These are THE best hot dogs in Iceland and that’s not arguable. I’ve lived in Iceland for a few years and the hot dogs in Reykjavík taste sad compared the these ones in Akureyri. For real, you have to try their volcano hot dogs or even their regular ones. They have vegetarian, vegan options and even crispy jalapeños if you ask them.

Extremely delicious hot dogs 😋😋 their new volcanic dog is super yummy, but as well the others. Our first hot dogs were so tasty that we went for a second round 🙈 they have both vegeterian and vegan versions of their hot dog varities. There are some tables & chairs to sit if you want. Highly recommended!!

If you are visiting Akureyri this place is a must visit. Best hot dogs we had on our tour around Iceland. Volcanic dog is excellent. As is the bacon dog.

Delicious hot dogs, got one that my arteries didnt like; a hot dog with chips on top. But it was delicious and one of the cheapest meals Ive had.

I had a hotdog with potato salad, and did not trusted it really, but it was great.Nice suprise. Cost 800krPotato salad itself was really nice and that is coming from someone who lives in a country, where people eat potato salad at christmas.

This must be the singular best hot dog booth in the whole of Iceland. The range includes many vegan and vegetarian options and its just awesome!

Go get yourself some dogs! Very affordable. Very delicious. The vegan volcanic dog was the real MVP. Food is prepared quickly, so the line moves steadily.

Such good hot dogs! I got the volcano dog and it was the best hot dog I’ve ever had! My boyfriend got the pizza dog and the regular all dressed one. We both really loved the place! Better than in Reykjavík

Our first time having Icelandic pylsur and we were pleasantly surprised! Weve heard the appeal and we get it! Thin sausage with crispy fried onions, simply delicious! We preferred the grilled sausage to the typical one. Prices varied between 500-1500isk.

The only hot dog stand in Iceland (that I’m aware ofthat sells vegan hot dogs. I got the volcano dog and it was amazing! So grateful for the several vegan options.

I ordered a volcanic hot dog, which was a pleasant surprise. Sriracha Chilli Sauce on top of the hotdog was sublime. Don’t miss it. Streetfood at its best.

Great hot dogs at a reasonable Icelandic price. Many different combinations to choose from.y tip is to get something a little unusual and be surprised at how good it is.

These were amazing! We tried a typical dog with everything, the potato salad one and the picked beets one. I really dont think you can go wrong. I think these were better than the one in Reykjavík.

Hot dogs cost around 6$ USD each and all were delicious! They have interesting toppings such as baked bean+bacon hot dog or potato salad hot dog.I would definitely recommend eating here.

TRULY THE BEST HOT DOG STAND!!!! I tried the famous one at Reykjavik but Akureyri’s is hands down better. Order more fried onions - I think I got the one with bacons!

These hot dogs are amazing! Definitely one of the best dogs in the country (and trust me, I traveled around the whole country trying them hahah). The buns are toasted, theyre well made. The mustard and fried onion ones are definitely the best. However, they have a lot of funky creations to choose from, dont worry! Plus the staff is very friendly! 10/10 would recommend!

Icelandic hot dogs are so yummy and different! I got the breakfast dog with egg, bacon and it was delicious! Would recommend the Akureyri style of hot dogs. Their signature akureyri dogs are delicious and unique too.

SO GOOD!!! Definitely stop here for a hotdog. My fiancé and I were guilty of eating so many. Start with just a plain hotdog then go big. They had many variety. The bean and bacon one is very good.

Without a doubt the best hotdogs i have ever eaten. I had two, one with bacon and fried onion, the other with bacon and baked beans. If I hadnt already had dinner, I would have tried others too. Very reasonable prices for Iceland, and the server was adorable. A definite highlight!

Lots of funky hot dog flavours. We were just super happy to have the hot dogs. We had them just agyer 11pm (when Google maps suggested they may be closed), not sure what time they actually close but seems like a late night joint.

Simply the best! And as a New Yorker, I cant recommend these hot dogs enough! The staff is super sweet and friendly as well. Definitely dont miss these dogs if you are anywhere near by!

Fantastic prices for the most delicious hotdogs in the world! Since Ive been to Iceland I cannot get enough of these hotdogs. Every city I go to I contemplate getting another. That being said I have seen them go for upwards of 1,400 isk. This place starts them at 400 isk. The atmosphere is great, lively music is played from the stand and the street is popular with people walking and shopping. Well worth the stop!
