Q-Park City Hall - Parking Garage in Cork, Ireland
Very expensive only in for less than 15 minutes charge me €3.50 id look elsewhere overpriced wouldnt recommend unless you have deep pockets
Small too high price of parking, and need walk 5 min until main street
We, 3 students, parked there. When we came back all of our bags including our laptops etc. were stolen out of the car.
Expensive and ridiculously tight parking and small ramps between levels.
Very convenient with very helpful staff
Well located, easy access and wide spaces.
Good location, 24/7 parking, tight squeeze to get in, expensive.
Its not far from the east end of Paul St and the others tht comprise the City Centre shopping district. I had so. Trouble using the pay terminal. And a bill of 33 euros for 9.5 hours seemed pricey. Could have saved myself 10 euros parking in the street and getting a new disc every two hours.
Parked there today Tuesday 3rd May 2022 and will never park there again. First of all when I came back to pay at the machine of which there are 2 but one was out of order. The remaining one kept breaking down and as a result a large queue formed. The car park assistant had to come twice to get it going again. When I finally got to pay and drove to the exit another queue of cars had formed there as neither of the two barriers would allow cars out when the drivers inserted their tickets. The assistant had to be called again to try and get the barrier machines working. I was held up for just over 20 minutes altogether. It could only be described as a fiasco.
Waiting in a que for 40 min to pay 5 .20 more than advertised and waiting an hour before leaving my parking spot.
One of the better ones in the city. Too expensive though, and first hour should be free in all public car parks if you want us to return to spending in the city. 5⭐when that happens
I parked on the 2nd floor, but the lifts dont go to the 2nd floor even if you press 2 repeatedly, even if you change lifts, both lifts went to the 4th floor every time, u rang the alarm- no one answered, so dont park here if you have difficulty with stairs,a buggy or a wheelchair. Never again will I.
Very tight, wouldnt want to have a big car or van
Too overpriced, 13 euro for 3 hours. What a joke!! Spaces too narrow! Would not recommend here park somewhere else!
Its a bit tight for getting around if you own a big car.Scratched my jeep! Parking space is very narrow if two big cars are side by side
Just back from this carpark while it has 2 wheelchair parking spaces on the lower level a q park staff van was parked in one of them with no blue badge parking . there were plenty of empty spaces around the place as shown in the photo . This is disgraceful . My mother is a wheelchair user who drives and this gets frustrating in public spaces but in a par park with staff monitoring thats just not on .up dateI visited the carpark again this weekend and was happy to see the van not there . 2 wheelchair spaces isnt alot considering how many people rely on them .
Five Star review for Sean at City Hall Cork. Not only helping me with taking in and out my wheelchair but was buzzing around giving help and advice to anyone who seemed in any difficulties. Great to see the art of customer service is not dead. Well done
Only got 20 cents off the ticket with vaccines! Also the spaces are very narrow
Overpriced, very narrow, and not enough parking spaces. Get a bus or a taxi for a better experience.
Its a bit tight for getting around if you own a big car.
Expensive, spaces are very small and hard to drive around with big cars
Handily placed carpark on edge of city centre. Only problem I had was I found it difficult to negotiate. If I frequented the carpark, Im sure I would overcome this minor inconvenience as I get used to it.
Very bad car park lay out, elevator lift kept bring us to level 8 when i was pressing the button for level 4. Very tight car park spaces, no signs showing where the lifts were, will not be parking there again.
Q park city hall parking is a paid parking located in the cork city center. There are 2 floors for parking and the parking entrance is narrow. When I parked in here, I had an issue with the payment and there is no other option near by to pay. You need to go back inside the building to pay, this could lead to a congestion in the parking exit. Overall my car was safe without any scratches.
Friday 06 December 2019 2030.At Anglesey Street Park in Cork, the barrier went up but the roller shutter refuse to go up. It took seven minutes to get a meaningful response from the call centre. The connection kept breaking down. The lady asked for the Easytrip tag number. It took another two minutes to explain that there is no tag number on the tag and she’d have to work with the car registration. By this time three cars had queued up behind me. In the end the lady kindly just opened the roller shutter and let me out.Anglesey Street needs somebody on site in the evenings. I’ve had experience before where because I didn’t have a ticket (I’m using the Easytrip systemI wasn’t able to get into the car park on foot. That took a long time to get sorted as well. It’s not a customer friendly place. And while I’m at it, I might as well mention that the parking spaces in it are far too narrow.
Well laid out, but the signage on the floors as you exit could be better!! Terrible smell in the lifts in the evening, a mix of urine and cider!! Reasonably priced.
Terrible experience at QPark today. I called there to charge my EV but found both charging points occupied. So I left almost immediately but first had to validate my ticketMachine said I owed €3.20 so I took Ticket back and went to reception booth which was unoccupied. I rang the help line which took an age to answerThe girl said I owed €3.20 because I had stayed more than 10 minutes. I said that was impossible but she ignored my comments and hung up. Disgraceful customer service - I definitely won’t be going back or recommending QPark
Couldnt get a ticket from the machine messed about for ages, a staff member came and gave us a ticket. Finally managed to get in but with the fuss husband dropped his bike gloves. We asked later at the office and they had not been found. Then we couldnt get out with paid for ticket had to call for help and waited a long time for an answer. No bike parking or reduction for motorbikes... Simply dont use it. Better still dont bother going to cork, it was horrible, run down, full of drunks and nothing to see.
Paid €20 to park here on a Sunday afternoon. Misplaced a personal item while paying for parking. Contacted them twice to see if my item was found. Still waiting for them to even return my call.
Im a bit annoyed with the pay stations at tje city hall facility, both machines were giving trouble. I was charged 3.20 paid 4.00 recieved no change and no ticket returned. I hsd to give my name to operator to exit car park. No mention of change owed. Very disappointing.
THIS is by far my favourite car park in the city centre and the staff there are very nice and helpful. And the car park itself is easy to drive around so not to narrow like others in the city.
Great place to park. Very easy place to find. Staff very helpful and very friendly. 24 hour parking. Very easy to get from the car park to the city centre. Plenty of parking spaces. Great place to park even if going into city hall which is beside the car park.
Absolute disgrace of a Car Park facility inside the centre of Cork City.Found homeless drinking alcohol in the Car Park stairway, forcing us to walk down car ramps to avoid any confrontations. After returning from a full day of shopping, we took the lift to our floor and was greeted by a mother and two children, terrified as there was a drunk homeless woman passed out on the stairway with drink bottles on the floor.Avoid Q-Park at all costs!!!
Very convenient if you are going to city for small errands. The parking space is just bit more than for a big cars. Few spaces are awkward placed and hard to get in and out with big SUVs.The convenience come with a price. One time we ended up paying almost 14 EUR for just parking.Consider it as an option only if you wanted to be in city for 1-2 hours at maximum. Otherwise use park and ride. Its more convenient and economical.
Pre-booked online 24 hr ticket. On exiting at 04.00, (17 hrs after enteringmachine asks for €3 extra to exit. How many people do you catch with that?!!
Visited Cork for a match. We booked the car park online but were not sure on how to print the ticket when we arrived. The attendant onsite was extremely helpful and called over immediately to sort us out.
very convenient carpark based in the centre of the city. ample spaces and in comparison to other local car parks it doesnt cost a fortune
Today 20th Feb 2018 I had the privilege of using this car park its was easy to find and entry + exit very straight forward.Price for 5hrs when you book online was very reasonable @ 11eur.On leaving the car park I made contact with the help desk and spoke to Denis who was very helpful and courteous in dealing with my query.I would highly recommend this parking company for all your parking needs in all other counties .Thanks again MG.
Last week (9th Feb 2018I parked in this car park. When I was leaving,(at 19.30I paid my ticket fee but when I came to the barrier, my ticket would not work. The machine kept telling me that my ticket was unreadable. There was nobody there to answer me when I called the help button. There was nobody in the office either! It didnt help that there were cars behind me waiting to go out of the car park and had to use the other barrier. I called the office in Cork and Dublin and no answer. I had no other option but leave my car there over night and get someone to collect me. NOT ACCEPTABLE.I went back the next morning (09.00)(after having to ask somebody to give me a lift back into town againand still nobody in the office. I walkied up to the top floor of the car park to see if there was any member of staff around the place. I then rang the intercome somebody finally answered me and told me to drive down to the barrier. Now anybody who knows this car park knows it is extremely narrow and it was very difficult to reverse up the ramp and park the car for the night. I didnt even get an apology. Absolute disgrace. What good is a 24hour car park when nobody is there to help when its needed. Will not be parking here again.
Q-Park at City Hall Cork is a great facility! Right in center of the city and plenty of parking available. I park there daily and have dealt with Denis who has always been extremely helpful and friendly every time Ive had a problem or a question.
Good location but seriously expensive. Very friendly staff, Denis helped me after I made a mess of a pre-booked space (new system). All the other staff have been helpful when needed.
On 22-Jan., I was leaving the Car Park Garage-City Hall in the morning. I got to gate and unable to get the machine to work to pay to leave. Luckily Dennis was on-duty. He came out of his office and assisted me. He told me to stay in the car and that he will goto a paystation for me and collect payment. 5 minutes later, he returned with my receipt and card and let me out. Thanks Dennis for your much-needed, and embarassing help. If ever I am in the area and in need of parking, I will look here first!
A clean and modern car park with easy entry and exit. Charged per hour. Id already paid my exit fee, but then noticed a front tyre was flat. The car park attendant, Dennis was very understanding, helpful and patient when i had to leave my car in the car park for a while, while i got the tyre repaired.
Denis in Q-Park City Hall was extremely helpful and courteous when I needed assistance with my ticket on Wed 20 December - a valuable and hopefully valued employee
Denis from Q-Park City hall was a saviour! As I was stressing out, with a million cars behind me, he sprinted over to me to help me with my card. Please erect statue in his honour!
I park in the City Hall carpark Monday to Friday every week. The staff there especially Denis are always so pleasant to deal with. Its very reassuring to know that there is someone so helpful there to assist if Im ever in a spot of bother.
Denis was extremely helpful this morning when i arrived after 10.00am this morning to collect my car, having left it over night. Well done Denis.
I had prebooked parking which was a really simple process and saved a lot of money (especially with the Axa discount toounfortunately the code scanner wasnt working but Denis was on the ball and helped immediately. Great service!
Location was great. Price was not. There was a deal for overnight parking for €5 but i was in a little too early so it cost me €18. The car park was empty when we left and I can see why. Too expensive
Good offers on prepaid parking but in the run up to Christmas there was no one in the office to validate my ticket and no one answering the help button at the machines. I had to let a bunch of people go ahead of me so I could clear out the queue that formed at the machine while I was trying to get someone to answer. Eventually after about 10 mins I got some by walking out and pressing the help button at the barrier. Turns out, that when no one is in the office, you must press the help buzzer when leaving. Would have been very helpful if, when no one is in the office, if there was a notice left in the office telling you of this fact or simply stating it on your website! Which, when I checked it, just told me that there may not always be someone in the office and to check the times...of course I couldnt find anywhere on the website either which gave the times!
