the history of Gelato, and drank lots of wine. I highly recommend their classes for date night, or as a team building exercise after work!Third: The Owners.Victor and Kevin are just as much of the experience as the gelato itself. They are incredibly kind, funny and knowledgable. They put a lot of care into their craft, and it really shows. These two entrepreneurs will charm your socks off.Do yourself a favour and stop in. You wont be disappointed.

Love, love, love QB. We have been loyal qb-ers for a few months now and are never disappointed. You can taste the love in all of their flavors. The staff is warm & friendly and theyre always patient when youre feeling indecisive. The prices are more than fair considering the quality of the gelato. Other places just dont compare. Definitely a must visit!

AMAZING gelato. AMAZING. That is actually an avocado (the real skinexcept with their “avocado” and “holly cacao” sorbet. Everything is hand crafted in their kitchen and they source local too! This place is seriously a hidden gem. Also met the owner, Kevin, who was super friendly 😊

Some of the best gelato I have ever had! They use all local ingredients including the coffee used for the affogato. Also offered are gelato making classes and gelato to-go in sample jars, 1/2, and 1 litre containers.
